REPORT: “LUV GOV’S” CONGRESSIONAL OFFICE IS “NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY” IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
|| By FITSNEWS || U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford (a.k.a. “the Luv Gov,” “Congressman TMI”) is back in the national news.
And not in a good way …
The latest rat to scurry from Sanford’s sinking ship – his longtime confidante and most recent chief of staff Scott English – has drawn the attention of Washington, D.C. “social anthropologist” Kate Bennett.
Specifically, Bennett has caught on to the fact Sanford has lost “his fourth chief of staff in 18 months.” To a stamp collecting club, too.
“The buzz on the Hill is that it’s hard to stay loyal to someone who’s exposed his staff to so much unsavory publicity,” Bennett wrote of English’s departure.
Wait … is she talking about his girl problems? Or his ideological fellating of liberal U.S. Speaker of the House John Boehner? Or that new book revealing what a total jerk-off he is?
Hmmm …
From Bennett’s story …
”It sounds to me like Mark Sanford has joined the Betty Sutton Terrible Bosses Caucus,” says one former congressional staffer, referring to the former Ohio congresswoman who went through a large number of staffers. As for English’s departure, another insider says it’s likely the result of working in a Congressional office “that hasn’t exactly been taken seriously by anyone on the Hill.”
Ouch …
Translation? Sanford’s office is a joke – meaning when residents of the first congressional district need their concerns taken seriously in Washington, D.C., they are S.O.L.
We were the first outlet to break the news of English’s departure … and more importantly the “how” behind the story.
And while English refuses to speak to us, he did offer Bennett a quote …
I have had a long and somewhat storied career and I’m now looking forward to using my college history degree; stamp collecting is a means to that end.
Wait … what?
A “long and storied career?”
Who in the hell does this guy think he is? And seriously: What sort of “long and storied career” winds up at a stamp collecting club?
Sheesh …
Sounds to us like Sanford’s chronic narcissism has grown increasingly contagious …
RAPID REACTION
@fitsnews Da former Luv Guv obviously getttin' no love in th' DC. Maybe it's time for him to take a hike … https://t.co/YHQztMLlya

“I’ve had a long and storied career …”
Translation: “I’ve never done anything that any of you have actually heard about, so I’ve made up a bunch of long stories that I’ll tell you — if you pay for the next few rounds.”
I’ve more jobs than anyone in SC. Will you pay now.
Buzzman would say that those kinds of “jobs” don’t count.
I don’t think he lives with his mother in HER house, does he?
Tango lives with his girlfriend’s mother. I know, big surprise…he has a girlfriend…LOL!
Fat asses English was mainly known for not returning phone calls, making decisions in a vacuum, and weighing 400 pounds.
He masterminded the Zais administration, that has disappeared without a trace.
Fat boy English misspoke. His career has been average. No more,, no less.
Honestly speaking, who’s congressional office us taken seriously?
DC is a joke.
And what kind of bullshit do nothing job is a “social anthropologist” ? And who pays for any tripe she spills?
What a bunch of crap.
I know, I mean its a science thing, so as Republican we are very skeptical that its real and we know we probably don’t really need it.
LOL!
Didn’t you mean “science thingy “
that whole science thing… you know… it’s like… not good… and stuff.
Go by gut feel….
stop, and smell the posers.
Yet, Sanford will overwhelmingly be re-elected by the simpletons he represents.
Great point: That says a lot about how filthy, corrupt and low-down the Democrat Party has sunk.
They don’t have a candidate that can even come close to this reprobate.
If the Democrats don’t so a MAJOR overhaul of their Hate-America, party of disaster and failure brand, the party may just doe all over the country like it is dead in SC.
No one like to starve so elitist political clowns, like Obama and Hillary can like like royalty.
Yeh it’s the Democrats fault that dumb Republican kooks like you nominate this goof.
Obamacare, astronomical utility bills, little-to-no GDP growth, double-digit TRUE unemployment for 6 years, years-long recession, $9 Trillion in deficit spending in ONE term, Record-high food stamps, Nuclear Iran, skyrocketing poverty rate, IRS persecution of political enemies, ….
Need I go on you fucking idiot???…
4 Worst Presidents for deficit spending, notice that the only President since Reagan that is not on the list is Clinton…a Democrat…
You are letting your hate cloud your objectivity…
President Barack Obama
President Obama has the largest deficits, totaling $6.8 trillion projected for his eight years in office. Obama started off launching the $787 billion economic stimulus package that cut taxes, extended unemployment benefits, and funded job-creating public works projects. The Obama tax cut added $858 billion to the debt in its first two years. Most important was increased defense spending, which added as much as $800 billion a year. Federal income decreased due to lower tax receipts from the 2008 financial crisis.
Both Presidents Bush and Obama had to contend with higher mandatory spending for Social Security and Medicare than their predecessors did. That’s because health care costs were rising, and the American population was aging. In 2010, Obama launched the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to reduce the debt by $143 billion by 2020. For more, see National Debt Under Obama.
President George W. Bush
President Bush is next, racking up $3.294 trillion over two terms. He responded to the attacks on 9/11 with the War on Terror, driving military spending to at least $600 billion a year. The Bush tax cuts, also known as EGTRRA and JGTRRA, cut taxes to address the 2001 recession. Unfortunately, the cuts did not sunset when the recession was over, adding to the housing boom and depleting revenues during the 2008 recession.
President Ronald Reagan
President Reagan added $1.412 trillion in deficits during his two terms. He fought the 1982 recession by cutting the top income tax rate from 70% to 28%, and the corporate rate from 48% to 34%. He also increased government spending by 2.5% a year. This included a 35% increase in the defense budget, and an expansion of Medicare. Although $1.412 trillion doesn’t sound like a lot, compared to 2012 debt levels, in fact Reagan’s economic policies nearly doubled the debt during his Presidency.
President George H.W. Bush
President George H.W. Bush racked up a $1.03 trillion deficit in one term. He responded to Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait with Desert Storm. He oversaw the $125 billion bailout to end the 1989 Savings and Loan crisis. Part of his deficit was due to lost tax revenue from the 1991 recession.
Although most other Presidents ran deficits, none comes close to these four.

