It is curious that the press didn’t ask why she was MIA. I recall the NJ press blasting Christie for being at Disney World when they had a huge snow storm to contend with one year.

This might be a thing is she didn’t already declare a state of emergency for the state activating the National Guard and putting in motion all the people and things that actually do the work in an emergency.
So, she probably should have stayed, but she was all over it by getting ahead of things.

You know Nikki getting the big bucks from the PACs, and the fawning accolades of the other governors and the political operatives furthers her national ambitions. And of course, you realize that she will use the realization of those ambitions for the benefit of our beautiful state, and not for herself, her family, and her cronies.
