ERODED OPPORTUNITY … CONVENIENT SCAPEGOATING
|| By FITSNEWS || You know what? Enough is enough …
Maybe it’s Donald Trump‘s devil-may-care presidential bid, maybe it’s something else … but we’re done playing along with the narrative.
Over the course of the last month, this website led the media charge to take down the Confederate flag in South Carolina. We were the first media outlet in the state to call for the banner to come down, the first to suggest how it could be accomplished sooner rather than later and the only outlet to explain the real historical context behind this divisive debate (here and here).
It boiled down to this: We didn’t think the flag should have ever been “re-hoisted” in the first place. And to the extent we were indifferent about its presence over the years, we came to believe our indifference wasn’t sufficient justification to continue needlessly offending people.
Basically that’s the same view advanced by S.C. Rep. Michael A. Pitts, who emerged as the leading defender of the flag during the recently concluded legislative debate over the banner.
But given the way that debate played out – and given the latest developments in the case of the criminal case which led to the flag’s removal – we’re almost to the point of regretting our advocacy.
At the very least, we’re ready to lay out in no uncertain terms what we really believe caused the tragedy which led to the flag debate.
Guess what: It wasn’t racism. Nor was it guns. Nor was it drug abuse. Or mental illness. And it sure as hell wasn’t a flag.
And it’s time to start saying all these things … loudly, clearly and unapologetically.

THE CRIME …
On June 17, 2015 at around 9:00 p.m. EDT, a 21-year-old white supremacist named Dylann Storm Roof pulled a Glock 41 .45 caliber handgun from under his shirt and began opening fire on those who had gathered inside the Mother Emanuel AME church in Charleston, S.C. for a weekly Bible study.
The jobless, troubled drifter had been sitting alongside Mother Emanuel’s pastor, S.C. Senator Clementa Pinckney, for nearly an hour when he launched his attack. They had been praying. Reading God’s word. Searching for answers.
Nine people died at Roof’s hand. Along with Pinckney, he killed Bible study members Cynthia Marie Graham Hurd, 54, Susie Jackson, 87, Depayne Middleton, 49, Myra Thompson, 59 and Tywanza Sanders, 26. Reverends Daniel Simmons, 74, and Sharonda Singleton, 45, were also killed in the attack, as was the church’s sexton Ethel Lee Lance, 70.
Nine people. With lives. Friends. Families. Children.
Roof later said he almost didn’t go through with it because everyone in the church “had been so nice” to him.
But he did go through with it, hoping to incite a “race war” that would advance his recently acquired white supremacist world views.
Incidentally, speaking of Roof’s intended outcome, the world owes the family and friends of his victims an incalculable debt of gratitude. Their willingness to extend Christian forgiveness to this unrepentant murderer – who slaughtered their loved ones in cold blood – is probably the most inconceivably beautiful thing we’ve ever seen.
It stands as the very definition of saving grace – whether Roof ever accepts that grace or not.
It also probably saved South Carolina from going up in flames …
Anyway, we’ve frequently referred to this crime as “horrific” and “racially motivated.” Because it was. We’ve also used terms like “calculated,” “premeditated,” and “gruesome” to describe it. And yes, Roof had some issues with drugs. And probably mental illness too. But those factors – along with his ridiculous flag-toting pictures and sophomoric references to white supremacist regimes in Africa – are at the fringes of what really precipitated this violence.
The real killer is something far more sinister (and far more widespread than we know): It’s desperation. Fear. And yes, ignorance.
Which our culture is breeding.
And all of those things are ultimately flowing from the same place, a pervasive erosion of economic opportunity that’s impacting all of us … and which is only getting worse. Yet while we are all in this fight together – white and black, man and woman, gay and straight – we continue to be conditioned into believing the enemy is “us” (or subsets of us). You know, as opposed to a corrupt, debt-addled political establishment that’s crushing our futures – and a supplicant mainstream media establishment serving up ready-made scapegoats in an effort to divide and deflect the blame.

THE REAL MOTIVE …
During a recent radio appearance in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina, this website’s founding editor Will Folks was asked to assess the Palmetto State’s fundamental problem.
