Everyone in Lexington government is now fully consumed by the drama surrounding the coroner’s cat.
Its stupid, but at least it isn’t costing us millions in wasted tax dollars.
Also – for what its worth, I think anyone that deals with dead bodies all day can have a cat.

These chambers of commerce are all useless and don’t add anything of value. The dues rise each year and meetings are just awful. Any business spending money on chamber memberships anywhere must have money to toss away. It’s ironic that Halfacre elected mayor running against the hospitality tax and then at chamber got sucked into supporting tax agenda of that uber liberal moron mayor MacDougal and rest of the town council idiots because they funded his “visitors center” each year. Mergo’s shenanigans and Jeffcoat after the coroner’s cat is far more interesting and Frazier, Metts, Halfacre and crew are old news.

But it’s much easier to get things approved to get built if you belong to the chamber.
