GOP NOMINEE’S AD HITS ON EMAIL SCANDAL …
GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is seizing upon the latest escalation of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton‘s email scandal as part of his final push for the White House.
A new thirty-second ad slams Clinton for the still-unraveling scandal – which was reinvigorated last week when the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced it was reopening its investigation of Clinton after finding hundreds of thousands of relevant emails on the server of disgraced U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner.
Weiner – the estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin – is being investigated for exchanging lewd messages with an underage girl.
According to the Trump campaign the ad – entitled “Unfit” (above) – will serve as part of the GOP nominee’s “closing argument to the American people” and will “air in major markets across the country.”
“Decades of lies, cover-ups and scandal have finally caught up with Hillary Clinton,” the ad’s narrator states. “Hillary cannot lead a nation while crippled by a criminal investigation.”
Clinton, meanwhile, was been slamming Trump’s fitness for office via television spots that rehash his prior lewd remarks toward women.
