Welcome to our live blog for the first “Republican” presidential debate – scheduled for 9:00 p.m. EDT in Cleveland, Ohio. Wait, why is the word “Republican” in baby quotes in that last sentence? Because “Republicans” aren’t really who they say they are. Donald Trump aside, we don’t see any real difference between the two parties. In fact were it not for Trump, this debate would be little more than a scripted battle between Tea Party and establishment “Republican” talking points.
All of which you’ve heard before. And none of which are going to do a damn thing to fix this country.
Anyway, to cut through those “talking points,” we’re hosting this live blog. And we want to hear from you! Participate via any of the methods outlined above … or just post your thoughts in the comments section below.
11:10 p.m. EDT: Our founding editor Will Folks assesses the first GOP debate …
GOP frontrunner Donald Trump held his own against an incredibly hostile panel of Fox News’ moderators, a hostile panel of candidates and a generally unfriendly crowd. To emerge bloodied but unbowed is no small achievement seeing as the deck was stacked completely against him. Former Florida governor Jeb Bush did an amazing job when he was discussing his academic reforms, but was otherwise timid and uninspiring. Definitely not his best performance. Wisconsin governor Scott Walker started slowly but came on strong toward the end. U.S. Senators Ted Cruz? Rand Paul? They were essentially non-factors in this debate – especially Paul, who came off as shrill and whiny. Paul was also way too transparent in his efforts to pick a fight with Trump. Marco Rubio? He was by far the most polished candidate on the stage – but he took no tough questions and while slick with the diction, he didn’t really say much of substance. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson had a decent performance – but was ignored for most of the first hour of the debate and never really had the chance to get into a grove. Same with Mike Huckabee, who rivaled Rubio when it came to giving polished answers but just didn’t get much in the way of airtime. Perhaps the best two performances were from New Jersey governor Chris Christie and Ohio governor John Kasich. As a pro-freedom, pro-free market libertarian I didn’t like many of their answers but they were on their toes – and they connected with the audience. They are two of the more liberal “Republicans” in this field – and both of them barely qualified for the debate – but as much as I hate to admit it they made the most of their opportunities on the stage.
11:05 p.m. EDT: So … who won?
<<< DEBATE ENTRIES >>>
11:03 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas misspeaks during his closing argument, says America needs to “start persecuting religious liberty.” Oops. “That’s a major shift,” one of our readers noted.
11:00 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky closes his debate with an appeal to electability: “I’m the only Republican who beats Hillary Clinton in five states won by president Obama.” Surprised? No. This is his schtick.
10:55 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida addresses the scandal at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA): “When I’m president of the United States we’re going to have a VA that cares more about the veterans than the bureaucrats working at the VA.” Solid answer.
10:50 p.m. EDT: Candidates mulling during the most recent commercial break … (h/t Jonathan Lubecky)
10:45 p.m. EDT: New Jersey governor Chris Christie offers an impassioned defense of ongoing taxpayer subsidization of Israel’s war machine. Obviously, we disagree. Still, as much as we are loathe to admit it, Christie is having a pretty solid debate for a candidate who barely made it onto the stage.
10:44 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky outlines his opposition to foreign aid: “We cannot give away money we don’t have – you cannot project power from bankruptcy court.” We agree. Unfortunately, Paul has practically become a neo-conservative on foreign policy since entering the “Republican” primary.
10:43 p.m. EDT: Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee: “The military is not a social experiment, its purpose is to kill people and break things.” Agreed.
10:42 p.m. EDT: Wisconsin governor Scott Walker just said America needs to arm Ukraine and put its missile defense systems back in Europe as a deterrent to Vladimir Putin. Ah yes, Cold War II …
10:40 p.m. EDT: Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson is asked whether he would have used military force against Syria when it crossed U.S. president Barack Obama‘s “red line” regarding chemical weapons. He declines to answer the question, rambles about the adverse impact of so-called “sequestration,” eventually saying “I would shore up our military first.”
10:39 p.m. EDT: In the first non-hostile question he’s received all night, Donald Trump is asked about U.S. President Barack Obama‘s recently announced nuclear deal with Iran. Trump calls it a “disgrace.”
10:37 p.m. EDT: We’re not the only ones picking up Fox News “Kill the Donald” narrative …
10:30 p.m. EDT: Awkwardly pointless policy position of the debate: Ohio governor John Kasich says he would love his own daughters even if they were lesbians. And gets applauded for it. Really?
10:28 p.m. EDT: Fox’s Megyn Kelly grills billionaire Donald Trump on abortion – citing previous quotes in which he said he was “very pro-choice.” Trump acknowledges his position has evolved on the issue. Tells a story about his personal experience with a couple who had planned on aborting a child but decided against it. The child “turned into a superstar” Trump said.
10:25 p.m. EDT: Fact-checkers get ready … Fox’s Megyn Kelly accuses Marco Rubio of supporting rape and incest exemptions on abortion. Rubio says he doesn’t. Who’s right? Who’s wrong?
10:23 p.m. EDT: Megyn Kelly rips Jeb Bush for his affiliation with the Bloomberg Foundation – an organization which funded Planned Parenthood. Jeb’s response? “I didn’t look at the line-by-line” of the foundation’s budget. He added that Florida defunded Planned Parenthood under his lead. Kelly presses him on the foundation angle, though, asking “But did you know?” Bush’s response? “No – but it doesn’t matter.”
10:19 p.m. EDT: Interesting perspective on Megyn Kelly‘s testy exchange with Donald Trump regarding his “war on women.” This caustic back-and-forth really set the tone for the debate …
10:15 p.m. EDT: Fox News has officially thrown everything but the kitchen sink at “The Donald.” Seriously: Waiting on Brett Baier to make fun of his hair.
10:10 p.m. EDT: Billionaire Donald Trump is now getting grilled on the four bankruptcies his businesses have endured – including one in 2009 in Atlantic City. Trump’s response? “I had the good sense seven years to leave Atlantic City before it totally cratered.” Trump says he’s done hundreds of deals and only used the bankruptcy laws four times. “I’ve built a net worth of ten billion dollars,” Trump said. “I employ thousands of people.”
10:08 p.m. EDT: Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is talking about entitlements. He was wrong on this issue before the latest data came out … now he’s really wrong.
10:04 p.m. EDT: Former Florida governor Jeb Bush is asked about his recent GDP boast, specifically “how on earth” he plans on achieving it. His answer? “We need to lift out spirits and have high expectations.” Ummm … our guess is it’s gonna take a little more than that.
10:02 p.m. EDT: How to run against Hillary Clinton‘s contention that Democrats are good for black people? Duh … Democrats aren’t good for black people.
