BECAUSE THAT MIGHT CAUSE US TO RETHINK OUR POSITION …
This website opposes “No Knock Raids.” Hell, we oppose the entire “War on Drugs.” How come? Because as long as people aren’t imposing upon the liberty of others, people have a right to do as they please behind closed doors.
Also, the “War on Drugs” has been a costly, colossal failure for taxpayers … to say nothing of a detriment to real economic growth (something this country needs to be embracing right about now).
Candice Lively – who is running for S.C. eleventh circuit solicitor – disagrees with us on this issue. In fact we had it out with her a few weeks ago on this very subject.
Of course that was before we knew how good this former deputy solicitor/ child advocate looked in her U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) garb …

Nice …
While we disagree with Lively on this particular issue, she’s hands down the best candidate for this particular post. In fact based on everything we’re hearing, she’s got the corrupt “Lexington Ring” on the run.
Meanwhile the other frontrunner in this race – Rick Hubbard – appears to be the choice of the status quo in Lexington County.
Hubbard is joined at the hip with disgraced ex-solicitor Donnie Myers, who is stepping down at the end of his current term in the aftermath of his latest alcohol-related incident. Until earlier this year, Hubbard was also an employee of S.C. attorney general Alan Wilson, whose office has been scarred by a major obstruction of justice scandal.
Not exactly confidence building connections, if you ask us …
