Actually I’m a big fan of women’s volleyball (college level) and track and field. And I like shooting sports (I was on a military marksmanship team and worked my up to compete nationally and am a proud recipient of the “Govenor’s 20” tab) I still compete in Practical Shooting matches (if ammo ain’t sky high due to dumb-assed paranoid rightwing nuts are hording ammo – that is)
And yes, college and professional football has become totally out of control. Look at the shit going on around you for crying out loud, shitloads of college “bowls” featuring mediocre teams, scandal after scandal, people looking the other way because the coach is raping little boys and they don’t want to see their dynasty crumble

To top it off, you throw out a ridiculous, broad generalization about coaches raping little boys. Where in the hell did you get that? Jerry Sandusky is in jail and he wasn’t a coach when he was committing his crimes. Regardless, his despicable acts have nothing to do with college football or even the Penn State program. The most egregious part of that situation was that the players and new coaching staff had to pay the price for that situation, even though none of them had anything to do with it, when the perpetrator and those complicit in the crime were gone or in jail.

Pay attention to the news dude….just about every week there’s some player getting suspended after numerous infractions on and off the field and that’s because the coaching staff/athletic department looks the other way until it gets so bad they have to suspend the kid.. And why is that??? Because they don’t want anything to cast aspersions on their football program that’s fucking what.
