POVERTY PIMPIN’ IS EASY …

|| By FITSNEWS || In the aftermath of the Confederate flag saga, S.C. governor Nikki Haley‘s new “best friend forever” Jesse Jackson is setting up camp.

The Greenville, S.C. native – who leads the uber-liberal Rainbow/ PUSH coalition – is opening offices in Columbia, Charleston and his former hometown.

“Just what dirt poor South Carolina needs – a full-time communist rabble rouser with a taste for shakedown,” one national conservative activist told us. “It’s open season in the New South.”

Jackson’s priorities?  Expanded voter registration (something Haley used to oppose) and expanded government-subsidized health care (something Haley is all about).

In other words, Jackson wants more government dependents registered to vote in support of more government dependency.

Awesome, right?

Because that strategy has worked so well for America …

Nonetheless, Jackson told The (Columbia, S.C.) State newspaper that his “coalition of conscience” will help life blacks out of “the squalor of catastrophic illnesses and poverty.”

Just like U.S. president Barack Obama‘s orgy of government excess has done, right?

Right?

Err …

Even if you believe him, which I don’t, he shouldn’t have betrayed his confidence.

How about Sanford shouldn’t have let go his relationship with his wife for that woman from Argentina? Great family values there.

Looks like First Eunuch has a job waiting for him as soon as he and his wife are ushered out of the Governor’s Mansion. Surely Jesse is going to need a good towel boy when he opens his whorehouses

Now that Jackson and his Democrat cronies are comfortably on their way to destroying the city of Chicago, he can now focus his attention on spreading his infectious plague in this part of the country.

Will his hometown of Greeneville be planning a parade, giving him the key to the city and opening up another welfare ceremony for him?

Good point.. That is what concerns me, some of these people trying to compare the sixties to the present were probably not around then.
There is no reason why a person with a good attitude, proper education, and average personality should be held back these days. I think it is just ingrained in the subculture that things have not progressed.
It gets old and tiring.

I didn’t move to SC until the summer of ’72 after finishing 6th grade, so I missed that history class if it was even taught back then.

Mom September 17, 2015 at 5:02 pm

Then you’re telling me you didn’t live through the ’60s in South Carolina nor have you studied it in History books. You are no expert in the progression of civil rights in the South. Having lived through the 60s in South Carolina AND studied South Carolina History quite extensively, I can tell you things have greatly improved for women and minorities here. I’m old enough to remember when the “N” word was commonly used; when a large percentage of the black population couldn’t read or write; when women made much less than men doing the same job; when women’s employers fired them for being pregnant; when the black maid and yardman wanted to attend my grandfather’s funeral and were grateful to be allowed to sit on the back row. THINGS HAVE CHANGED! No race relations are not perfect now a days, but they are much better.

Since’ 75 Reily and Hodges account for 25% of rule and both pushed South Carolina backwards rather than leading us forward. Riley, West and McNair provided the ONLY visionary leadership to be found during their times.

Spin it anyway you want. Your “visionary leadership” comment tells it all – Reily was the worst “gubernor” we’ve had in recent history. Blacks can vote, gays can marry, old people who retire aren’t nearly as dirt poor, the government actually cares about regulating on behalf of the consumer, the worker, the environment, the disabled, and the discriminated. This is the antithesis to conservative rule.

These are mostly federal changes so I know you are making a point about South Carolina’s politics, but even if the horse won’t drink you can still tie him up next to the pond.

My point is actually HE is being racist by assuming black folks can’t do as well as white folks in the workplace. Personally, I believe he should encourage the underprivileged to get a good education and PLAN FOR THE FUTURE meaning find a career path. Most anyone can be successful if they take advantage of getting a good education, planning for the future, curbing impulsivity, and of course, sensible family planning. Why does he not stress these virtues to his audience?
