WOMAN THREATENED OFFICERS IN THE NAME OF CONGRESSMAN …
There’s a truly bizarre story from reporter Gregory Yee of The (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier involving a woman by the name of Maureen Culbreth.
According to Yee’s report, police on the Isle of Palms, S.C. claim Culbreth “spit in their faces and threatened to rip their throats out ‘like a vampire.'”
The incident allegedly took place outside The Refuge restaurant shortly after 10:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday evening. Prior to accosting police, Culbreth is accused of “charging” customers in the restaurant and trying to tackle them.
After she was arrested is when things get really interesting, though …
“(Culbreth) began to make threats stating that she was going to have (the officer) killed by Trey Gowdy,” police said. “During the entire ride, (she) kept stating that she was going to kill both officers by ripping their throats out like a vampire.”
Hold up … Trey Gowdy? The congressman?
Yes …

Adding intrigue to the narrative, neither Yee nor the police were immediately able to determine any “further information” about Culbreth – including her “city of residence” (she’s a native of Boiling Springs, S.C., apparently).
Bizarre …
Curiously, this isn’t the first time Gowdy has been connected to a crazytown situation involving a violent woman.
And this guy is the one who led the U.S. House investigation into Hillary Clinton!
