|| By FITSNEWS || S.C. Rep. Mike Pitts has endorsed the presidential campaign of U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, according to statement released by Pitts’ campaign organization.
“Rand Paul is the only candidate who has and will continue to defend the entire Bill of Rights and the rule of law, which is why I am proud to stand with Rand,” Pitts said in the statement. “I have never endorsed a candidate for President, but America desperately needs a fighter who will defeat the Washington machine and unleash the American Dream. President Rand Paul will do that on day one.”
Pitts was the floor leader for the pro-Confederate flag forces during last month’s contentious debate over the controversial banner in the S.C. House of Representatives.
In the aftermath of that debate, he authored a three-part series for this website detailing his views.
Pitts’ endorsement of Paul comes at low ebb for the latter’s national ambitions. Paul’s campaign has been melting down in recent weeks, and his latest strategy to reestablish relevance in the race seems to be trolling GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.
Will it work?
Clearly that strategy didn’t work for Rick Perry …

Good.
That’s OK Mike Pitts, we don’t need any more reasons to not vote for Rand. You can support someone else now.
Rand Paul upon receiving news of Pitts’ endorsement: “Who??”
love it when an anonymous poster cast stones on someone that lives his life under hie REAL NAME.
sort of like going by Sic Willie, right?