“We’ve got far too few people working – and the ones who are working make far too little,” he said.
Indeed. South Carolina’s labor participation rate is among the nation’s worst – as are its income levels. Our state is dirt poor, uneducated and held back by an antiquated government structure. And while that structure may have been borne in Jim Crow racism, it has been preserved and expanded by white and black lawmakers with equal zeal.
Failure – economically, academically and with respect to our quality of life – has been greeted for decades by bigger government, more bureaucracy and a bigger bill for taxpayers. Which has gutted opportunity and wealth creation for all but a privileged few. It didn’t matter whether Democrats or Republicans were in charge, the answer in South Carolina to any problem has always been the same: Throw more money at it.
Not surprisingly, doing the same thing over and over … has changed nothing. In fact it’s only made things worse, squandering the work ethic of our people, the fruits of their labor and our state’s abundant natural resources.
We’ve pissed away our state’s many competitive advantages … with the result being a third world banana republic that leads the nation in all the wrong categories.
You know, like the number of mobile homes. Not coincidentally, it was in one of these prefabricated abodes of hopelessness that the unemployed drifter Dylann Roof plotted his attack.
Roof slept on pillows on the floor. He drank vodka. Played video games. Surfed the web on his computer. According to the government, he was what’s known in surveillance state lingo as a “self-radicalized lone wolf.”
Take Roof’s own words …
The event that truly awakened me was the Trayvon Martin case. I kept hearing and seeing his name, and eventually I decided to look him up. I read the Wikipedia article and right away I was unable to understand what the big deal was. It was obvious that Zimmerman was in the right. But more importantly this prompted me to type in the words “black on White crime” into Google, and I have never been the same since that day. The first website I came to was the Council of Conservative Citizens. There were pages upon pages of these brutal black on White murders. I was in disbelief. At this moment I realized that something was very wrong. How could the news be blowing up the Trayvon Martin case while hundreds of these black on White murders got ignored?
It’s no secret Roof became radicalized. And it’s no secret his radicalization took the form of garden variety white supremacy. And it’s no secret his white supremacy was the immediate cause of the bloodshed he unleashed on the world.
But the question no one is asking is … why?
What launched this chain of events?
***
THE REAL EVIL …
It’s been said idle hands are the devil’s workshop. Well Roof’s hands were idle. And on top of that his mind was feeble.
Seriously: Other than those of us in the media (or paid agitators), who sits around and obsesses over the intricacies of the Trayvon Martin case? Who spends hours on the Internet googling “black on white crime?” Or pouring through “pages upon pages” of search results?
Certainly not someone with a job. Or real responsibilities.
People with productive lives have no time to get lost in the weeds of the web.
Hell, Roof’s trailer park buddies said as much …
“He spent a lot of time on the Internet – and believed everything that was in it,” one told The (U.K.) Daily Mail.
It’s not a complicated progression when you stop and think about it: Joblessness leads to hopelessness, hopelessness leads to fear, fear leads to blame and blame leads to scapegoats.
And yes, the internet is full of scapegoats … with fringe sites on the left and right giddily stoking the same division that’s being advanced by the mainstream media.
Does any of this excuse Roof’s conceiving of such an attack – let alone his carrying it out? Hell no. Never in a million years. Nor does it even excuse the initial scapegoating and radicalization which precipitated the planning and execution of his barbaric assault. Roof (and Roof alone) is responsible for how he chose to respond to his circumstances … and we continue to believe he should pay for his choice with his life.
But killing Roof isn’t going to address these underlying circumstances any more than lowering the Confederate flag did.
It’s justice … but it’s not a solution.
In other words it will make a lot of people happy, but it’s not going to improve their lives.

THE RESPONSE …
Many will dispute the basic premise of this column. Or find it insensitive. Or outlandish. Or an excuse for us to promote our libertarian economic views at the expense of a tragedy.
Okay. We get that. But if that’s your response, then you ought to know what’s been written here is comparatively mild.
Let’s not forget how the “secular humanists” responded to the Holy City Massacre. Oh, and consider this headline (also emanating from the far leftward reaches of the political spectrum) …
(Pic provided)
Yeah. That’s sort of what we’re saying … in reverse.
