Last week we reported on liberal S.C. House of Representatives candidate Ivory Thigpen plopping down nearly $2,000 in golf expenses on his campaign account.

Yes, yes y’all. Now we come to learn that the good reverend (that’s right, Thigpen is a pastor) also dropped $1,000 on a “photography shoot wardrobe” during his campaign.

Having won a Democratic primary race, Thigpen is unopposed in his general election bid for S.C. House District 79 – which is located in northeastern Richland County, S.C. (map). That’s the district that was represented for years by liberal “Republican” Bill Cotty, and most recently by Democrat Mia McLeod.
As we noted in our previous coverage of Thigpen’s dubious “campaign finance” expenditures, we expect him to be a reliable vote for more unsustainable government growth in Columbia, S.C.
And apparently a fashionable one …