10:00 p.m. EDT: Fox News’ Mike Wallace asks Ohio governor John Kasich how he would run a campaign against Hillary Clinton. His answer? “Economic growth – economic growth is key to everything.” Agreed. So why did he stop embracing the policies that would create it?
9:59 p.m. EDT: One more hour of this? Jeez …
9:54 p.m. EDT: Former Florida governor Jeb Bush: “If states want to opt out of Common Core, that’s fine.”
9:52 p.m. EDT: Former Florida governor Jeb Bush gets questioned by Fox’s Bret Baier on his support for federal Common Core curriculum standards. Not surprisingly, Bush pivots it to his support for “real school choice across the board.” Well-played. As we noted earlier in this thread, Bush’s record is strong on that.
9:48 p.m. EDT: Man, U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky has clearly been told to go after Donald Trump. Twice now he has interjected between questions to go after Trump.
9:45 p.m. EDT: Asked about the use of enhanced interrogation techniques, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson basically says American needs to take its system underground. The enemy “doesn’t need to know what we’re doing.” Says we don’t need to fight “politically correct wars.” Scary …
Read our views on enhanced interrogation techniques here …
9:44 p.m. EDT: Hey! They asked retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson a question. His response? “Thank you, Megyn – I wasn’t sure I was going to get to talk again.” LOL.
9:43 p.m. EDT: Former Florida governor Jeb Bush is hit by Megyn Kelly on his flip-flop on the Iraq War – basically told that his new position means thousands of Americans died in vain. His response? “I called every one of (the families) I could find and told them I loved them.” Ummm … okay.
9:41 p.m. EDT: Is retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson still onstage? Since the Fox moderators called him stupid he hasn’t been asked another question …
9:38 p.m. EDT: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky just got into a heated dispute over the domestic spying issue, with Paul closing his remarks by saying he doesn’t trust U.S. president Barack Obama with that information – then bashed Christie for his infamous hug of Obama.
9:37 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Rand Paul on domestic spying: “I wanna collect more records from terrorists, and less records from innocent American citizens.”
9:35 p.m. EDT: Fox News’ Megyn Kelly and Mike Wallace literally cannot conceal their hate for Donald Trump. You can see it in their faces. Gotta love that status quo media …
9:32 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida is given an opportunity by Fox moderator to bash Trump, he also declines. Pivots to his more “centrist” message on immigration.
9:31 p.m. EDT: Ohio governor John Kasich is given an open invitation by Fox News moderator to bash Donald Trump. He declines, saying Trump has clearly “tapped into a nerve” out there.
9:29 p.m. EDT: So far the national debt has been mentioned precisely one time during the #GOPDebate (by U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas). He said it was $18 trillion. It’s actually up to $18.3 trillion. Take a look …
9:27 p.m. EDT: Said it before, saying it again … Fox News’ marching orders in this debate are transparently clear: “Kill the Donald.”
9:24 p.m. EDT: Frontrunner Donald Trump is asked about illegal immigration. Moderator instructs him to direct his comments to Jeb Bush. Trump refuses to address Bush, adding “if it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t even be talking about illegal immigration.”
9:22 p.m. EDT: The scene inside the Quicken Loans Arena (h/t Jonathan Lubecky) …
9:19 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Rand Paul is asked about his foreign policy views being inconsistent with the “Republican” party. His response? “ISIS rides around in a billion dollars worth of humvees – one of the ways we stop them is by not funding them and by not arming them.” Agreed. We’ve been making that point for some time.
9:18 p.m. EDT: Former Arkansas Mike Huckabee argues for the extension of constitutional liberty to unborn children. Says we ought to value unborn life not view fetuses as “parts on a Buick.”
9:16 p.m. EDT: First question to Wisconsin governor Scott Walker is on the abortion issue – specifically his status as a “100 percenter” (i.e. no abortions under any circumstances). Walker pivots it nicely, turning attention to the current Planned Parenthood scandal. “I defunded Planned Parenthood four years ago.”
9:14 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas: “We’ve got a Republican House and a Republican Senate but we don’t have leaders who honor their commitments.” True that.
9:13 p.m. EDT: Less than fifteen minutes into this debate Fox News’ mission is clear: Kill the Donald.
9:11 p.m. EDT: Fox’s Megyn Kelly attempts to label Donald Trump as a sexist – part of the GOP’s “war on women.” Trump’s response? He’s only sexist when it comes to Rosie O’Donnell – a line that earns him big applause. Kelly responds it went “well beyond Rosie O’Donnell.” Trump’s response to that? “I don’t have time for political correctness.”
9:10 p.m. EDT: Former Florida Jeb Bush is asked if he understands people’s concern with “Dynastic politics.” He says he does.
9:09 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida: If I’m the nominee we will be the party of the future.
9:09 p.m. EDT: Multiple sources inside the Quicken Loans arena are telling FITS they can’t hear the candidates.
9:07 p.m. EDT: Way to go Fox News. First question to the only black candidate on the stage: “Are you smart enough to be president?”
9:05 p.m. EDT: And check out Rand Paul attacking Trump “he buys and sells politicians – he’s already hedging his bets.”
9:04 p.m. EDT: Wow. First question out of the gate at the debate is a direct shot at Donald Trump – asking if the candidates will pledge to support the eventual GOP nominee and agree to forego an independent campaign. Trump says he’s not making that commitment. Good for him.
9:03 p.m. EDT: Ohio governor John Kasich gets the biggest round of applause from the home crowd as his name is
9:02 p.m. EDT: Wisconsin governor Scott Walker gives the “hey how you” wink after his name is called …
9:00 p.m. EDT: Could Fox News’ anchors possibly be any more awkward during the introductions of the GOP candidates? Seriously … somebody needs to check Megyn Kelly’s blood alcohol content.
8:59 p.m. EDT: Megyn Kelly: Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina “opened up a can.”
8:57 p.m. EDT: Candidates on-stage. Asked if they’re nervous, former Florida governor Jeb Bush nods affirmatively. Points for honesty!
8:56 p.m. EDT: Why can’t this be “Hunger Games?” Just saying …
8:53 p.m. EDT: Fox News analyst: “I think the real story here is Donald Trump.” Thank you, Captain Obvious.
<<< PRE-DEBATE ENTRIES >>>
8:49 p.m. EDT: Jesus … Bill O’Reilly has gotten old.