Oh, and let’s not forget U.S. president Barack Obama and presumed 2016 Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton – who couldn’t wait for the blood on the floor at Mother Emanuel to dry before blaming the whole attack on people’s access to guns.
The “bitter clingers” narrative again.
Never mind that it was the federal government’s own background check system which screwed up and allowed Roof to purchase a gun.
Now the government is pushing to add “hate crimes” to the existing state charges against Roof, arguing “the Charleston shooting was so horrific and racially motivated that the federal government must address it.” And that federal officials “believe that a murder case alone would leave the racial component of the crime unaddressed.”
Please.
Anyone who takes another human being’s life is guilty of a hate crime.
As we wrote …
Roof has confessed to these savage murders. He’s also acknowledged his racist motive in committing them. He’s been captured on video entering (and presumably leaving) the church at the time of the attack. Also, survivors from the attack will no doubt positively identify him as the perpetrator of the crime.
In other words, this is an open and shut case. And when it’s all said and done, Roof is likely to receive the death penalty for committing this crime … as he should.
What else is there?
Do we really need to add some politically correct “teachable moment” to this narrative? And do we really need or want the federal government imposing its authority/ wasting our resources to pursue this “teachable moment?”
No we do not.
The racist nature of Roof’s crime is indisputable and unavoidable. And he will be held accountable for it. Likely (hopefully) with his life. Imposing such duplicative prosecutorial authority in this case serves no purpose other than to inflame tensions.
But that’s the point is it?
The federal government and its propagandists in the fourth estate don’t want “teachable moments.” They want to keep propping up the establishments creating the economic malaise. And once they’ve sucked every bit of life out of taxpayers, that’s when they start amplifying the scapegoating.
And why not? Keeping the working poor and middle class (of all races, religious, genders and sexual orientations) hopelessly and eternally divided serves their purposes.
Bottom line: They want the race war every bit as much as Roof does.
As the debate over the Confederate flag wound down, this website began urging lawmakers to start showing the same urgency in addressing the state’s chronic economic, academic and quality of life issues that they showed in addressing the since-removed banner.
But that’s never going to happen.
The status quo will never allow widespread tax relief because then it wouldn’t be able to afford billion-dollar handouts for Boeing. Nor will it ever allow parental choice to truly flourish because doing so would vaporize the vast majority of its patronage – to say nothing of its ability to continue indoctrinating our children.
And the mainstream media will never truly expose these evils because it’s getting fat off the special interest tax breaks, too.
You see, they know better than you. And they’ll keep dumbing you down … so you never forget it.
Sooner or later though, somebody’s going to start telling the damned truth. We just figured it might as well be us. And it might as well be now.

WTF?
Actually it was the lexington County sheriffs departments mistake not the federal government
That doesn’t matter to these guys, all governments are hated equally.
Actually, The feds had enough to act off of but failed to act because they wanted the incident report. If they had someone, with the FBI, doing these checks that was familiar with the local area then they could have easily contacted the City of Columbia
Classic example of ‘garbage in – garbage out” thanks to SLED by way of Lexington and Columbia
And the Federal Bureau of Incompetence. They apparently are unable to understand Columbia West Columbia. All they had to do was use a phone book, or oh I don’t know CALL SLED AND ASK THEM what’s the difference between Columbia and West Columbia.
WRONGO It got fucked up in the Great State of South Carolina where it got upchanneled by SLED (South Carolina’s pride and “BEST” law enforcement agency)
Not defending SLED here (Stop Let’s Eat Donuts) has it’s own issue, but the Federal Bureau of Incompetence bears some of the blame for this screw up as well.
Roof was arrested at Columbiana, by Columbia Police, in Columbia, but in Lexington County. When he went to buy a gun at Shooter’s Choice, the background check was done by the FBI who called Lexington County, who sent the checker to the police the checker called the West Columbia Police (This is where the FBI should have known better since the arresting agency would have still been listed as CPD) who had no record, instead of Columbia.
Also, Columbia’s ORI number would have been on the top of the booking sheet.
