Politics as usual. And another ethically-challenged action by Christie.
Made me recall the time he took a state helicopter to his kid’s baseball game.
And, Mark Sanford sandwiching hair cuts and kid’s soccer games in while out on the state plane making ‘official’ trips.
Not a Mark Sanford fan, but I can tell you I have seen him at numerous kids’ sporting events over the years. Part of the perk package of being Governor is use if the state plane to get to personal (family) events as well as official trips.
Just another instance of him not being a fiscal conservative and turning down an expensive, optional perk.

But see, after he loses the nomination fight, and next year is his last in Trenton – the next three years – fatty gonna be flyin’ coach Newark to O’Hare and taking the 2 plus hour traffic jam to exciting Indiana.
I’m not a fan of Christie, but good for him if he can avoid the freaking disaster that is O’Hare.
