I hope we wind up losing a lot of long-term incumbents over the next two elections, whether voluntary drop outs, due to the flag fiasco (both sides), or just plain replaced by someone new and not yet as corrupted.

Cleary just got tired of being Leatherman’s butt boy. Same with Thurmond, etc. No real man with balls would wiliingly get themselves elected to the Senate and then offer them up to the Senate’s god and master, Senator Leatherman.
