There is a large backlash against cyclists in the Upstate, mostly from fatasses such as Wendy Nanney who are too lazy to go out and get some exercise. They seem to enjoy passing too close to riders and love to complain about any slight inconvenience a biker may occasionally pose.
She caved and dropped it. Not impressive. While I realize not all bicyclists are this way, a large number of them act like entitled twits on the road. Riding along at 15-20 MPH, and acting oblivious to the line of cars backed up behind you while in a 30, 35, 45MPH, zone or worse is a very common behavior. One of the more detestable thinks Marky Sanford did to the state while Governor, was to pass the law regarding bicyclists “rights” (with damn little or nothing said about their responsibilities).
Their entitled behavior seems to carry over to their operation of motor vehicles, too. A couple of weeks ago,

This makes sense. She did insist on keeping up the battle flag and her father did fight against MLK day in Greenville pretty hard. Can’t wait to see her go!
Is someone running against her? And do they even have a chance? And are they less extreme than she is?
My guess is at least one of those answers is ‘No’.

It does not endorse candidates, but instead “works to educate voters on issues that affect them, their families, and their liberty.”
Had to throw that in to keep that tax exempt status. We’ll tell you who votes and thinks the way we do, and if you support that person’s positions come election time, well then…
Yup, it’s all about education, you betcha. And “voting guides” passed out at church the Sunday before the election are educational too. And no, youth pastors showing up at lunch time at schools isn’t about proselytizing either (please ignore our strategic plan where it says it is). Pass the 501C form please.
Nanney, we taxpayers are just as pleased as we could be that our tax dollars are paying your salary. What a great service you provide our community.