8:45 p.m. EDT: Some great pics from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland (the site of tonight’s debate) courtesy of our friend Jonathan Lubecky …
8:40 p.m. EDT: Will the overreach of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) be an issue in tonight’s debate? We certainly hope so … especially as the administration of Barack Obama ramps up its efforts to impose stricter emissions limits. U.S. Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina has called Obama’s proposed limits “unattainable, unachievable and unrealistic.”
8:29 p.m. EDT: Debate watch party in Florence, S.C.
8:25 p.m. EDT: David Drucker of The Washington Examiner blinks a lot … just saying.
8:20 p.m. EDT: As we get closer to the start of the first “Republican” presidential debate, what are we looking for from the candidates? Simple answers to the following three questions: 1) How much of the people’s money are you going to spend during your term in office? 2) What are you going to spend that money on? and 3) Where are you going to get it from?
You can tell a lot about a candidate by how they answer those three questions …
8:12 p.m. EDT: S.C. governor Nikki Haley is in Cleveland for the debate, though. In fact she spoke at an Ohio GOP gathering – saying “Republicans” need to work on their tone.
Politics is personal, but in order for us to get people to understand where they’re coming from we have to understand we’re they’re coming from … we need to listen more.
8:10 p.m. EDT: That giant sucking sound you’re hearing? South Carolina governor Nikki Haley‘s vice presidential ambitions after former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina emerged as the undisputed winner of the “Republican” undercard debate.
8:06 p.m. EDT: On a night she’s otherwise basking in the glow of a well-received performance in the GOP undercard debate, here’s an impressive “tssss burn” on former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina …
Carly Fiorina killed it!! Just like all the jobs she killed while at HP. #GOPDebate

8:04 p.m. EDT: Funny …
Can the next president PLEASE make the iPhone come with a taco emoticon? Looking at YOU @realDonaldTrump… #GOPDebate — Jennifer Eckhart (@JenniferEckhart) August 6, 2015
SIC SEZ: You prefer the taco to the sausage? Or … both?
8:00 p.m. EDT: Did we mention former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina had a good night at the #GOPPreDebate?

Are you ready? The main event is less than 2 hours away! Join us LIVE as the Top 10 candidates face off at the #GOPDebate — Megyn Kelly (@megynkelly) August 6, 2015
7:55 p.m. EDT: Serious question: Is it too early for some of these “Republican” candidates to consider throwing in the towel?
7:50 p.m. EDT: Fox News viewers overwhelmingly believe former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina won the #GOPPreDebate. In fact it’s not even close …
7:44 p.m. EDT: Checking “the Google” from the #GOPPreDebate. Looks like U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham had one big spike (when he talked about the death of his parents), but as internet searches go – the early evening affair was won by former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.
(Chart via Washington Post)
7:33 p.m. EDT: Former Florida governor Jeb Bush on tonight’s debate: “I’m going to speak from my heart. It’ll be fun!”
7:26 p.m. EDT: An hour-and-a-half before the big debate and we’re already at 119 comments. And a handful of them are even appropriate and insightful. To wit …
7:22 p.m. EDT:
#2016 will be all about electing a #CommanderInChief who will keep #America safe & secure, so that we can remain #free. #Election2016
— Van Hipp (@VanHipp) August 6, 2015
SIC SEZ: Hold up … we’re free? When did that happen?
7:14 p.m. EDT: For those of you with the time, here’s the full transcript of the #GOPPreDebate of the “seven lower-performing candidates.” Including that part where former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania said he was Ronald Reagan’s child.
Hmmmm … spot the resemblance?
7:03 p.m. EDT: About that closing statement from former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina everyone has been raving about … turns out she left it on the printer at her hotel.
6:55 p.m. EDT: Just ran a post on the big “Bill Clinton-Donald Trump conspiracy.” Our takeaway …
Seriously: Anyone who thinks this is a Clinton conspiracy to deny the White House to an establishment GOP candidate (ahem, Jeb Bush) needs a refresher on what “Republicans” in power have done over the last quarter century.
6:43 p.m. EDT: So … how funny would it be if uber-liberal U.S. Speaker John Boehner had to appear on the debate stage tonight in Cleveland. Think he’d last long? Which reminds us …
6:33 p.m. EDT: Will the candidates in tonight’s debate discuss the abysmal status of America’s government-run education system? And the pathetic results it has “achieved?” Let’s hope so. And while he’s not our candidate of choice, this is solid goal real estate for proven education reformer Jeb Bush. From our post earlier this year …
He has many faults, but there can be no denying Bush is a school choice champion – a visionary politician who recognized the essential nature of free market reform in improving academic outcomes (and individual lives).
6:28 p.m. EDT: Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina is getting solid reviews in early-voting South Carolina for her “pre-debate” performance, too. Former S.C. lieutenant governor (and Pee Dee radio host) Ken Ard summed up the pre-debate as follows …
Carly Fiorina kicked their asses.
Ha! That’s how a country boy calls it! 6:25 p.m. EDT: Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina‘s midriff won the #GOPPreDebate … (kidding, she didn’t wear that).
6:23 p.m. EDT: Fox debate analysts are declaring Carly Fiorina the winner of the #GOPPreDebate.
6:22 p.m. EDT: An excerpt from former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina‘s closing statement … continuing her theme of being the GOP candidate best suited to take after Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton lies about Benghazi, she lies about emails, she is still defending planned parenthood, and is still her party’s frontrunner. 2016 is going to be a fight between conservatism and a Democrat Party that is undermining the very character of this nation. We need a nominee who is going to throw every punch, not pull punches, and someone who cannot stumble before he even gets in the ring. I am not a member of the political class. I am a conservative I can win this job. I can do this job.
6:14 p.m. EDT: Some feedback on the comment section …
@fitsnews wish your posters would keep it at least PG13. — Anticipation (@mailabull) August 6, 2015
SIC SEZ: Yeah, it’s kind of “Lord of the Flies” in our comments section … 6:12 p.m. EDT: A suggestion for the debate drinking game …
@fitsnews and drink every time Trump says “terrific” — Tim Kelly (@tdkelly) August 6, 2015
6:09 p.m. EDT: Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum: “I’m a child of Ronald Reagan.” Hmmmmmm, does Nancy know about that? Oh, Santorum also says the GOP needs to elect a candidate who “will get things done in Washington, D.C.” Really? What did Santorum “get done” in D.C. other than lead a massive “Republican” explosion of government?
6:04 p.m. EDT: On the issue of illegal immigration, Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal says he wants to target “sanctuary cities” via executive order. That’s actually tame compared to his previous comments on the issue, saying he would criminally charge the mayors of those cities. We like that! As our friend Rick Manning predicted, Jindal is a welcome addition to this race … shame he’s not gaining more traction.
