Actually he is being supported by those that believe the rule of law still prevails in this country.
Trump knows that Democrats can’t win elections anymore in this country without importing NEW voters (illegal immigrants). His campaign has elevated the immigration issue as the number 1 issue in 2016. It fits nicely with ‘closet’ muslim Obama’s shredding of the Constitution and appeasement of our enemies around the world.
Bye Bye Hillary.

But this post exactly is the reason why Trump is leading, and why he’ll run an independent bid. Think back to Perot in 1992. What Perot was tapping into was aged blue collar workers, the aging “Reagan Democrats”, many of whom had become Republicans. The economy at that time was now requiring “some college” for skilled manufacturing jobs, and older workers didn’t like that. They were being left out. Cubans were taking over Miami. It fostered itself further with this “new world order” crap, and stuff like that. And we heard the same stuff, the Constitution was being shredded, we negotiated bad trade deals, blah blah blah. And Trump is tapping into the next generations of “left behinds” or people who are upset that the past isn’t the present. Today, high skilled manufacturing jobs require even more advanced education. Their grand kids can’t make $35K out of high school. Gay marriage, Obamacare (which is easy to hate when you get government supplied Medicare). Donald Trump is representing the people from an earlier time, nativists who don’t like the multi-culturalism they see today, despite it being a 150 year old cycle in our country. So just look at this post above – New World Order replaced with Closet Muslim, Cubans replaced with Mexicans, and “shredding” the Constitution – which given his supports lack of even college education, makes one wonder their credentials as Constitutional experts.

Trump is doing what most politicians are scared to death to do. Actually stand for something. By having the vast amount of money to self fund his campaign he is immune to the lobbyists’ and funders most other candidates have to keep happy. If he continues on like he is going and doesn’t flame out he could go all the way. He is saying what America needs and deserves to hear. I see where RINO McConnell has lied to America again with the Ex/IM bank and Kate’s law.

Romano must be math-challenged if he thinks the crazy 20% of the Republican base is enough to win in November, let alone secure the nomination.

I agree with you, he will not get the nomination, the Republican field is so fractured that issues that are high on the concern list for a smaller segment will get press time with Trump. He is the only candidate stressing illegal immigration and it is serving him well, at the present time.
Can’t wait till he gets the opportunity to take on and lite up Hillary’s crooked ass.

Illegal Immigration, an issue that the Republican establishment won’t address but is very a concern of a large percentage of Republican voters and the general population.
When Obama opened up the borders during his second term, most Republicans in Washington were fearful to even bring the issue to the forefront.
Trump is just tapping into political emotions that have always been there about our ‘open borders,’ good for him.

“a concern of a large percentage of GOP voters and the general population” – really? Let’s see, 24% support Trump, out of 35% of the population. That’s about 8.5% of the general population. Oh my, such a large majority.

The Republican Establishment July 27, 2015 at 2:08 pm

Those of us in the Establishment want to just let you know that Donald Trump will never win the GOP nomination. I know many of you think this is fun, be we do not. And it is our money that Donald needs for his hotel developments. So get this straight, we’ll let him do his thing a bit longer, but as sure as we’ll re-instate the Ex Im Bank, we will put this revolt down. Now you can whine all you want, but you WILL vote for us. You may scream about Mitch McConnell and John Boehner today, but in the end you WILL vote for Jeb. Because let’s face it, we’re all you have, and you will do as we say. You always have, and you always will. We may throw you a bone, and talk about abortion of something, but we run this show. Not you. Voters? You’re Voters? Hah!!! Wake up and realize, you vote for us, or Hillary wins. And if that happens, for us, it’s the same. We’ll still get our government contracts, we’ll get our bailouts, and we’ll get our sweet deals. And you’ll get nothing. Either way. So shut up and get in line, or not!!! We really don’t care what you think. You have no money, no clout, and nothing to offer us except your numeric vote. And if you don’t want to give it to us, fine – there are 13 million Mexicans we can make citizens and split with the Democrats.

GOTRUMP July 27, 2015 at 6:01 pm

The attack from the Republican establishment and the Koch Brother operatives went into overdrive this past week. Every news show had some “Republican” bashing Trump and saying how he could not possibly be the nominee. That means the Republican establishment and the Koch Brothers are worried. The establishment sees Trump as a threat to their power, and he is running way ahead of the Koch Brother bought and paid for candidates. The Kochs hate him because they cannot buy him.

Don’t let them tell you he can’t win. If he continues to crush the competition in the polls they will have to accept the inevitable and get behind him.
