LAURENS COUNTY SHERIFF REFUTES CONFEDERATE FLAG RUMORS …

|| By FITSNEWS ||  On Sunday afternoon shortly after 4:50 p.m. EDT, 55-year-old David Roy Anderson was filling up his Ford F-150 at a convenience store located on the corner of Highway 76 and Torrington Road in Clinton.  After he left the store and returned to his truck, a black male approached him at the pump and shot him multiple times before fleeing the scene in a silver compact sedan driven by another person.

The car was located several hours later in nearby Joanna, S.C.

Thirty-year-old Marvin Molquie Watson, of Laurens, S.C. and 20-year-old Zeryikia Copeland of Clinton were arrested in connection with the murder.

Watson was apprehended a few blocks away from where the vehicle was discovered, while Copeland turned herself in to police.

Here’s Watson’s mugshot …

(Via Laurens County)

Both Watson and Copeland are currently being held at the R. Eugene Johnson Detention Center in Laurens, S.C., where they are awaiting a bond hearing.

Why is this killing newsworthy?  Aside from the typical “if it bleeds it leads” editorial value?

According to police, Watson and Copeland had no known relationship with Anderson.  And they didn’t rob him.

“Our victim appeared to be getting gas, went inside the store,” Laurens County Sheriff Ricky Chastain told local television station WSPA TV 7 (Greenville-Spartanburg – CBS). “(He) came back out there was a vehicle at the pumps as well … appeared to get his attention before he left and just shot our victim.”

According to Chastain, there is “no known motive” for the shooting.

What on earth?

A popular local rumor suggested Anderson was shot because his truck allegedly displayed a Confederate flag on its driver’s side rear bumper.  In fact one source went so far as to suggest the perpetrators may have followed him to the gas station with the intention of killing him because of the flag.

Laurens County Sheriff’s deputies have flatly denied those reports.

“There is no Confederate flag sticker on that truck,” a spokeswoman at the agency told FITS, confirming deputies had “looked over every inch of that truck.”

Hmmmm …

We’ll be sure to keep our readers posted if we hear anything else regarding a possible motivation for this murder.

UPDATE: According to local authorities, the killing was the result of a case of road rage and mistaken identity.

I think it is a story of cold blooded murder.

Nitrat, just being the liberal that you are, you will allow nothing to deviate from the proposition that all black people are perfect angels.

Blacks are people. good and bad. The bad ought to be called out and punished. Excusing inexcusable behavior brings out the worst in anyone or class of people. Look what it has done to the upper class in America.

Yesterday while surfing on YouTube, quite by accident, I happened upon a video by a Black guy who called into question, the videos of a white NCPD chasing and then shooting to death, a Black guy he had stopped.

The guy was talking about how slowly the victim seemed to be running and noted the complete lack of blood on his back after being shot several times by the cop. He made mention of the possible use of “crisis actors” as has been alleged (and not satisfactorily disproven) with the Sandy Hook “shootings” from a couple of years ago.
I thought the video was “interesting” as I too was baffled at the seeming lack of blood on the victim, and filed it away under “interesting”. Seriously, while I can see a possible reason for creating a hoax with Sandy Hook, I cannot imagine any possible reason to create a hoax of a white cop murdering a Black guy, where the police would acquiesce in such. It just doesn’t fit.

Later in the day, I stumbled upon another video, this time by a white guy. He was critiqueing a news video of the victim’s brother talking to CNN (I believe) about his brother after the shooting. This guy again mentioned possible use of “crisis actors” and made note of interesting apparent “elbow nudges, eye movements, and the like by a tall, sharply-dresssed, unidentified man standing close beside the man identified as the victim’s brother. The videographer noted how in so many of these type interviews, you will have the sharply-dressed stranger

… re-plays it, several times to point out interesting nudges and eye movements by the stranger to the guy being interviewed.

The producer apologizes more than once for any pain he might bring to anyone in the event that he might be wrong in his assessment of the interview.

As with the first video, I will also file this as interesting and nothing more, absent additional data. While I can imagine a lot of reasons and “benefits” for creating a “Sandy Hook” hoax, I just cannot believe there would be any reason that a police department(s) would acquiesce in anything so damaging to their public image anf reputation as what happened in N Charleston.

I wish I could. This ancient “smart” phone doesn’t allow me to do that. The Black guy’s channel name had “red” and “silver” in it. I don’t recall the white guy’s name but his video mostly had a view of his computer screen (stills and motion) as he pointed out various interesting aspects of the interview he was critiqueing.