5:57 p.m. EDT: BREAKING. Debate stage at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio has just threatened to withdraw from tonight’s event if Chris Christie is allowed to participate.
Yeah … that was a fat joke. Sorry!
5:53 p.m. EDT: Hold up … is U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham getting a bit of a “boost” at tonight’s #GOPPreDebate? Seems like he’s standing on something …
Looks like he is! Wow. So that’s where his “invade everybody” Napoleon complex comes from …
5:48 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky previews his GOP debate game plan …
During the debate, Senator Paul will outline his constitutional conservative vision for America, where fiscal responsibility will combine with competition and innovation to usher America into a new age of prosperity. To this end, Sen. Paul will discuss his new ‘Fair and Flat’ tax plan, which will eliminate the cumbersome 70,000-page tax code, and replace it with a 14.5 percent flat rate. Sen. Paul understands that America will return to prosperity when more money is left in the pockets of those who earned it.
5:42 p.m. EDT: Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal … “Give Bernie Sanders credit – at least he’s honest enough to call himself a socialist.” Ha! That’s true. #GOPPreDebate.
5:40 p.m. EDT: Ohio governor John Kasich is getting ripped in the “pre-debate” for his decision to accept Obamacare subsidies. Our thoughts on Kasich?
… this website has made clear Kasich’s best days are behind him. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he was a real pro-freedom, pro-free market champion … but in recent years he’s become just another status quo Republican hack. Sort of like his onetime ideological ally, Mark Sanford – who is also keen on discussing his consultations with the Almighty.
5:38 p.m. EDT: Ouch. Here’s former FreedomWorks grassroots gal Whitney Neal laying into “The Donald.”
5:36 p.m. EDT: U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham is touting his opposition to Obamacare in the “pre-debate?” Please …
5:25 p.m. EDT: Nice quote from former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina in the “pre-debate …”
Whatever the issue, whatever the cause, whatever festering problem you hoped would be resolved, the political class has failed you.
5:22 p.m. EDT: Debate drinking game suggestions … “conservative,” “ISIS,” “Obama,” “administration,” “Obamacare,” “repeal,” “Democrats,” “border,” “security,” “economy,” “babies,” “Planned Parenthood,” “Congress,” “growth,” “jobs,” “Mr. Trump,” etc. etc. etc.
5:10 p.m. EDT: Will any of the candidates in tonight’s GOP debate address America’s looming entitlement disaster? And the fact the government’s “tick tock clock” is off by about a decade? Doubtful …
5:02 p.m. EDT: Awwww … Rick Perry. Your “smart glasses” weren’t smart enough to land you in the grown-ups debate. Wonder why? Hmmmm …
4:54 p.m. EDT: Trump Force One has landed in Cleveland, Ohio (check out our look inside “The Donald’s” private jet HERE).
4:33 p.m. EDT: What should we call the “pre-debate” involving the six candidates who didn’t make the cut for tonight’s main event? Kiddie pool?
4:19 pm. EDT: Want more proof the U.S. economy should be the No. 1 issue during tonight’s debate? The Atlanta Federal Reserve has just released its first live estimate of third quarter GDP growth – and it clocked in at an abysmal one percent.
4:12 p.m. EDT: Because this is a “Republican” debate, we figured we ought to check in with an actual, honest-to-God member of the Grand Old Party to see what they were expecting to see. Here are some thoughts from our intrepid GOP columnist, Taylor Brown.
3:53 p.m. EDT: Our story on the Jeb Bush v. Hillary Clinton Planned Parenthood spat is here …
3:40 p.m. EDT: Think the Planned Parenthood scandal will come up during the debate? Of course. Oh, and in case you missed it here was this week’s social media exchange between presumed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and establishment “Republican” favorite Jeb Bush regarding that issue …
3:34 p.m. EDT: The expectations game regarding Donald Trump … (@JWills_USC to @TaylahhKane).
3:30 p.m. EDT: For those of you who care, according to Fox “the five polls included in the average that determined the line-up were conducted by Bloomberg, CBS News, Fox News, Monmouth University and Quinnipiac University.” And these were the results …
3:20 p.m. EDT: Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton says she won’t watch the GOP debate. She says she’ll be raising money. You know … from people who need chemical weapons.
3:18 p.m. EDT: Gallup’s latest economic confidence data provides more evidence the anemic U.S. economy should be the big topic in tonight’s debate …
3:14 p.m. EDT: Will the anemic U.S. economy be the big topic tonight? Judging from the latest WSJ/NBC News poll … it should.
3:08 p.m. EDT: Who do you think will win tonight’s debate? Vote in our poll …

I’ll bet a buffalo nickel that the camera spends more time on Megyn Kelly than on Brett Baier and Chris Wallace.
But a slightly tilted down angle. Megyn has nice Foxes.
Bet least amount is Trump’s hair.
Nothing the Chief Fascism Officer enjoys more than a little hot aryan girl.
Me too, Megyn Kelly, she gots everythang Uncle John needs.
Screw what they say, just show Megyn.
She needs to lose the false eyelashes
If one falls down her shirt I’ll go get it – yahooo!!!!
Who will win the debate? Comedy writers on late night talk shows.
Ha! Indeed ;)
Sadly the Democrats have made a joke of our nation.
If you can laugh, you must be an America-hating piece of shit, after what you’ve done to us.
No, it’s the republicans who are the butt of all the election jokes. I’m laughing because life is certainly better now than under GWB. Sorry you lack the wherewithal to pull up those boot straps and make something better of yourself. Enjoy the shitshow! ;-)
Gas is still hovering around $2 a gallon, much lower than under Bush! Thanks Obama!
Remember the $4 a gallon that were are still trying to recover from? The National Average for gas was $1.83 the day before Obama took office. The current National Average is $2.68. http://www.eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/ Liberals don’t even want to start to talk about the price of groceries, especially beef and eggs.
Yeah, that was under Bush!
Nope under Obama.
Bush had them jacked up to $4 a gallon right before the bottom fell out, facts are stubborn things aren’t they?
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/business/2012/03/highest-gas-price-recorded-for-march/ Here is a link to Obama’s record high fuel prices.
http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/gas-prices-were-421-a-gallon-under-bush–so-why-is-obama-to-blame-for-gas-prices-today/question-2508615/
$4.21 under Bush. Even if you take the $4.23 in that article, adjusting $4.21 for inflation makes it more expensive.
WRONG. AGAIN.
Inflation that occurred under Obama. Still his economy is horrible. This site has been posting article about low consumer confidence. Obama policies have increased fuel prices, grocery prices, and overall costs of living while destroying what little was left of consumer confidence.
