GOTTA MAINTAIN THAT ONE PERCENT STANDING IN THE PRESIDENTIAL POLLS …
|| By FITSNEWS || When Lindsey Graham‘s 2014 reelection to the U.S. Senate was still very much in doubt, he made an overt appeal to the Palmetto State’s social conservative community on the issue of abortion.
Forgotten about that?
Now that Graham’s U.S. Senate seat is secure for the next five years, though, he’s decided to put his Quixotic presidential bid ahead of the needs of the unborn.
Unlike U.S. Senators Ted Cruz of Texas, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Marco Rubio of Florida, Graham will miss this week’s roll call votes in the U.S. Senate aimed at defunding Planned Parenthood – a government-subsidized abortion provider which has recently been busted selling the harvested body parts of unborn babies.
Yeah … that’s happening.
Graham’s argument is that the GOP doesn’t have the sixty votes in needs to overcome a Democratic filibuster of the bill – thus rendering his presence in the chamber moot.
That’s not the point, though … the point is this is his job.
“His record will be tarnished somewhat by his non-attendance,” the website Life News noted.
Just “somewhat?”
Despite an uptick in public support for a more interventionist foreign policy, the warmongering Graham is still struggling to clear the one percent threshold in his presidential politicking. Yet he’s going to bail on the one issue he nakedly exploited at the most vulnerable point in his political career?
Yup …

This is going to hurt Graham more: http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/news/local/article29839471.html#storylink=cpy
But Graham is still more qualified than Hickery Clinton.
But that’s like saying Stalin was a better murderer than Pol Pot.
The gutless wonder refuses to take a stance. Imagine that.
You said it perfectly. How can a self-described “conservative republican” not even bother to show up to vote on this? What could be more important than this vote? Mick Mulvaney said it best when asked if he’d be willing to shut down the government if de-funding planned parenthood was the crux of the budget debate: (paraphrasing) “If we don’t take a stand on this, what can we stand for?” I don’t care who runs against Graham in the next primary….he (or she) has my vote.
I will probably vote democrat before I vote for Graham
I KNOW that I would. At least with a Democrat, you have truth-in-labeling. With Lindsey, you have a liberal Democrat in “conservative” clothing.
So, Mick Mulvaney would shut down the government over funding for women to get breast and uterine cancer screenings and birth control?
Man, he’s got his priorities straight.
fuck that pos. He will never be president of the USA. and he knows it. He is only running so his special interest can pay him off via donations to his campaign fund.
Like every republican candidate. What’s the big deal?
And democrats don’t accept contributions? As far as I know Trump is the only financing his won campaign and he is running as a republican. So much for your “every republican” claim.
Well he can’t have a baby successor out of his ass, can he.

That’s how GT and I had our first. They’re called ‘butthole babies”
Way to funny for that faggot of SC.
Gutless, spineless RINO. No surprise here.
Another thought, Why should Lindsay have to worry about abortion. There is 0 chance that he will ever impregnate a woman.
One day, if medical science comes far enough, he may hope to impregnate a man.
Lindsay Graham with Caitlyn (Bruce) Jenner as a running mate in 2016. Or would Jenner be the first lady?
My understanding is that Jenner still has the hots for women. Poor Lindsey will have to find another feminine athletic dude to fawn over.

I can’t believe you have the guts or fortitude to even contribute on FitsNews anymore after your ‘coming to Hitler’ moment about Planned Parenthood and the unborn.
Carry on.
Planned Parenthood – a
government-subsidized abortion provider which has recently been busted
selling the harvested body parts of unborn babies.
this is a God damned lie!
Explain.
We investigated it and found no wrongdoing on PP’s part.
You can cast your line in a puddle but don’t expect to catch fish from it.
IT’S ON TAPE!!!
That tape is a joke and so are you.
You are no different than Hitler…Hitler didn’t value the sanctity of life.
Hitler gas em…you Democrats suck their brain out and sell em.Hitler was more humane than you clowns.
Did any of the videos originate from PP facilities in MA and Indiana?
FOR PROFIT!!!!!!
With today’s communication capabilities you would think it would be simple enough to rig the last stall of the mens room at the I-85 rest stop for voting.
Hah! +100
What Lindsey will NOT miss is the next Elton John concert–and no doubt the coward will take along Kagan and Sotomayor
They’ll chuckle about how they think they’ve fooled God with blasphemous gay “marriage”–it’s what reprobates are for !!!
Lindsey Graham calls a sperm bank a smorgasbord.
Q: What does Lindsey call a mixture of maggots and cum?
A: Tapioca pudding
Cluck, cluck, cluck …. Cluck.
He screwed the veterans too! Three-Month Surface Transportation Extension and Veterans Health Care ? Passage – Vote Passed (91-4, 5 Not Voting)
The Senate passed a bill that would extend the authorization for federal-aid highway and transit programs through Oct. 29, 2015. Authority to spend money from the Highway Trust Fund would also be extended through that date. The bill would transfer $8.1 billion from the Treasury to replenish the Highway Trust Fund and cover projected shortfalls so that construction projects could continue to be fully funded during that time (the amount transferred would cover projected trust fund shortfalls through the end of the year). The measure also would allow the Veterans Affairs Department (VA) to use $3.4 billion from the Veterans Choice Fund to pay for care provided – from May 1 to Oct. 1, 2015 – to veteran patients by non-VA providers under VA Care in the Community programs.
Sen. Lindsey Graham voted Not Voting
Sen. Tim Scott voted YES
I hate to be the one to break it to you, but if it passed with 91 votes and he was one of 5 who did not vote (probably including Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz – who have both hardly voted on anything at all for the entire year), that’s hardly screwing over veterans.
He just knew his vote wasn’t needed and didn’t matter.
I despise Lindsey. But, some arguments for the sake of arguments against him are just silly.
We put you in the Senate to represent us (that includes voting) NOT to run for POTUS! First do one job well, THEN seek another position.
Lindsey wants to stay away from DC after that 8/3/15 Washington Post story about his entire un-storied military career and $2000+ monthly pension he is now receiving.
“Graham’s argument is that the GOP doesn’t have the sixty votes in needs to overcome a Democratic filibuster of the bill – thus rendering his presence in the chamber moot.
That’s not the point, though … the point is this is his job.”
Excellent point. Lindsey is a legend… in his own mind.

Lindsay has been depressed since TrumpGate and having to debate at the kiddie’s table. LOL