They certainly have differing ORI numbers in Orion, if they had bothered to check it.
“The feds had enough to act off of but failed to act because they wanted the incident report.”
If the feds had acted without an incident report, the gun nuts would cry because government is acting without due process.
If the feds wait until they have an incident report to act, the gun nuts blame the government for not wanting to stop this tragedy.
Jesus you people are retarded.
I take it that you are an anti-gun nut.
That’s quite true.
It’s not like it’s not deserved though.
It was the City of Columbia’s fault, for their shady, pseudo-illegal, shoe-string 1989 annexation across a 5 ft wide sand bar along the east side of the Broad River to snake their land-grabbing, money-grubbing, municipal borders into Lexington County, to take in the Columbiana Mall, and the resulting hundreds of thousands of property tax dollars, business license dollars, etc. Therefore, the jurisdiction where Roof was arrested on the drug charge, leading to the jurisdictional snafu at the Lex County Jail. The mall should have become part of Irmo, not creating questions as to what entity had arrested Roof in Lexington County. The FBI inspector was unable to get a response from the City of Columbia while doing the background check, after the LCSO washed their hands of the arrest, and any question about the charge. No shady Columbia annexation, no gun sold to Roof.
Yep, Lexington County strikes again. Mett’s team of finely honed professionals. Maybe they were too busy voiding tickets for the connected.
They were probably drinking vodka.
Will, please stop using these “poses” from this punk snot.
^What Shifty said^
Please don’t glorify this insect with his chosen poses.
Capital L Loser, was nothing but an empty vessel, ready for hate to be poured in to him, or religion, or cult stuff. Just about anything.
Roof should ALWAYS be shown with a rebel flag.
They should add his picture to the rebel flag.
Now wait just one damn minute………….
FITS (Sic Willie) blogged about two weeks ago about black gangs coming into South Carolina in response to the Confederate flag lovers and white power types and maybe, just maybe the race war that Roof wanted might just occur..
Shit didn’t happen – not one fucking bit (is it possible that FITS wanted a “little shit to happen”?).
In other words he talked it up just like some kid used to do when he wanted to egg on a fight between two boys in the school yard in the 3rd grade.
Perhaps FITS should have been looking in the mirror as he wrote this particular manifesto……..
“The real killer is something far more sinister and widespread than we know: It’s desperation. Fear. And yes, ignorance.”
Will, I do truly appreciate your willingness to spearhead so many things; especially your exposing of corruption, etc.. There is no doubt that many other media sources are far too concerned with “PC” and don’t have the “balls” to come out and say certain things, even when they believe these same “certain” things.
That said, is it not also entirely possible that this guy was just truly evil? No excuses, no explanations, or “cause-and-effect” relationships; rather, this ass clown was just a douchebag and simply evil?
I’m not so sure it necessarily wise to justify, explain, etc. all the world’s happenings. In fact, the exerted effort to do so is eerily analogous to the government’s effort to always justify, explain, etc. in hopes to create a new law or rule to prevent future repetitions.
There is a huge population of Losers of all colors with slim prospects for a decent life and zero hopes or aspirations that could become that kid just as easily. I believe everyone has positive and negative inside of them and they increase or decease each as their life develops or doesn’t.
There are large racist networks across the internet and among various regional areas that actively stoke people who happen to be dangerously on the edge of becoming the next Dylann Roof. Perhaps nobody actively plotted this with him, but do they have to? If he goes to websites daily that immerse him in cherry picked statistics, racist rhetoric, tons of racist symbols even if you ignore the confederate flag, and only god knows what else, is it really a surprise that this would stew inside of him? I’m sure a lot of those racists live normal productive lives and nobody is none the wiser, but guys like Dylann are one spark away from detonating and the same fire under his ass is going to result in quite a different outcome.
I’ll agree with you that this guy is pure evil. He probably would’ve done something insane and violent eventually. Maybe it would have been worse, maybe not quite as bad. At the end of the day though, racial hatred definitely played a role. You don’t take on symbols of white nationalism just to make a fashion statement.
All that to get to the same old Folks’ bottom line. It was the Boeing incentives and lack of school vouchers that were behind it all. Thanks for clearing that up Will.