TUPID
LULZ! Inflation occurs under pretty much every president! You are a total dolt!
And you are trying to blame beef and eggs on inflation when other causes are inflating those prices!
Keep talking, you are cracking me up!
No I’m blaming Obama’s economic policies.
That $4.21 happened a while before Obama came along. That amount of time is more than enough to add 3 cents and put it over that figure on the link you provided.
Are you saying Obama’s policies caused inflation before he even took office?
You can’t stop being dishonest can you?
http://www.statista.com/statistics/204740/retail-price-of-gasoline-in-the-united-states-since-1990/ The graph shows which President has had the highest gas prices. There is a steady rise under Bush before a drop at the end of his Presidency. They continued to trend down at the start of Obama’s policies and as his policies went in to affect gas prices surged. They are just now starting to fall. Due to transportation of goods fuel prices do have some effect on the cost of other consumer goods. It also affects travel and tourism which effect the economy also.
“They continued to trend down at the start of Obama’s policies”
Damn, lies again?
What policy made gas prices go up?
What specific policy?
You still have not admitted that gas prices dropped due to a recession and were destined to go back up as we recovered.
Can you even do that much?
Your drool bucket is running over.
The only reason for the lowering of fuel prices is the discovery and pumping of oil and gas from private sources in the upper mid west and Canada. The prices would be even lower if Obummer had signed off on Keystone and opened up fed. lands for oil exploration. Higher oil prices help out his friends in the mid east so he is stopping our oil every way he can.
Inflation under Obummer has been horrible. The world price of commodities hasn’t gone up (true inflation) but with all the quantative easings the value of the dollar has gone down. Thus all the commodities like food , fuel and metals have gone way up. They are now only coming down due to over production due to the higher prices. An old farming adage : High prices fix high prices.
Beef and egg prices are affected by more than just inflation you fucking idiot.
http://qz.com/442037/what-the-hell-has-happened-to-the-price-of-ground-beef/
http://www.aol.com/article/2015/08/05/if-avian-flu-returns-egg-prices-could-increase-to-6/21218546/
Yep, Democrats sure are scared to talk about droughts and the bird flu.
Obama’s economy you pathetic, baby killing, sperm eating, fucking liberal moron. See I can stoop to your level if I have to but I prefer not to.
Agreed. I keep wanting to call these asshole libturds what they really are but I do have a certain level of decorum. Keep up the good work, you are one of the few on here with a functioning brain.
U R TUPID!!!
When was the last time gas was under $2 a gallon?
U tell me
The day before Obama took office or shortly thereafter when his policies drove fuel prices through the roof.
Gas prices dropped down because the economy took a sucker punch. You can’t even admit that much? Wow, what a loser.
Does someone need to dump your drool bucket?
AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report for January 14, 2015 – Gasoline costs $1.94 per gallon in South Carolina. So who’s Speakin’ D Truth now!!!!
National Average!
National average then was $2.03.
Can you post under one name only instead of trolling around with different unregistered names to make it look like you have more support than you really do.
Last time gas was under $2 a gallon we were in a recession. Republicans will surely put us in another one to get those prices back.
Sorry, currently $1.99 per gallon, down the street from me at the Kangaroo.
That id not the current national average.
The guy who lies about why beef and eggs cost more now suddenly is a stickler for facts? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
What city are you in?
What does that have to do with the current and past national averages of fuel in the nation?
I smell fear. Keep retreating, Speak D Lies!
Troll
You are correct, but we all know he is trying to say gas was under $2 a gallon when Obama was sworn in. That was caused by a recession, so it was an artificial price. They can’t be honest for 5 seconds and admit that because without it they don’t have an argument to make.
Gotta love these prices under Obama, $2 a gallon and not in a recession either! Barack rocks!
DIdn’t we get there like a year ago, like $1.97 or something? I think I recall paying something like that at Goose Creek.
National Average. We have some of the lowest gas prices and worst roads in the nation because of our low gas tax.
Our gas taxes are low, but not for long if your Republican buddies have their way! Republicans actually do love taxes! Just ask Haley!
Five minutes ago at the Kangaroo down the street from me. $1.99 per gallon.
Check and mate.
The National Average. Not the average of a state with some of the lowest prices in the nation.
Gas was below $2 a gallon in January 2015. Goose Creek, filled up the tank.
Think again.
I fueled up today, so why don’ you think again?
It’s obvious you don’t get out much.
Did you read the guy below who got $1.99 a gallon?
Maybe you should get out more. You know, from under your rock?
You obviously missed my point, everyone knows gas is hovering around $2 a gallon.
How much gas did you buy before Obama became President? I can remember buying gas for 15 cents a gallon (of course that was during a gas war) and the first time it reached $3 dollars a gallon when Bush was President.
The only rocks around here are multiple name users.
15 cents a gallon, wow! And I’ll bet you had to walk 5 miles to school in the blistering cold snow, uphill both ways?
We all know how inflation works. People bought hamburgers for a nickel, but then again there wasn’t many people making $100,000 a year back then either.
Thank you for the stroll down memory lane but you would be hard pressed to buy water at the store for 15 cents a gallon, so it is pretty much irrelevant.
If we all know how inflation works why all the bitching about the price of gas or the price of anything for that matter.
Never had to walk to school and they didn’t sell water in stores back then.
BTW try using one user name instead of trolling.
Cheap gas without the useless and destructive Keyston Pipeline. Obama was right again!
You hate America because it isn’t doing what you want, so you are the unpatriotic loser just like those in the “debate” tonight are.
Reaganomics was the first mistake, then under Clinton prosperity and equality came back, the we got dragged into two stupid wars by neocons and Obma recovered as much as he could. You had enough chances…enoughis enough. Go regroup for a decade and come back with policies worthy of this great country and stop your destruction of middle class America- and re Trump:stop making fools out of yourselves -you are better than this populist Nero-esque stuff!
“populist”
Anyone for democracy is a populist.
You’re an American-hating piece of shit?
You really shouldn’t fall asleep in front of FoxSnooze – they’re fairly unbalanced! Nice language Treasonoustramp!
Gotta love that huge and excited crowd. You’d think they’d definitely hire a crowd for a televised debate. People just don’t give a fuck about these goofballs. Kiss 2016 goodbye, GOP.
I could lend my token black supporter, I’d suggest putting him at the front and then manufacturing headlines about reaching out to minorities!
I hope Trump doesn’t tone himself down.
I expect him to be toned up. I want to be entertained.
Hell yeah! He’ll look like a fucking punpkin.
