S.C. GOVERNOR: QUESTIONING THE GOP IS “SOMETHING WE DON’T WANT TO SEE HAPPEN”
We wrote last month about S.C. governor Nikki Haley‘s difficulties on the national stage.
Apparently, her struggle is not only real … it’s ongoing.
In keeping with her “United Colors of Benetton” attack on GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, Haley recently appeared on ABC’s “This Week” to offer her thoughts on Trump’s lack of “electability.”
You know, “electability” – that quality her 2012 candidate of choice was supposed to have had (yet didn’t).
Anyway, here’s what Haley had to say to ABC about the possibility of Trump capturing the GOP nomination (as reported by The Washington Post) …
It’s scary. I think what he’ll do to the Republican Party is really make us question who we are and what we’re about. And that’s something we don’t want to see happen.
Ha!
Yes! God forbid the GOP question its fiscal liberalism, its embrace of the welfare state, its appeasement of Barack Obama, its love of open borders, its rampant crony capitalism or its enslavement to political correctness.
… that’s something we don’t want to see happen.
It’s funny. We haven’t seen Haley (inadvertently) tell the truth like this since that whole affair over her secret password …
Of course the real story here isn’t Haley’s slip of the tongue. It’s the fact she is continuing to march blindly in obedience to a “Republican” establishment that has created the very movement it now seeks to eliminate.
Good. Luck. With. All. That.

Poor Nikki wouldn’t last two weeks under the glare of a national media spotlight. She’s sporting a new body spray – Southern Flop Sweat.
Will, why must you post these pictures at lunch time?
“she is continuing to march blindly in obedience to a “Republican” establishment that has created the very movement it now seeks to eliminate.”
And that “created movement” now led by Donald Trump has relegated Haley to the “back of the bus” or maybe even “under the bus.”
When the political philosophy of the group that you are representing can not be distinguished from that of your competitor, you should be in trouble.
Great interview. Haley is not blindly following the establishment. She is leading in a new and positive direction. She will be in the perfect position to pick up the pieces of a party that Trump has shattered. Will is struggling along with a crippled website in a small state, while Haley is appearing on national networks as the voice of the opposition to Trump.
You don’t become a successful leader by pandering to populism. When Trump crashes and burns, who else will be in a better position to lead the party. Everything is going perfectly to plan for Haley. Unfortunately the country will go through hell before that happens with Clinton of Trump.
Hey…your tinfoil hat is showing…
Thank you Cuck Rogers in the 21st century.
Yeh your boy Rubio is a real “savior.”
Boy did you Republicns screw up choosing this kid to be “the next big thing.”
Gives new meaning to the term,”empty suit.”
He’s going nowhere.Theres nothing to him,
“You don’t become a successful leader by pandering to populism.”
Really? Isn’t that how people get elected? You know, pandering to a majority?
It seems to me that that’s the only way to be “successful” when running for an elected office.(if you measure success as being elected or re-elected that is)
The Only People who would imagine that she has any capability to do Anything on a national level are people who actually Know Nothing About Her!
AMEN, AMEN & AMEN !!
The more positive things said about Nikki usually come from those far away from SC. The closer you get to home, the less rosy the assessments of her tenure in office, her ethical standing, and prospects for a future on the national stage.
Oh where oh where will lil miss bamberg go when she must find a job once again?
Perhaps she will call Sara Palin to ask for the return of her $ 50,000 ….
She is currently reading “How To Avoid Slipping Into Lifelong Obscurity”, by Judge Joseph Crater…..
cum sucking Haley lies much it becomes a punch line in a joke when she accidentally tells the truth. The new intro song for Haley is “Send in the Clowns!”
It will be a sad day when Michael has to become the bread winner.
“Of course the real story here isn’t Haley’s slip of the tongue. ”
Well, a long time ago that used to be the story- in fact, someone was gonna write a book about it.
very good!
Haley, you are one to be talking about runing something. …you brought companies her with corporate welfare. ..you let the hospital close in Barnwell, you sold the middle class out and are a disgrace to this state.
I see she’s in Atlanta today. Makes me nervous. Didn’t she give away a port the last time she was in Georgia! ?! Wonder what she’s giving away now!?!
Fort Sumter…………
Is she dealing for a speaking spot on the podium at the Rep. Convention?
What a dumb response Haley gave. She sure is a bimbo!
Does she study that Kumasatra?
Haley is a proven fuck up. She doesn’t know how to run a god damn thing. But being I am bisexual, I think she can do something that will put a smile on my face.
She’s a fucking witch.
Nimrata Randawha, just use your real name. “Nikki”….
Nikki had an opportunity while at Clemson for a life changing event which would have kept her from going into politics.
