|| By FITSNEWS || Are your elected representatives in Washington, D.C. on board with mass government surveillance? Or do they support individual liberty?
The groups – Restore The Fourth and Fight for the Future – have launched a new website entitled Decide The Future in an effort to help you find out.
“The Internet and the power it gives us has changed the course of history, but runaway governments and monopolies are turning the Internet against us for power and profit,” the website noted. “Their biggest move yet: passing the surveillance bill CISA, this week. We can stop an Internet for evil, but it’s now or never.”
The website tracks the voting records of U.S. Representatives and Senators on surveillance-related legislation dating back to 2012.
“We wanted to develop something simple and easy that would allow users to quickly see which politicians oppose mass surveillance, and who’s working to expand the surveillance state” said Alex Marthews, national chair of Restore The Fourth.
How did the Palmetto State delegation fare on the report cards?
According to the website, U.S. Reps. Jeff Duncan, Tom Rice and Mark Sanford earned “A+” grades. Reps. Mick Mulvaney and Jim Clyburn got “A’s,” while Trey Gowdy received an “A-.”
At the other end of the spectrum, liberal U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson received a “D+,” while U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott both received “D” grades.

I would guess the scores would be reversed if they were graded on fighting terrorism.
