JEFF DUNCAN ESCAPES HEAD-ON COLLISION WITH MINOR INJURIES
U.S. Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina was involved in a head-on car crash in Tucson, Arizona this weekend. Duncan was in the Copper State to attend a forum on national security issues when the accident took place.
According to an update posted to his Facebook page, he was “in the back seat of the car (a Cube) driving from the airport to the hotel” when he and his party “were involved in a head-on accident when another car turned in front of us at a light.”
Despite having a nine-stitch gash to his shin and badly bruised sternum, the third-term lawmaker fired off a picture from the back of the ambulance (above).
“My first and hopefully only ambulance ride!” he noted.
A rumored candidate for governor in 2018, Duncan has represented South Carolina’s predominantly rural third congressional district in the U.S. Congress since 2011.
We’re glad he’s okay and wish everyone involved in the accident a speedy recovery.

So he was on a taxpayer funded junket, got it.
The US House will have 111 work days next year.
And, they won’t be having weekly – hell, they could have twice weekly – town halls with their constituents to find out what they’re thinking.
They will be, as you say, on junkets and fund raising outside of their home state.
111 days? Obama works 365 days a year to destroy America. I feel your pain.
Yawn!!!! Get some new material.
GrandTango and I squeeze into the same sleeping bag when we go to sleep on FITS. LMAO!!!
I like his upbeat attitude…
How long before Boz ‘the buzzman’ Martin accuses him of driving drunk like he apparently did the mayor of Myrtle Beach?????
“No, I’m not resigning,” Rhodes said. “I really have no comment on Mr. Martin’s State of the Boz address.”
The community has been buzzing for the past week about the wreck that involved Rhodes, which led Rhodes to discuss the issue on a local morning radio show on April 6.
Martin said Rhodes had tried to hide that he was in a wreck that Martin said people had speculated involved driving under the influence – which Rhodes said isn’t true. Martin, who told the council Tuesday that he had never stated any of the information as fact, said he came to Tuesday’s meeting because he couldn’t respond on the radio to the criticisms Rhodes made of him on that radio show.
Rhodes said he was in a wreck in Aynor as he was driving a rental car to a meeting in Columbia, but he was not at fault. A copy of the accident report was not available late Tuesday.
“Mr. Martin seems to think it was a coverup because I didn’t call a press conference,” Rhodes said after the meeting. “What, am I supposed to hold a press conference to say I had a wreck?”

You know you’ve made when your limo is a Cube.
Did he have an Uber driver —- or one with 15 consonants in his name?
Did the other driver yell, “…à la snackbar!” ??
From the photo, it appears to be a rhombohedron now.
Glad he is ok. Hope everyone else is.
Man, his personal Facebook page sure has some jingoism going on.
Duncan said Monday—hey thank God I’m okay and you all should
never, ever forget if you please
What I just experienced will seem like a warm Spring picnic
compared to what’s in store for these…
Yo…SC U.S. House delegation (except Jeff Duncan) remember your gutless butt-kissing of RINO Boehner and now of RINO Ryan?
Don’t look now but those tattered, bleeding rear ends you see ARE your own—and the Tea Train that’s rolling over you is the lion
That’s right—you backed ole Back-Door-Agreements-With-Obama-Ryan like Boehner and in 2016 don’t forget payback is coming
No-no—you are NOT paranoid—that IS your political funeral
dirge that’s playing and that long-running Tea Train is doing the drumming !!!