It’s going to have to be like the Special Olympics and tell them they are all winners just for showing up.
It is like special olympics. Jeb starts off like a healed retard and ends up tripping over six-inch hurdles.
Trump is showing his ass. His refusal to support the party will be the first chime in his death knell as a “Republican”. He’ll run as a third party if he doesn’t implode.
Where is his non support ?
In his refusal to agree to support whoever the nominee is.
Considering that the majority of the rest of the people onstage are beholden to the Koch brother I say “GOOD!”.
There have to be some Great Candidates somewhere but not on either side of this race yet! ?
Yes –
Also his inability to show respect or even common courtesy to those who disagree with him –
He would start W A R s Everywhere with his boorishness
Yeah, but he’s kicking asses – like his turning to Rand Paul – “I gave a lot of money to you.” He’s like a giant crazy referee saying to them – “cut the bullshit.” He puts them all in an uncomfortable place. And showing his ass – his supporters are irrational ass showers – like they care. BTW Colonel – as a Dem – I really don’t care much for Hillary.
I know what you mean. Hillary is like the brussel sprouts you leave on your plate for the last thing and hold your nose as you try and choke them down one by one as quickly as possible to avoid the taste.
You know they are good for you, but they look, smell and taste like shit.
Actually I like brussel sprouts. She’s more like rotten meat you keep in the freezer until garbage day so it doesn’t stink up the garbage can. Joe To Go – 2016
The GOP isn’t worth supporting anyway, & that goes for Democrats too.
You are nuts.He ain’t running third party you fucking socialist.
And I’m a socialist because I don’t support Trump? Apparently 3/4 of the auditorium are socialists as well.
Flip doesn’t even know what socialism is, let alone who supports it.
Very tricky times for the GOP. Obviously the donor class, the establishment heavies and a fair few GOP voters don’t want Donald to win the nomination, but if you go too hard at him then he’ll continue to pick up Palin-ites and potentially win some early states. If he wins at least one state (N.H., Iowa or S.C.) he’s likely to stay in as an “R” which would be a nightmare for the party as it would drag out the nomination process and horror of horrors he actually wins the nod.
However, if he loses all three of those first states (considering his poll numbers now) he would probably drop the “R” and go as an independent…assuming he still cares about being president at that point.
If that happens, again..another nightmare for the party as he would siphon off votes in the general and hand an already almost assuredly Dem. victory…to them on a silver platter.
Hillary’s refusal to answer questions for the disaster you have made of America, is ALL that I want them to talk about.
Hopefully they will bludgeon the Democrat Party with EACH and EVERY word. That is a way to have FITSNews, MSNBC and the NYT scrambling and shitting on themselves.
And by attacking the America-hating, bigoted Democrat Party, our people will stand with ovations of vehement praise.
Attack the enemy, and you liberals will not be so obsessed with us. That’s why you HATE Trump.
I think you are not informed on the debate.
Do you even have a TV? Probably jacking your wifi from a neighbor or nearby business. In any case, you making very little sense. You’ve created a strange fantasy world.
He was just jacking…off.
That’s my job!
Who gives a flying fuck what you want? Go change your diaper.
FUCK EM ALL ! ! !
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwIMQvdBl88
Sorry Bill Cosby won’t be there tonight.
He already fucked ’em.Don’t waste his time.
Better be quick doing it sir, we aren’t joking about the 4 hour erection thing.
good one!
Wow, you articulate what the Democrat Party is as well as Obama and Hillary.
YOU are what is wrong with America. I hope we win, and deport your ass to some 3rd World cesspool where you can get the kind of government you deserve, you worthless piece of shit.
Thank goodness American did not have to depend on ignorant bastards like you to build it. We’d be like Kenya, or some other toilet country.
TUPID
I’m not a Democrat.I’m a Sodomite.I prefer Australia.
I envision you as a child molester. You’d likely do very well in Haiti. It’s very ass-backward politically, like you. And anything goes for gays, there.
Are you trying to recruit another member, GrandTango?
Trump’s fat sweaty pumpkin head will really pop in front of that blue background.
#firstorangepresident
Wow, the votes have Jeb in 4th, can’t wait.
Got bigger fish to fry than waste time on this farce called a “debate”
Gotta finish “Our Man In Charleston” that I checked out from the Spartanburg library (only a 2 week limit and I was the first one to check it out).
Damn good read and definitely shows the roots of all the shit that has haunted the Great State of South Carolina to this very day.
I’ll just wait to see what Mika says tomorrow morning on “Morning Joe” then wait for my internet edition of “The Week” for other details.
Not everybody is as interested in you as you.
Mika – a great French Canadian rack. I’ve always wondered why Montreal produces great racks.
I think Bobby Jindal was the best candidate in the minor league debate.
If the GOP has learned ANYTHING from Trump, it’s that the American people want the Democrat Party – with Hillary and Obama- attacked and ripped to shreds. We MUST demolish the enemies of this country, and disarm them, or we’re done as a great nation.
The first moderate-libertarian – who tries to please the media – and bashes another Republican for being Conservative, eliminates himself.
I WILL be watching. You best not fuck up.
I watched the debate. Carly Fiorina was the runaway winner.
Yea, and ran away with the mullah after destroying her company.
As long as she bashed the TRUE enemies of America, which is the Democrat Party, that is what matters.
Do you know your ass from your mouth ?
Shit comes out both ends either way.
Only for you
I just hope the GOP knows yours, and stuffs it, so you will STFU, and quit destroying our nation, begging food stamps and welfare checks, so you can sit on your slovenly ass, and smoke dope and molest children, like the filthy fucking pervert you are.
Democrats are evil, they are the enemy, they are filth and we need to defeat them at all costs.
Democrats are the divisive ones.
Thanks Will, we already have had so much fun, it hasn’t started yet. You da man.
What to watch tonight:
1. Three members of the onstage crew are part time employees – Rand Paul, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.
2. Two members of the onstage crew have not worked since 2008 – Mike Huckabee and Jeb Bush
3. The third place guy is a college drop out
4. One guy is a doctor
5. One Governor is so hated back home only 19% of his state would vote for him
6. That Governor, and another, are lovers of Obamacare and expanded Medicaid.
7. One guy’s last job was reality TV show.
And these guys want to be our next Latex Salesman.
First question of the debate goes to Marco Rubio. “Senator Rubio – can we get you bottle of water?”
Second question of the debate goes to Jeb Bush – “Governor Bush, to overcome your last name, do you intend to get a Brazilian wax?” His respond to Meygn – “Can I see yours?”