Go to YouTube and do a search for the victim’s name (be back in a few with it), hoax, and crisis actors. That should get you in the area.

Indeed, it does. The guys putting these things together really missed their calling in life. Can you imagine the reputations they would have as Perry Mason type “courtroom warriors”?

Thank you, Easterndumbfuckastan!!!! The second one was the second video that I saw. The first one was not the one I was thinking of by Redsilverj/Team Wake Em Up, but it was additionally interesting. The one by him that I saw first had “HOAX” in big red letters across the thumbnail pic by that video in the list.

easterndumbfuckistan August 17, 2015 at 4:00 pm

BTW the sharply dressed guy in the video is Rep. Justin Bamberg, the family’s attorney. Not saying that shoots down anything, if I was planning a fake operation doing something like this, I’d have a “trusted” local politician/attorney represent the family. He could likely be easily controled and the it lends respect in the community.

That one was from the Charleston Tragedy. It was interesting how some of the things he pointed out on the video I was talking about were on this one, too. Long before the Sandy Hook and now following “incidents” I used to marvel at the apparently scripted interviews with people following some tragic event or other.

I suspect more of this in the future. The black sub-culture, especially young black males, are constantly fed a line of racial hatred from their entertainment industry, black politicians, and general ultra-left extremist.
If they consider these kinds of actions as a demented way of making up for past injustices and discrimination, they are mistaken. It will only take their sub-culture to a more distant location from normal main-stream society.
We are seeing a sub-culture commit Hari Kari.

When FITSNews and Obama tell everybody whites hate blacks, when there is NO evidence of it, YOU perpetuate ignorant black people -immersed in Democrat Party politics – to murder whites for NO reason.

You liberals are corrupt and idea-less and you are left to use Blacks – by exploiting race- to empower yourself at the ballot box. Feeding your greed is all that matters. You don’t care if Americans hate each other, and kill in the streets. You probably are happy for it.

Is this “spokeswoman” the same “spokeswoman” that allegedly threatened to lodge sexual harassment charges against Sheriff Chastain, then was promoted to lieutenant?

She does look a smidgen better than the ho that Chastain knocked up, but not that much better!

I work at the Laurens County sheriff’s office. Sheriff Chastain is most certainly a sexual predator. He will come to my desk, and put his crotch right in front of my face, and grin. He thinks he’s cute, but he’s seriously mentally screwed!
Once, he ordered a foot-long sammich from the subway. He ate half of it, then offered me “his six inches.” He said that the bread was soft, but he could “make it get harder, given time.” Then, he said that I would find the “special sauce” “delicious.”
I understand that he goes to sexual counseling, but this is ridiculous.

Okay, I gotta ask, cause you know I’m not the only one wondering. Not to insult or demean you (but maybe Chastain), are you a male or a female employee?

Something similar to this happened to me when I first started working for Laurens County in another department. Chastain would regularly show up at my desk, and stay there for hours. I often noticed him glaring at my body in the strangest way. Once he invited me to lunch, and I politely turned him down. He insisted on taking me to “a quiet place in Greenville where no one would recognize us.” I was in a relationship at the time, and DEFINITELY not interested, especially with him.
I went to my supervisor, and he had Chastain banned from entering our office.
Later, I learned that there’s an unwritten rule among the female courthouse employees to never leave a coworker alone with Chastain.
This guy is the sleaziest thing I’ve ever seen. Seriously, he has major psychological issues. He’s really screwed along these lines.

I’m with Guido, it’s bad when you have to take your armed security partner with you to buy gasoline. Store clerks might as well get use to customers having people with AK’s and AR’s in their parking lots and at their gas pumps.

I’m not getting into some of the comments made, but I will say we know the Anderson family and have known most of them for over 10 years. Our hearts are broken.

What is such a double standard there is in this country regarding black on white crime. If a white couple had walked up to a black man and shot him at close range numerous times, the entire country would be up in arms.

I hope the shooter gets life in prison without the possibility of parole. He has no moral compass and it is terrifying to think he might be able to be convicted and be out on early release in 10 years. He’ll claim he made a mistake, shot the wrong guy, was on drugs, or whatever his pro bono attorney can come up with. The death penalty may never be on the table, because the state knows how much the automatic appeals process costs the state.

If someone can walk up to a person in broad daylight, kill them and walk away, they will do it again, with no further remorse. As for his accomplice, she knew what she was doing, too. Sentence her to the maximum the law will allow, and put her in the most dangerous women’s prison in SC.

This murder could have happened to anyone. Take a minute and think about it being your husband, your son, your father, your mother, or any loved one.
