ESTABLISHMENT “REPUBLICANS” RALLY ROUND THEIR LIBERAL LEADER
|| By FITSNEWS || U.S. Speaker of the House John Boehner is a whiny, weepy alcoholic. Which is fine. He can cry and get drunk all he wants.
Our beef with the guy? He’s the latest – and most liberal – in a long line of “Republican” leaders who have fundamentally failed to uphold their party’s so-called support for “less government and lower taxes.”
At literally every turn since taking over the U.S. House in 2011, Boehner has turned in the wrong direction – caving to the administration of Barack Obama (and sticking you with the check).
Back in January, we called on the Palmetto State’s “conservative” GOP congressional delegation to pull their support for Boehner’s renomination as Speaker, calling it a “gut check” vote.
They didn’t … and he’s gone even further off the deep end.
Well one lawmaker has had enough …
In an unprecedented move, U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows filed a motion this week to “vacate the chair.”
Meadows’ beef? That Boehner “has endeavored to consolidate power and centralize decision-making, bypassing the majority of the 435 Members of Congress and the people they represent.”
Meadows’ motion also levels a more serious charge – that Boehner’s perpetual accommodation of Obama has made “Congress subservient to the Executive and Judicial branches, diminishing the voice of the American People.”
He’s absolutely right …
Sadly, rather than stand up for their constituents establishment “Republicans” in Congress are rushing to Boehner’s defense.
“People are angry that somebody would pull this stunt,” liberal U.S. Rep. Greg Walden of Oregon told Fox News.
Another liberal “Republican” – U.S. Rep. Devin Nunes of California – accused Meadows of filing the motion as a fundraising gimmick.
Frankly, we don’t care whether Meadows’ motion is a gimmick or not: It’s a chance to get rid of a guy who has repeatedly acted in the best interests of the Obama administration and the Washington establishment – and against the best interests of the American people.
We would reiterate our call from January: Especially as it relates to the so-called “conservative” South Carolina congressional delegation.
From our post seven months ago …
Here’s the bottom line: If U.S. Reps. Jeff Duncan, Trey Gowdy, Mick Mulvaney, Tom Rice, Mark Sanford and Joe Wilson wish to continue promoting themselves as “fiscal conservatives,” then they must oppose the renomination of U.S. Speaker of the House John Boehner (who has rightfully lost the support of the “Republican” base).
Duncan was the only one who stood strong then.
Let’s hope Gowdy, Mulvaney, Rice, Sanford and Wilson join him this time.

It sure would be nice to have a two party system, instead of just the DC party.
The DC party is more important to these moderates than anything else. Whether it be (R/D) or (D/R) the same thing happens. Obummer gets what he wants and we listen to the promises of “if you elect me we will fix the problem.” The problem is the fixers aren’t fixing anything but their nest. This Boehner thing should have been fixed a long time ago. If ANY of our reps. vote for him they should be primaried and replaced by someone that will vote him out next vote.
They are All the same, liars, cheats, self serving…VOTE ALL OUT!!
Then they can enjoy their very lucrative taxpayer funded retirements, that NONE deserve!
cool username.
I will be tracking that vote, if it ever occurs.

??????????????????????????????????????
Id like to see a 4 party system: Socially and Fiscally Liberal, Socially and Fiscally Conservative, Social Conservative Fiscal Liberal, and Social Liberal Fiscal Conservative.
That would effectivly end pandering because 1 issue wouldnt be enough to divide the country
I would like to see Boehner replaced. We need someone in that position that will speak their mind and stand up for conservative principles.
I’d like to see Gohmert – the entertainment value alone would be gret.
This Meadows guy better hope he is successful, otherwise he will be crushed like a bug by the leadership.
Boehner isn’t so bad, he has managed to be bipartisan when it mattered. Who cares that the crazies don’t like him.
This won’t end well for him. Particularly now that the Chamber of Commerce has Boehner’s back, and is taking Johnny’s list to go over the right wing guys.
Joe-I-Lie-To-Conservatives-Wilson said Wednesday—well uh…sure
I voted for my good friend John RINO Boehner—thought there was much in it for
me
You know—like I voted to give the Moslem-In-Chief fast-track
and to savage the flag so hey—remember I’m the best hypocrite…uh…conservative
in SC !!!
How can turmoil in the GOP be anything but good for America?
The vampires feeding on the ghouls.
How can turmoil in the Dumbacraps be anything but GREAT for America?
The Poltergeist feeding the Devil!
There fixed it for you!
From Politico: “North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows had heard from leading conservatives that trying to oust Speaker John Boehner right now was a bad idea.
Reps. Mick Mulvaney (R-S.C.) and Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), fierce and frequent critics of leadership, thought the move was ill-advised.”
Boehner is like the nastiest kind of dog shit imaginable on the shoe of the Republican Party and of yhis country.
