I actually would LOVE for Haley to get the VP nomination for the GOP.
1) She would be out of the state campaigning most of the time, and probably too busy to do much damage here.
2) Unlike the instate media, she would be put under the microscope, and either all the supposed ‘dirt’ on her would be outed or generally proven to be false.
3) If the GOP did win, at least there would be the upside that she would be gone from the Governorship.