Facts! Facts! Facts! Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!
You want facts:
When you IGNORE national security, it’s easy spend less, especially when you’ve got Newt knocking the living shit out of you, everytime you tried to Obama us (Bankrupt us.) That’s the only reason Clinton’s economy was not as bad. The GOP Congress ran that show.
And: Bush had to fight wars that Clinton was responsible for. And his spending was still paltry until the Democrat Congress took over.
And Reagan had Democrats in Congress to deal with, yet he was responsible, like Bush, for over overseeing an economy that was ROBUST, and generated revenues.
Obama, and the Democrats, SUCK on ALL counts.
“Obama, and the Democrats, SUCK on ALL counts.”
It SUCKS to be YOU.
Ahaha! You’re not going to see a Republican president in a very long time, Dumbass!
“Reagan’s economic policies nearly doubled the debt during his Presidency”
That is a fact even Obama can’t match
lol…yes he will…thanks to ‘simpletons’ like Will. LMAO!!!
In the 1990s, Sanford was the most disliked Congress member (by staff) in all of DC.
The fact that you’re just becoming aware of this, is a testament to your ignorance and lack political acumen.
If a man can walk out on the woman he swore before God and family to cherish and support, while the four boys who love him more than life stood by in heartbreak, why in the world would he care about some jockeying, small-minded politicos in the din of whores known as Washington?
According to a passage in Swaim’s book, Sanford would naturally relish the attention of good press but he also got off on the attention from the bad press of 2008-2009. All that centrality and drama is a win-win for Sanford. He can spin it through his cycling of rage, charm, and pity to good effect. Typical behavior when dealing with Narcissist Personality Disorder.
That makes 2 congressional offices that are not taken seriously. Joe Wilson’s staff is a bunch of hopeless lightweights with no clout who are also not taken seriously. His DC office avoids any interaction on anything except capitol tours. The District office led by that idiot Butch Wallace is a real joke. They lie and make promises of help and then good luck ever hearing from them again. It’s always someone else’s fault that a constitutent can’t get help, or if helping one constituent may piss off another then Wilson is nowhere to be found. BTW, Wilson has received NO federal funding for roads and don’t forget he gave away the money that was available years ago for bypass. In retrospect, Wilson’s office is a bunch of worthless slugs. Could even be worse than Sanfrauds.
You lie!

That was the one accuracy from Wilson’s lips. But like Sanford, he has a credibility problem.
Got that right! The West Columbia office crowd is a joke. Nobody knows anything and Wallace is just a chauffeur. DC office is no better. Cantbelieve our tax dollars pay for these morons.
Wilson’s office is a bunch of worthless slugs

YOU LIE! – (c) SCBlues.
Actually, you forgot the third sc office that’s a joke….that of Mr. Racecard Clyburn.
Joe Wilson is a total joke. 15 years in Congress and only chairs one lame subcommittee. No one takes him seriously in DC, he is a place holding ne’er do well, who is counted on as a consistent vote for the speaker. “Joe Means Jobs”? No Joe means his job and his job only.
South Carolina: a state of idiots that vote on party only and dont care if their candidate is a lying sociapathic man whore liar criminal!!!
You described a Democrat. If Sanford was honest about what he is, he would not win.
Not to mention: It’s the Libertarian First District that elected Sanford, not the state of S.C.
And: Sanford would have been impeached as Gov. if it were not for FITSNews promising to spread dirty laundry on any GA member who voted to impeach.
Your right! Sanford has only been married once. He needs to take a page out of Rush’s and Newt’s playbook if he really wants to act like a Republican.
Are Rush and Newt in office, you dumb fuck?
And maybe they should be like Bill Clinton, who just lied, and had a woman liberal-sick enough to take him crapping all over her, making her look like a fool.
Are Rush and Newt in office, you dumb fuck?
——–
Does stupid come naturally, or do you have to rehearse for it?
Me thinks, it is a duality in purpose.
TOUCHE!!!!!!!!!!
What will those stamp collectors do when they come int the office on a Monday mo ring and find all their stamps eaten, and Scott English laying there on the floor, burping and farting?
“…meaning when residents of the first congressional district need their concerns taken seriously in Washington, D.C., they are S.O.L.”
Now, surely, carpet bagging Sanford’s carpet bagging constituents elected him for his Libertarian purity, fealty to atheist Ayn Rand, passion for meaningless political gesture and not constituent services.
Sanford reminds me of the odor in the room, maybe church or the Jaycees, when someone farts. You don’t know who but you suspect. And the odor lingers and everyone is in agony but they cannot do anything about it. And the smell permeates but people are too polite to complain.
Well Mr. Folks your “long and storied career” had you running a blog…
To borrow a quote from an old movie , ‘they shoot horses, don’t they’ ?
South Carolina has some history of sending feckless pols in Washington. When I lived in DC in the early nineties Ol’ Strom was a laughingstock. He was a doddering, senile, empty shell of a man who the voters of SC kept re-electing.
As Will piled on another reprobate politician he (again)
walked himself out on a limb
By strangely omitting that the first reprobates here are
Sanford’s voters who elected him !!!
