GOTTA LOVE THE PARTY OF “LESS GOVERNMENT”
By a 316-113 vote, the “Republican” U.S. House of Representatives has passed a $1.1 trillion spending bill that effectively rubber stamps president Barack Obama‘s radical agenda – and blows past modest spending caps agreed upon back in 2011.
Wait … why did America elect “Republicans” again?
Good question …
As U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona (one of the GOP lawmakers who voted against this abomination) wrote yesterday, “Republicans have been elected around the country on the simple promise of reducing spending and the size of the federal government.”
Did they do that? No. In fact they are spending $50 billion more than what they promised they would spend after passing an already weak “deficit reduction” agreement back in August of 2011.
And the bill was pushed by U.S. Speaker Paul Ryan – who was elected two months ago after another liberal GOP leader, John Boehner, resigned.
So … what was the point of getting rid of Boehner again?
There wasn’t …
The new boss is (much to our chagrin) the same as the old boss.
“I wish I could put all the blame on big spending Democrats, liberals who seek to bankrupt our nation and others who are ignorant of the fiscal crisis within which we live,” Gosar wrote. “But I can’t. Congress is controlled by Republicans. So, this massive and wasteful spending bill is on Republican leadership—who continues the pattern I have seen for five years now.”
Among South Carolina “Republicans,” U.S. Reps. Jeff Duncan, Trey Gowdy, Mick Mulvaney and Mark Sanford voted against the bill. Longtime liberal GOP House members Joe Wilson and Tom Rice voted for it.
Rice, of course, is the guy S.C. governor Nikki Haley endorsed back in 2012 – hailing him as someone who would “do the right thing” for taxpayers in Washington, D.C.
Yeah …
Anyway, the House measure will now be voted on by the “Republican” Senate – which is all but assured of passing it. At that point it will be signed by Obama – and the ass-raping of taxpayers will continue unabated.

Speaker RINO is more like it.
Wilson’s ignorant ass is toast.
Who is going to run against him ?
At this point I don’t care, I’ll vote for who ever it is.
My time has come again!
ALVIN GREENE IS ON THE SCENE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_prNM4QxF8E
Dirty Pete?
Who in the deleted expletive is Pete?
Pete Rose
Give me a freakin break
lol….
He loves Ohio losers, maybe a kindred spirit thing? Flip wants Pete in the HoF but will then post something about Democrats don’t have personal responsibility or morals.
Once again you show your ignorance.Pete did his time. Was held personally responsible for his actions.
His hit record will never be broken and didn’t take illegal drugs to set the record.
Rose is being kept out of the HOF by your liberal friends that still blame him for the high blood pressure, drunken, fat ass, chain smoking Bart Giamatti’s death.
He’s also known as Flip, Tango and “This Comment Deleted”
He is?
Riiiiiiiiiiiiight
A sitting congressman is going to be defeated in his primary.
Bob Inglis’s don’t happen very often.
If he isn’t defeated it won’t be for a lack of effort on my part. I will admit to having supported his goofy ass in the past but I’m done with him.
I am trying to figure out WHY you are angry with Wilson for voting for this budget when you sided with Obama,Farakkan,Sharpton,Jackson and the Democrat Party for the removal of the confederate flag?
Obama holds all the cards right now,He wants a government shutdown to deflect from the fact the American people view him as a traitor today.
A Republican President and everything can be reversed.Obamacare is dying a slow death and Amnesty will NEVER happen.
I’m trying to figure out why you were allowed near keyboard.
I didn’t figure you could defend your treasonous and cowardly surrender to the racist/socialists of the Democrat Party on the confederate flag issue.
Why are you surprised your elected officials would do the same when most those that elect them are gutless and don’t stand for a damn thing?
There was nothing treasonous about my decision to support taking the Confederate flag down. I never swore allegiance to that state and hence could have not committing treason against it. For any number of years I actively supported the flag where it was I have simply come to the point in my life where I realized it was doing more harm than good.
lol…you actively supported the flag (like Haley) until it wasn’t politically convenient or more likely in your case you wanted to be liked by liberals.Made you feel good on campus to be politically correct?
Why are you people still going back and forth with pogo/flip/whatever?
And you will again.
You’re one of the Biggest Right Wing goofs on this site and you will vote STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN just like you ALWAYS do.
So cram your self righteous blathering !
Hold on there Bozo! We can take our own to the woodshed however when you American hating, radical Islamist supporting perverts attack a Godly veteran like The Colonel, we will defend his honor.
Run along.Obama is getting ready to tell the nation he didn’t know how bad ISIS was because he wasn’t watching cable tv.
Yeh right.
He will be OVERWHELMINGLY reelected because he will have the “R” by his name.
Wait!
Are you so DAMN DUMB as to believe Wilson will lose a Republican Primary?
Hahahahaha!
We’ll see what we see.
This bill allows the FBI to gather your digital information without warrant and deprives citizens of due process.
