Russell is a sane conservative, not by any means a liberal.

In addition to his personal issues, Hardwick was one of several lawmakers dogged by the “Coastal Kickback,” a brazen pay-to-play scam in which hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign cash were funneled through a fabricated network of corporations to select politicians in exchange for their support of a local tax hike.

You sure made Fits look like a clown on this story.

If you think I was ever a primary source for either WIll or TSN for info on that very real federal probe, you’re pathetically delusional. My knowledge was extremely limited but quite specific. As it turned out, I wasn’t even the primary source for that bit of it.

Did the investigation get shut down?

Maybe.

Was it reopened?

Again, maybe.

Well see, chump. We’ll see.

Standard MO in Kakkalina. Nobody ever really cleans house. State house employees are constantly subjected to old geezers groping and catcalls. These f:cks still think they are in junior high.

Ethics Reform……coming in 2020….at the earliest given the dysfunction of the Legislatures.

I have a hard time believing that Hardwick made any overture to any staff member. I believe he was set up. He isn’t a Golden Gloves guy, no one is in that legislature; however, he’s in greater moral standing than the AG and a few others. So be it. He has a lawyer, and has filed a countersuit. Meanwhile, amazing about the campaign funds and so forth. After reading other stories by the Post and Courier and Sun News, I believe that only the citizens who paid for all this via tax dollars are the only ones who haven’t profited from these illegal deals. Corruption runs deep and broad.