Third question of the debate goes to Ted Cruz – “You recently cooked bacon with a machine gun. Is it true Senator that you used Canadian bacon?”
Fourth question of the debate to Dr. Ben Carson – “Dr. Carson – can you tell us, the exact setting for the timing on a 1973 Chevy Nova?”
I,Rocky,HAD a 73 Chevy Nova.And YOU,flying squirrel,are no Chevy Nova.
I will not use 9″‘s youth and inexperience for political gain.
That would be 8 degrees btc if a V8.
Fifth question of the debate goes to Scott Walker – “Governor Walker, what year did you graduate college?”
Years ago, there was an individual who was asked that same question, and his reply was, “I never attended college.”
Too bad he did not make anything of himself, so you probably have never heard much about him, his name was Abraham Lincoln.
College was not nearly as necessary then as it is now.
Some of the most successful people on earth did not graduate from college.
Most diploma snobs are not very successful at all. Somehow, a sheepskin makes them feel relevant.
it doesn’t.
What language did he program in?
I’ll be ya surgeon today there pardner! I never went to those newfangled liberal med schools but I’ve helped deliver a calf before, open heart surgery can’t be that hard! Delilah! Bring that moonshine over here, and grab a stick too!
Paul Krugman talks about the rise of Donald Trump in the polls — and the oh-so-surprised media response to his popularity in the Republicans party
Jonathan Chait pretty much nailed it with this piece the other day:
“the reality that a lot of people are, in effect, members of a delusional
cult that is impervious to logic and evidence, and has lost touch with
reality.”
This thread has a number of the people he’s talking about, and they are easy to spot!
“delusional cult”
“You’re the party of manmade Global Warming, Dumbass. (:
We could do a lot to save the environment if we could plug up all that hot air leaking from the heads of people like you.
Krugman writes: “Democrats constitute a normal political party…”
This may be the most IGNORANT motherfucker to ever breathe. (:
This may be the most IGNORANT motherfucker to ever breathe. (:
——–
Yeah.. no education.
He’s probably got degrees covering his wall.
The fact that it’s how liberals gauge wisdom and intelligence – by indoctrination from dumbasses like him – shows how fucking stupid you are in reality.
You sound like someone who could never graduate college. Someone’s got a bit of envy!
Not you – you’re too clever to fall for the education scam.
excellent
Jeb and Christie, and any other libertarian moderate, needs to be eliminated tonight. That will be a GREAT benefit to the country, and to the party.
And it will, in effect, snuff out Hillary’s chances to be president.
Liberal-Tarians?
GrandTango, how is a libertarian a moderate Republican? Republicans are leftists to libertarians.
But you do agree with what he said don’t you? If you don’t you’ve not very politically savvy.
You’ve not very politically savvy? God damn outsourcing to India.
Not able to think on your feet, I see.
I bet you’re used to having it spoon fed to you, like they do to dumbasses, or you can’t get it. The DNC loves idiots like you (my apologies to true idiots.) They pour it in, and you follow like a clueless fucking robot.
Voting for a real libertarian would at least stop a lot of the fucked up things you Republican idiots are doing to this country. Someone has to save the rest of us from the mouth breathers like you.
And liberals like Trump.
thanks for this live blog! commentaries are great. …waiting for the Donald! Carly said she’d go after Putin, clueless.
15 minutes…
Trump just killed himself
No, you don’t get it Colonel. He can’t do that. The people who support him, he could rape white women in his office, and they’d support Trump and vilify the victim. They are not rational. They’re nuts. Crazy ass nuts.
Jeb, a conservative, LOL.
There are those that will be turned off by Trump’s comments but he is right that political correctness is ruining this country.
Cruz is right republicans have no honor
Christy, read my lips
what about his hair?
Donalds rocks vschristy
who’d go near them?
Thanks Bush for Iraq rp
K man rocked, Obama made a difference
Jeb ain’t TA one
Trump’s ego is showing. Too many “I’s, Me’s, and ‘If not for me’s.”
Trump just + 12
i like this:
Megyn Kelly asks Donald Trump about his history of referring to women offensively, including calling them fat pigs and slobs.
“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump quips, drawing laughter.
“For the record it was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell,” Kelly said.“Yes I’m sure it was,” he said.
“I think the big problem this country has is being politically correct,”
Trump said to big applause. “I don’t frankly have time for total
political correctness, and to be honest with you, this country doesn’t
have time either.”
Point
Really That’s an important world issue for Megan? She sounds like a liberal wrote her questions
Megyn has been known to get super pissed at people knocking women in powerful roles. She may be a good little shill for most Republican policies but nothing grinds her gears more than that.
Sh.. she ought to be on The View
She’s freakin’ hot, and I’m sworn against blonde American chicks. But she’s freakin’ hot. Hot. Hot. Hot.
Cruz lost
I think the hosts are attacking like Trump adversaries. The rest of the candidates are getting softballs. I’m very disappointed in the moderators
Me to
Doughnut lost
Rand lost
Rand should just withdraw right now and walk off of the stage.
Yeah, he’s finished.
Even I had better success. Son, I am disappoint.
Trump has brought immigration to the forefront. I don’t think the Democrats can compete with the Republicans on this issue. The Republicans will score big points with the voters on this topic.
I agree with you
Not if they want to give amnesty.
Except for the fact immigration, both legal and illegal, is down tremdously since the mid-2000s
http://www.pewhispanic.org/2010/09/01/us-unauthorized-immigration-flows-are-down-sharply-since-mid-decade/
Drive through Saluda and then tell me that website is correct. Drive down Percival Rd and tell me that website is right. Go to a Wal Mart on payday and tell me that website is right. You can’t honestly do it.
They’re only statical facts that are right no matter where you ask someone to go . Are you saying you frequent places illegal immigrants hangout? If that’s so, do something about it.
Part of Obama’s biggest lies is to cheat on data to cover himself. And a lot of liberal pollsters poll as he tells them to poll, to help him.
How does the government determine the number of illegal immigrants crossing the border each year? Are they handing out welcome packets and keeping count as they pour across the border? If so, why aren’t they stopping them instead.
Are you drinking? They bashed Latinos last time and got wiped, now they’re doubling down.
Jeb is double dead
I think the moderators want to hug him and Huckabee
Trump is getting a raw deal, k brothers want to rule
I guess the Fox media want to prove they are just like the rest of the media
Ben Carson ” If you are going to be in a war then be in it to win it.”
Damn, the Dr is right
It’s sad, the k boys exicution
The moderators are attacking Trump like adversaries. The rest of the candidates are getting softballs. I’m very disappointed in the Fox. I guess they are trying to show who is boss like the mainstream media
U expect more
Donald is being held in the box like a race horse. The K money is very powerful.
