WILL STATE LEADERS LISTEN?
Opponents of a controversial refugee resettlement program are urging South Carolina’s leaders to push the “PAUSE” button. And yes, because those letters are capitalized you’re in store for a nifty acronym …
“P” stands for “pause the program,” which is what U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy suggested back in the spring (shortly after this website exposed the inner workings of this government-subsidized scam).
“A” stands for a requested “audit” of the program – although at this point it’s abundantly clear what’s going on. Federal tax dollars are being routed through liberal foundations to bring these refugees to America – at which point state and local taxpayers must provide for them.
“U” stands for “uncover” – as in uncovering the role of the United Nations in the program. This is obviously tied more toward national security concerns over the UN’s vetting procedures (or lack thereof).
“S” stands for “suspend” – as in suspending the flow of tax dollars toward resettlement efforts. Palmetto state budget writers tried to do that earlier this year, but S.C. governor Nikki Haley overruled them).
“E,” the last letter, stands for “explore” – as in exploring other options.
We support the “PAUSE.” In fact we’ve been calling for a halt to this program for months – arguing that such compulsory compassion is not something this country (and certainly not this state) can afford. For our latest coverage of the issue, click here.

Conservatives and libertarians hail the poor fighting each other for breadcrumbs as a crowning achievement of capitalism, struggling their hardest to accept even harder work, even longer hours, even worse conditions, for even less pay, so that the “other guy” doesn’t get it and put them out on the street.

That’s because the people who own orchards do not want to pay shit for hard labor. They prefer to pay the wages demanded by undocumented immigrants who work for less than minimum wage and no benefits and can’t report their employer for abuse because they would be deported.
But start prosecuting companies who hire illegals, and you will see how fast those jobs start paying enough for Americans to take them.

So the answer to the pyramid scheme that might be our Social Security program is to breed more and more babies (also known as uterine roulette, where you keep playing until you get a tard, a’la’ Sarah Palin), or to bring in more and more non-productive minorities who drain the welfare systems, clog up our courts and jails, and bring general surliness and unpleasantness wherever they might be found in large numbers. Gee, thanks, but no thanks.
Lemme see, praying five times a day come hell or high water plus demanding special accommodations for those prayers once their numbers reach a certain level, does not equal productivity. That is why about the only thing of value islamic countries produce is oil, and that is not truly something they make, but a substance found naturally in the ground.

The “U” in PAUSE should stand for unconstitutional. As in, it’s unconstitutional for the States to tell the Federal Government what to do on immigration. Do to your question at the top: “Will State Leaders Listen?” I don’t know, but a simple answer is: It does not matter whether they do or not because they weren’t elected by a majority of the Electoral College and don’t have Article II power to enforce the laws (which include the Refugee Act of 1980).
