Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has been leading in the polls for months, but he’s just received his first endorsement from a major publication – the infamous tabloid The National Enquirer.
This appears to be the first time The National Enquirer has ever endorsed a candidate for president.

Don’t give me this foolishness that Rubio’s people are pushing this story. Trump is praising the National Enquirer for an article that does even claim that Cruz had any affairs, but only repeats what it admits was a quote “dirty tricks” attack by his political opponents.
Trump’s own spokeswoman was pushing the allegations herself live on CNN. This story is being pushed by Trump not Rubio’s people. They would have no motive to help Trump.
