In total taxes the average Canadian pays about the same as the average American. If you consider the cost of health insurance a tax, the average Canadian pays way less than the average American.

GOA should have done some research before this endorsement. Cruz does not qualify to hold the office of President of the United States since he by definition is not a “natural born citizen” although he is an United States citizen. He was born in Canada. For him to be “natural born” both parents would have had to be U.S. citizens at the time of his birth. Unfortunately, only his mother was. His father became a U.S. citizen some time after. The only way Cruz would be qualified is if the “natural born” clause was eliminated OR people allow it because we now have a President who also does not qualify to hold the Presidential office
