No one challenging Sanford in the Republican primary has the chance of a snowball in global-warming-Hell unless they are also opposed to seismic testing and drilling for oil and gas off the South Carolina coast. Sanford has seen the light on this issue, as his constituents have made clear.

Andre is crooked as a snake. I understand that when he had his airplane crash, ruled pilot error by the FAA, he tried to sue the owner of the plane for his injuries. He is not well liked in parts of Newberry County because of the shameless manufactured allegations he helped push on a popular local Magistrate so one of Andre’s Merry Men could take that office over.
That said, I would almost be tempted to vote him over Cryin, Snot-blowing, Mark or Lying, Weeping, Jenny. At least he’d be a fresh crook in that seat until the next “choice” between a turd and a piece of shit comes along in two more years.
All that said, if I lived in the First Congressional District, I would be tempted to petition the government to delete that seat due to a chronic lack of viable candidates running for it.
