It will not change. The Democrats will continue to push the Republicans into the corner with the threat of a “Government Shutdown.” The MSM has been and is solidly with the Democrat party camp and is acting as a PR firm for them.
It will only change when the voters begin to recognize the ineffectiveness of the legislative branch of our Federal government.
The Republicans have a memory of losing these PR battles throughout the Obama administration and will continue to cave.
You can’t blame Democrats for government shutdowns if Republican politicians brag about doing it and their voters squeal with glee every time it is done.
Maybe because it’s recognized for what it really, a scare tactic. We all know that a government “shutdown” is not really a shutdown at all.
