+1000 I’m closer to 65 than 40. I was about 37 before I felt like in my heart of hearts that I was making wise, logical decisions. I think critical thinking finally wrested the steering wheel from emotions. Now my daughters and grandkids have placed me in the family elder spot, seeking my thoughts on stuff happening in their lives. Pretty sweet gig.

There are now many disgruntled Republicans and Moderates trying to deal with the perceived inevitability of a Donald Trump candidacy for the Republican nomination and run for the Presidency.
They don’t understand that many of the average people are fed up with the traditional Democrat and Republican candidates for the Presidency. They saw eight years of Bush and then eight of Obama while the economy stalled, their incomes plateaued, business’ fled this country in record numbers for foreign shores, the status, power, and influence of the US lessened, and the hopes that their children would have more opportunity and have a better life and a better chance to prosper than they had.
Most everyday folks don’t get hung up on some pie-in-the-sky political philosophy. They are just concerned with the economic, social, everyday issues that will make this a better country for them and their children.
It ain’t nothing more than many people waking up and realizing that things in the last fifteen years have not been good, and will continue to get worse for them and their children if they don’t do something.
To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, “America is no longer that shining light on the hill.”

If he does, who knows where he can go. If he does not, it will be 4 to 8 more year of stagnation.

Clinton raised taxes, Republican’s, always wrong about economics, said to a man it would wreck the economy. Result booming economy and a balanced budget handed to Jr. Bush. Then of course, as pointed out before, we had the Republican Bush economic disaster, economic collapse.
