The Alaska paper has more details. They had been drinking and arguing about her communicating with an ex-boyfriend and he accused her of going to leave him stranded at his sister’s place. Then they drove to Sarah’s house and that’s where the brawl took place. The arguing continued, she elbowed him the face and he punched her in the eye – she fell to the floor, he kicked her and smashed her phone. At some point he places the barrel of a gun up to his head and says you don’t think I’ll do it? She scrambles out of the house and finds another phone to use, then hides under a bed. Cops show up find him outside and he is hostile & belligerent so he is cuffed. His BAC was .189.
Cruz is gonna have a field day with this.