Be sure to thank your congressmen
Careful, don’t want to find yourself the victim of a no-knock raid from our glorious protectors.
I’m sure they’re worried about you or any other loser commenting here. At least, PP is still fully funded.
It’s called COMPROMISE. That’s how democracies function. Neither side got all they wanted. The GOP got more tax breaks for the rich and corporate “fat cats” (their holy grail) and benefits for their oil industry “sugar daddies.” They’re happy.
We aren’t a “democracy”, we’re a representative republic and the only representation they’re fulfilling is that of the whims of the Chamber of Commerce and Nancy Pelosi. She was thrilled of the bill by the way and told her colleagues the dems got just about everything they wanted.
Spot on bro.
The GOP needs to win the Presidency because they’ve shown that when they control Congress and the Presidency they are serious about not overspend….. Nevermind.
It’s okay though, Cheney tells me deficits don’t matter. He never let me get that pony I wanted though.
Wilson and Rice should put a refugee camp on their estates with the earmarked funds so they can get the most of the vibrancy being brought to our yankee occupied colony. Diversity is our strength. Islam is peace.
Bill also contains a $390 earmark for a new FBI headquarters even though the “old” one is only a few years old. I’m done. Unless Ronald Reagan is cloned and runs for office, I’m never voting again.
$390 for a new FBI Hq. sounds reasonable. Must be a freaking LEGO set.
Reagan would be a Democrat today. The wingnut Trump supporters would run him out of the GOP if his clone showed up.
Actually Reagan was much more conservative than Trump on the issues of abortion, gays and foreign policy.
Gun control and immigration alone would sink him with you nutters.
Speaking of Democrats pretending to be Republicans….Trump is doing a wonderful job of suckering you guys. Hillary especially appreciates all that Trump and his supporters have done for her campaign.
I am guessing that 390 mil is the street tax to keep the Feds from investigating them. We keep buying you a new house you leave us alone. Everybody wins.
Twas the week before Christmas
and all through the land
The House was a voting
On principal would they stand?
With a bill full of goodies for young girls and boys
their promises of conservatism were all just noise
They spent all our money and continued to spend
with all of the money that China would lend.
On Duncan and Mick, on Mark and on Trey
Dragging Wilson and Rice and Ol’Enos behind your sleigh
And I heard them exclaim as they were drug out of sight
We’re just a bunch of RINOS and not up for a fight
Mery Christmas!!!
Looks like Republicans don’t give a shit about the national debt anymore. Deficits really don’t matter now! HAHAHA!!!!!
They never did. They just want the PERCEPtiON to do that they do.To find a GOP President that had smaller collective deficits than the Democrat he succeeded, you would have to go back to the 1920’s.
A big disappointment, but $1.5 trillion is enough to buy off all the scoundrels. These SC representatives who voted for this bill should put out of office.
Wilson and Rice should be voted out of office.
I ask my question once again. When we elect Dims. they act like Dims. When we elect Republicans the get to Washington and start acting like Dims. WHY? Why won’t Republicans at all levels of govt. act like what we elected ? They give US a line about fiscal conservatism but as soon as they can they revert to tax and spend liberals. Is there something in the DC water or what ?
No, the Republicans realize either before or after they get to Washington, how full of shit the platform they ran on was.
It was effective, but full of shit.
I guess that is why they own the senate, house, governorships and state legislatures.
Shit is on your face.
Two of the four is due to gerrymandering. The first one is a quite tenuous hold.
Shit is in your skull.
Because nobody really believes all that corny Right Wing crap except ignorant clowns like you.
I enjoy the way these Republcan politicos use dumbasses like you.
It’s funny as Hell.
Now go to the polls next year and pull that “R” lever!
Hahahahaha!
Damn right we will.Evil must be defeated,The Democrat Party is as bad as ISIS and the party needs to be exterminated.Ugly hearts and ugly people that despise America.
ISIS doesn’t even abort babies and sell the baby parts for profit like the Democrat Party supported Planned Parenthood.

It was a very good year.
Obama has tried to destroy America:
1.The Left is following the inescapable logic of its fundamental rejection of human nature and common sense. Obama’s active support, our elites are now determined to make us all cooperate in same-sex “marriage,” to accept a radical redefinition of gender, and to pay for other people’s contraceptives and elective abortions. Freedom of speech, religious liberty, the rights of conscience, and even intelligible grammar and clear thought, must all be sacrificed to the gods of sexual liberation. Prognosis: sustained unpleasantness, with a chance of civil unrest.
2. A nuclear Iran. Supporters of Obama’s controversial Iran nuclear deal argue that it has bought us ten years — a decade for Israel to figure out how to defend itself against a nuclear-armed theocracy bent on its destruction.
