|| By FITSNEWS || Last month we wrote on the impending exit of former Texas governor Rick Perry from the 2016 presidential race … adding our hope was that the crony capitalist “Republican” would drop out sooner rather than later.
A month later Perry – who stopped paying his staff last month – is somehow still campaigning, even though national surveys of GOP primary voters have him polling at 1.3 percent.
Ouch …
After a brief flirtation with frontrunner status, Perry’s 2012 bid flamed out in spectacular fashion. He vowed to run a smarter campaign this go-round … then didn’t.

Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry has shuttered his South Carolina campaign headquarters in the capital city of Columbia, his state chairman Katon Dawson confirmed Tuesday.
This comes almost a month after the Perry campaign announced that it would no longer be paying staff across the country.
Dawson attributes the move out of the building, which he provided for the Perry campaign in his retainer fee, to a “hot new client” that a realtor found for the space.

You gotta admire the sh*t-spinning ability of Dawson, the auto parts salesman turned SCGOP chairman whose claim to fame remains his on-again, off-again membership in a Columbia, S.C. whites-only country club.
We’re sure he’ll land with some other establishment “Republican” candidate (a.k.a. “hot new client”) after he finishes milking Perry for every last dime … again.

A few mornings ago, traveling south on Augusta Rd in West Cola near the Wal Mart, I found myself behind an older model, dark blue, Dodge pickup truck. There were dozens of stickers on the tailgate for Haley, Joe Wilson, and just about any and every Republican who demonstrates what is wrong with that party for multitudes of reasons. The yahoo driving it was talking on his cell phone as he exited onto I-26 from Augusta Rd. I couldn’t help but notice the strong vibes I was getting that were practically yelling in my ear, “that there is Grand Tango”.
I noted that he had some kind of specialty SC license plate but it was not a vanity or handicap plate. Unfortunately, I was not in a ]osition to write it down.
When I got home though,I noticed something…
I don’t know when I realized I was gay,
I think it was around the age of 16. It wasn’t until I turned 18 that I decided it wasn’t going to go away, and I needed to start accepting that was who I was. I got really depressed, scared, angry, and felt alone through those 2 years.
It built up so much, that I needed to do something. I remember one day flicking through the White Pages, I wasn’t really looking for a number. I was just bored. I found a telephone number under a counseling heading near the front of the book. It said “Gay and Lesbian Counseling Line… 4pm – Midnight” then the phone number. I needed to talk to someone , not friends or family… I needed to talk to someone I didn’t know, so I called the counseling line which I had found in the phone book. I remember calling all but the last digit of the phone number, and then hanging up because I was too scared – I did this 10 or more times… I didn’t know what was going to happen, I didn’t even know if I could talk to a stranger.

I think GT called Perry EXACTLY right, and he has never said Tebow would make the NFL. He desperately wants Tebow to get a shot, if I read GT right, because GT does not want to see leftwing hate and bigotry prevail.

Well, he did add millions and millions of jobs, fixed health care and the US is more respected around the world. So the only thing he missed was balancing the budget (which I see the Republicans aren’t doing either), and you can’t always insure peace after someone asshole shattered the Middle East with a stupid war.
But the jobs Obama allegedly added were in China and India…no one can afford to do business in the US….

It has been a terrible primary season for lower tier Republican hopefuls. They just can’t get an attention. Perry calls major press conference and one nineteen year old part time local radio station employee shows up and records something that never airs.
Donald Trump has reporters from all major Networks and Cable channels following him around all day and records every fart and burp and plays it on prime time newscasts.
There are more Republican candidates at the lower tiers on the polls that will soon be closing offices and saving money.
Not as long as they have a billionaire Sugar Daddy in their corner, which many do. Perry doesn’t, but even he has millions in his Super Pac. There are limitations on that money though, which prevent paying staff or office rent.

Well the connection to SC is tangential at best. The one of the party’s under investigation has a vacation home here. In any even it doesn’t matter. Christie’s campaign is as dead as Perry’s.
Also, corrupt Republican is hardly news anymore. Investigation finds a Republican who is not corrupt. Now that would be a breaking news headline.

Perry will hang on until at least one other Republican drops out. He does not want to have added to his bio that he was the first Republican to drop out of the 2016 Election.
