School choice is a tiny way of giving parents more control and government less control.
What a stupid thing to say.
Public education is just something that ensures all children have some form of education available to them. You aren’t forced to take your kids there, you can enroll them somewhere else or teach them yourself if you want.
School choice is a way for upper middle class moochers to get everyone else to pay for their child’s Cadillac schooling while the rest of the children rot in substandard schools that now have less funding but no real changes.
Could not have said it better. School choice is about a government had out for the affluent and those who want the state to pay for religious education at white flight Christian Academies. It is no wonder that the establishment candidate who represents the mega rich donor class would be looking for ways for his donors to get their hands on more taxpayer money. As though they don’t already get their hands on enough. Screw Jeb.

School choice has nothing to do with choice and does nothing to reduce government control of anything. You don’t have to use government schools. You can home school, religious school and private school all you want. No one is stopping you.
