Despite all the disinformation, Will is an unsung hero in Carolina.
I give Will credit. He reminds me of an Ohio State or Boston Celtic or Green Bay Packer fan.Always staying loyal even in difficult times.

Being a fan brings out the dumbest in most people. Every bad decision your school makes gets excused or painted in the rosiest light possible, with overwhelming optimism. Meanwhile, any successes by rival schools are thoroughly marginalized and made out to be temporary. I’m a USC alum and diehard supporter, but that doesn’t change the fact that Muschamp was a bad hire. Nor does it change the fact that Clemson may very well turn out to be a legit Nat’l Champion. Muschamp MAY turn out to be a good hire and Clemson MAY turn out to be a fraud, but declaring either one of those with certitude is nothing but wishful thinking replacing rational thinking.

Two branches of the Nick Saban coaching tree have branched out, one of them for the first time, the other for his second shot as a head coach.
Kirby Smart will be the rookie boss at Georgia, once he’s finished helping Alabama try to win another national title, while Will Muschamp gets to show South Carolina how much he learned at Florida.
Which one of them is more likely to still be in that job five years from now?
Both of them are proven recruiters, which is Job One in college football these days for a head coach. Two examples: Smart was able to keep highly touted high school quarterback Jacob Eason committed to Georgia. Muschamp just signed highly touted junior college cornerback Jamarcus King.
But becoming a successful SEC head coach involves more than recruiting. It also includes hiring the right coaching staff and support personnel and managing them properly. There’s also game-planning and game-day decision-making and so many other details to handle.
Muschamp had one big year at Florida, going 11-2 in 2012, but he couldn’t keep the Gators at that level. He was fired two years later, then spent this season working for Gus Malzahn at Auburn.
Smart has been a vital part of the most consistently successful program in the country in the last decade, but the buck didn’t stop at his desk. It does now.
Can Smart take Georgia from winning games to winning championships? If 9-10 victories a year weren’t enough for Mark Richt to keep his job, what will be required of Smart to stick around? Can Muschamp get South Carolina to the SEC Championship Game when Steve Spurrier did it only once? Can Coach Boom take the state back from Dabo Swinney and Clemson?
Can Smart and Muschamp, along with Florida’s Jim McElwain, make the SEC East something other than the West’s weaker little brother?
The smart money would be on Smart to have more long-term success, given Georgia’s powerful recruiting base in its home state, but there’s no way to know for sure what any young head coach’s future holds.
I thought Muschamp would get it done at Florida.
Don’t worry Fits….I’ve been watching the FGF boards for weeks and coot fans have been some of the harshest critics (rightly so) of everything from Spurrier leaving the football program a dumpster fire to the clusterphuck that was the coaching hire process to all the de-commits to everything inbetween.
They have been remorseless in their savage assaults on Tanner and Co. and lobbied very hard against BOOM. Now, slowly the wheels are turning in support of him as they come to grips with the train wreck their future has become.
BTW..Clemson is playing in the college playoff everyone as the number one team in the country….check your local listings.
