As far as we can tell, there’s absolutely no proof that a posse of creepy clowns has been using wads of cash (and green lasers) to lure children into the woods next to a Section 8 housing complex in Greenville, S.C.
Seriously … if you ask us, this whole story is starting to sound suspiciously like the infamous Crichton Leprechaun situation.

Is that a good thing for South Carolina? For Greenville?
Not really … unless of course your idea of destination marketing involves creepy clowns that try to lure children into the woods.
Come to think of it, that sounds like a wonderful new addition for Greenville’s social media slogan … Yeah, THAT Greenville!
