INVESTIGATION INTO EX-LAWMAKER REPORTEDLY WRAPPING UP
Prosecutors are nearing a decision about whether to charge former S.C. Rep. Nelson Hardwick with criminal harassment charges, sources familiar with the investigation tell FITS.
As we exclusively reported back in May, Hardwick resigned his seat in the S.C. House of Representatives after he was accused of harassing multiple women. Hardwick later attempted to rescind his resignation, but legislative leaders were having none of it.
His seat was filled by another left-leaning “Republican” – Russell Fry – in a special election earlier this year.
So far Hardwick has avoided any criminal charges in connection with his alleged “inappropriate behavior,” but that could be changing soon …
We know there’s been an extensive investigation into the allegations that led to his resignation, and we’re told that probe is coming to a head.
Stay tuned. As soon as we hear anything definitive about this case, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

Nelson Hardwick sexually harrassed numerous women and was constantly drunk. Can you imagine what it must be like to be his wife and kids? Everyone loudly discussing what a drunk criminal perv the head of ur household is? I may rather live in prison than with my wife after I cheated on her so many times. Lock the bastard up!
We don’t have enough prisons to lock up all of the degenerate, habitually drunk, sexual harassing politicos in this state.
I’d gladly pay higher taxes to make room for more.
???
How is Russell Fry a left leaning Republican? He hasn’t voted on anything yet. You need to ice up, Sic Willie. You’re getting soft.
He’s probably trusting Mande on this. Mande doesn’t really know Russell. She was just for somebody else. Love her, and sometimes she’s right on the money, to the point of brilliance. But other times she’s dumb as a stump in her obsessive adherence to certain unrealistic expectations of absolute fidelity to libertarian ideals.
Nobody measures up to those delusional ideals. NOBODY.
See Will’s long, long list of heroes that have not measured up to them, to see what I mean. They have to get elected. Ron Paul is the exception in being a libertarian with staying power. But he is the exception that proves the rule, in that his son has had to deviate a great deal from “libertarian ideological perfection” to be anything like a contender. Thus winding up, most of the time, on Will’s shit list.