3. A flat-lined “recovery.” Job growth remains so weak that our definition of what constitutes a “recovery” has been redefined downward. We’re generating a mere 230,000 new non-farm jobs a month — too few to achieve escape velocity. Although Democrats are celebrating the fall of headline unemployment below 5 percent, the real unemployment rate is closer to 10 percent. Labor-force participation is historically low. Real wage growth is stalled. The stock market is essentially flat. The Fed has held interest rates at zero percent for seven years now, flooding the economy with cheap money; and while it is teasing markets with hints of a rate hike, under current conditions that could easily kill off what “recovery” there is. Prognosis: continued malaise, with a chance of recession.
4. Higher energy costs. On its way out the door, the Obama EPA has finalized an ambitious trio of massive environmental regulations aimed at winning its war on coal, war on carbon, and war on ponds and ditches. If the costly new rules aren’t stopped, U.S. coal-fired power plants, and affordable energy prices, can be expected to undergo manmade extinction. Prognosis: the chills.
5.Health care despair. Economists are predicting large increases in ObamaCare premiums and deductibles for 2016 and 2017. In a normal insurance market, premiums and deductibles move in opposite directions. That’s no longer the case under the ironically named, and still unpopular, Affordable Care Act. Meanwhile, enrollment in Obamacare seems to have leveled off and the exchanges show signs of having entered a death spiral. Twelve of 23 non-profit co-ops in the exchanges have gone belly up. This month UnitedHealthcare, the nation’s largest insurer, announced it has lost so much money on Obamacare, it will pull out of the program altogether unless it receives a multi-billion-dollar bailout.
To be continued.

Leave my country POS.
Suggest another lever. Dumbass.
The republicans you mention have been gone 20 to 30 years, you can’t be that slow Rouge.
There are still a few. Ted Cruz is a good example. A lot of them go good for about two terms then sell out. Another reason for term limits, which will never happen. Sad.
It is sad, it’s like they are all the same no matter the party. I’ve voted for the one I think would not go to war the last 2 times. Proberly the same this time around. As far as SC goes it really doesn’t matter. The corruption is concrete.
Star Wars will probably net more than this in sales.
Tom Rice says he’s a “Lindsay Graham Republican”: https://www.conservativereview.com/members/tom-rice/
Would you rather have had Boz’s candidate-Marxixt/Green Peace Gloria Tinabu? She was so radical they ran her out of Atlanta.
I will vote for anybody against Tom Rice just to get him out of there & try again in 18. Tommy’s voting no different than Tinabu would have.
Bleating from the cheap seats. The massive huge gargantuan omnibus is an *omnibus*. Maybe there’s been a petite omnibus passed at some point and I just missed it.
Welcome to the two-party system. Evidently you were unaware.
Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are happier than “pigs in shit.” And if ask why they are, well they are pigs in shit, literally.
Seriously, in interviews today, they said this bill had everything they wanted and needed. The Republicans caved to the Democrats. Why did the Republicans cave? It is getting to near year’s end and the Democrats knew the Republicans must pass a bill or get accused of shutting down the government. The Democrats had nothing to lose. The Republicans would be portrayed in the MSM as being stubborn and not doing the best for this country. The Democrats could remain in a non-negotiations state and not even “give” on any issues and they would not be blamed for any discourse within the legislative branch.
It won’t change as long as the MSM remains firmly in the camp of the Democrats.
Ol’ Slimebaugh’s gnashing away on this one.

UPDATE:THE HILL – Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) missed Friday’s Senate vote approving a massive $1.8 trillion end-of-the-year spending bill and tax package — a day after he suggested that he would try to slow the legislation down.
The Florida Republican, who is running for president, was the only 2016 contender to miss the vote, which is the Senate’s final vote of the year.
Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), three other presidential candidates, all voted against the the legislation.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a fourth GOP presidential candidate from the Senate, backed the bill. Tim Scott voted against it.
If the Republicans are such great leaders, why are the poorest states in our union completely Republican Run, such as Mississippi and Alabama?
So is the new debt up to $19.6 trillion? We’re getting closer and closer to that ‘default’ level ;D
Out of 246 Republicans in the US House, 150 voted for this bill.
Obviously, the Republicans who voted against it, just like Donald Trump’s Silent ‘Majority’, are in actuality a MINORITY of their party.
What kind of ignorance, stupidity or mental disorder enables people to deceive themselves like this in the face of cold, hard numbers?
You damn Libertarians, you, the actual RINOs, ought to get to hell out of the Republican Party and run under the name of what you are.
Show you’ve got some REAL guts…but, hey, you know you reduce your chances of getting a government paycheck if you do that.
Losers AND hypocrites, thy name is Libertarian.
Yo…SC U.S. House delegation (except Jeff Duncan) remember your gutless butt-kissing of RINO Boehner and now of RINO Ryan?
Don’t look now but those tattered, bleeding rear ends you see ARE your own—and the Tea Train that’s rolling over you is the lion
That’s right—you backed ole Back-Door-Agreements-With-Obama-Ryan like Boehner and in 2016 don’t forget payback is coming
No-no—you are NOT paranoid—that IS your political funeral dirge that’s playing and that long Tea Train is doing the drumming !!!