My take so far, Jeb’s struggling, a few moments of bright, but otherwise falling flat. Marco is off to the side and staying there. Kasich seems to be make a strong showing, and Trump – I love this guy .What a jerk, but man he puts them in their place. Quote of the night – Trump to Rand Paul – “I gae you a lot of money.”
Boy they are sure making Huckabee squirm… NOT He must of wrote the questions for them
Rand Paul is coming across as shrill and whiny
The Fuckbook signs in the background are a nice touch. No matter which pol wins, Mark Zuckerberg wins more.
Now if Zuckerberg can pull a Koch and make all of them kiss his ring for funding, he can get in on the puppetmaster action.
Ring? Hell, if I’m Zuckerberg I’m dropping my drawers expecting the “big kiss” from Hilliary or whoever wins.
Trump is the perfect man to see this country through its needed bankruptcy, even if he is a orange douche.
If he somehow manages to win the nomination, he better pull off a massive troll with his VP pick.
Vince McMahon for VP
Here we go again. Rip into Trump, no questions about policy or vision. F Fox
Fox News = FEBE, For Establishment By Establishment
Their only goal is to weed out the free radicals and make sure the same old same old goes up.
Most of their viewers are completely blind to that.
That is why the GOP has floundered so badly when it comes to the White House.
Their death grip is only killing their own party.
Nice commentary.
Thing is, when you hear some of the inane applause over the most retarded of talking points vomited out by the candidates, it doesn’t take long to realize the idiots are in charge and the monkeys are just part of the Special Olympics.
It’s no different for the Dems too.
When Ben Carson said he doesn’t think people are stupid, he showed his own stupidity. I don’t care if he’s a “doctor” or not.
Trump is getting out of the box they are trying to put him in.
I think he put Chris Wallace in his place. All Trump’s successful business ventures and they hold four failures against him?
…and in fairness to him none of those on stage have ever had to risk anything in life because they live off the taxpayers.
I don’t think they were failures. They were strategic maneuvers that were completely legal. Many people in today’s world have escaped debt by declaring bankruptcy and then rebuilding.
Yep. More importantly, it’s a fundamental part of the economic system here….in countries with no bankruptcy you have fiscal slavery and economic stagnation.
It’s a constitutional right. No kidding.
Did I just hear Cruz say he takes it from behind?
That’s your inner want speaking.
Rocky fucks his daughter every night.Give him a break.
Uncalled for.
I saw that comment and I agree-uncalled for. However I did see your comment on this thread mocking fun of and mocking the disabled and ‘special olympics’.
‘making fun of’
I was making fun of Jeb actually.
On the ‘backs’ of the handicapped and disabled.
But that probably was an insult to handicapped people, so I apologize. Jeb runs like a girl.
Obama throws like a girl.No problem.
:)
Holy shit, Carson just said we have a few planes as we had in 1940. You mean we’re down to just a handful of bi-planes? Holy crap!!!!! Not to mention a deficit in bayonets and horses.
Carson had the line of the night.Hillary won’t be the democrat nominee.
You may be right. Biden is polling even better than Hillester agasint the entire GOP field.
Walker seems like he’s almost smart, too bad he didn’t finish college. He’s done. Wants to deploy missiles to Czech Republic.
Huckabee can be renamed – I hate gays. I hate gays. I hate gays.
lol…thank God your family is not allowed to vote.
Me and wifey are.
Fox News comes out of this debate as the grand loser, they have done nothing tonight but to try and trash Trump…..it just goes to show even Fox is not fair and balanced….I am voting for Trump, the rest are a bunch empty suits who are not part of the solution but they are the problem. Trump and Carley in 2016.
They did the same thing to Ron Paul last cycle. Maybe they’ll piss off Trump enough for him to run third party.
I totally agree. I am Was a big fan of Fox. The are obviously in the tank for the RNC as the mainstream media is for the DNC
Kelley had an axe to grind. Other than that great job by Fox and the candidates.
She ought to go work on The View.
yep
Maybe it will end up with the same viewer number of MSNBC or CNN. (:
Line of the night – “…I’m the only one to remove half a brain but somebody beat me to Washington…” Dr. Been Carson
I’m not sure Obama has even HALF a Brain, unless it’s a half from Mao Tse Tung.
Yeah, he’ll never win re-election by a landslide.
And yet, he’s smarter than you’ll ever be!
Just received a phone call from one of Trump’s operatives.
“How did you find me?”
“We accessed the archives at the White House. We also have a mole at Fitsnews.”
“That was a long, long time ago.”
“Yes, but you sort of stand out.”
“What do you want from me?”
“Mr. Trump needs to generate some down-to-earth humor to lighten his persona.”
“His persona? Are you kidding me?”
“No, Henry, we feel that you have matured to the point that your assistance on the campaign trail would be beneficial to Mr. Trump’s success in achieving the nomination.”
“What the hell gave you that idea?”
“We know as factual information that you once made Arnold Schwarzenegger
laugh. You can do the same for Mr. Trump.”
“Where did you get that information and is there any money in it for me?”
“Yes, once each week you can keep all the chips that you can pick up off the carpet in one of Mr. Trump’s casinos.”
“Look here, leave the humor to me. But I’ll mull over your offer.”
“We’ll be back in touch. So stay near your phone.”
“OK, but don’t make it a collect call.”
“Henry, you’ve got me laughing already. You really have the touch.”
Click…dial tone…….
A least 5 would be FAR FAR better than the disaster in the White House now. And there are SEVERAL cabinet members on the stage too.
We’ll have to purge all the gov’t agencies that are infested with radical anti-American liberals. That’s where Bush made a bIG mistake. He left these cretins in place, and they worked against the country behind his back. Then blamed him, to the thill of the media.
Liberalism is being proven a VERY FALSE religion. We can really damage it if we run a scorched earth campaign. And we have the people to do it. The stage shows that.
Yes indeed.A great night.I was always curious about Megan Kelley’s relationship with for Obama hac man Bill Burton. We found out last night that she is a true femi-nazi and a Democrat.
I looked at some of my liberal FB Friends comments. They are SQUIRMING. While Hate Speech lofted Obama, I don’t think that’s going to work for Hillary, especially after what they have done to America.
and if nothing else the gOP candidates are clearly pointing out the mess the Democrats have made of the nation.
Thought I’d back up my comment earlier with this link. Megyn Kelly bucks a lot of the Republican stuff when it comes to women’s issues. Here she is laying into Erickson.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbvSn0Vp4pE