Come to think of it, I have been noticing that pattern over the last few years…………
He should get at least 3 semester hours grad credit for the walk around the park he wrote to get us to, as Aerosmith sang, The Same Old Song and Dance
“Bottom line: They want the race war every bit as much as Roof does.”
-FITS NEWS
No truer words were ever spoken. It is part of the plan for the Dumbassification of America. The current Government needs a population of uninformed drones at each other’s throats to keep the Citizens from uniting and turning a laser focused beam on DC and the crap both parties are pulling. It never ceases to amaze me how many people can recite pop culture knowledge about who is gay, pregnant, getting married, getting divorced ad nausea, yet haven’t a clue who “represents” them or even how to vote. Also the people who couldn’t care less what a politician does as long as they have the right letter behind their name. I lean so right so I’m more vocal on the Ds maybe because I see the Media in the tank for them, but I sure don’t care for people can’t say anything is wrong with their R brand. If we don’t come together and neuter Washington and demand our Freedoms back there will be a tipping point that can’t be recovered from.
I’m sure Putin would agree with everything you posted
Go ahead and neuter the Feds. Hell, succeed again if that makes you happy.
Just be sure to let me know how that works out when the Russkies come ashore at Myrtle Beach……..
Ah, the Russian bogeyman, the reason we need to be enslaved by one regime; to keep from being enslaved by another. Kind of like we need to give up our rights to protect us from drugs or perhaps allow ourselves and our families to be groped, to protect us from terrorists. We have an all-knowing, all-wise government, in place to protect us from the world’s evils.
We need only sit back and watch (or not) as the work their wonderous wonders on our behalf and keep us safe.
Nope just saying that you “states rights” types be careful of what you ask for.
The break up of Lebanon, Iraq, and the Balkans makes those places a peachy place to be right now ain’t it?????
You name me one other nation or country (or even continent for that matter) you’d jump up and move to right fucking now if you had the chance (as that nation/country/continent exists today at this very minute and not your right wingnut utopia)
Only place I would consider is Australia but since “they took away all the guns” that leaves you out doesn’t it?
Except for the gun laws, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Norway, all seem like charming places. I hear a lot of people talk about Belize, but I don’t think so. Belize is South of here and it’s too damn hot here, with endless 100°-100+° days as it is. I do love my country, but I also question A LOT of the stupid shit its government does.
Doesn’t Switzerland require every citizen to have and train with guns? Regardless, unless your filthy rich they don’t want foreign born people.
Again the tricky little words like “EXCEPT” or “UNLESS”
Looks to me like you fuckers ain’t got nowhere to go and create your utopia………Damn, I was hoping you’d find some where to go and leave the rest of us in peace.
Looks like we’re stuck with each other………….
And that dear posters is my point exactly.
We have run out of room on this beautiful blue marble in space to pack up and leave to find a place that suits “folks who think and feel just the way “WE DO”!!!
There ain’t nowhere else to go motherfuckers……………….Well, at least for the forseeable future but maybe one day Star Trek will be a reality…………..
http://www.alaskacommons.com/2013/05/25/smf-37/libertarian-society-vs-socialist-society-mad-max-star-trek
Good example fer sure!!!!
Thanx!!
I think it’s something about “in order to form and maintain a well regulated militia”. Too bad we’ve written that off, figuratively and literally–from the outside of the NRA HQ.
So you’re saying you would be on board with arming the entire US populace?
Sorry, no. I’m saying that the Swiss, unlike us, have weapons in their homes because it is part of a national defense plan, unlike our culture which seem to have blown off that purpose and intent of the 2A, thanks largely to the gun lobby (read NRA).
I didn’t know that. So if every Swiss citizen has a gun in their home, is the crime rate higher than ours?
No, they don’t have a crazy, violent gun culture like ours. They hunt, target practice, and keep arms in case of a national emergency. Higher crime rate? I wish you were kidding but I think you’re not.
Oh, I just figure they have more gun crime/homicides. I just looked it up….we are at 4.7/100,000…they are at .52/100,000.
Yeah, they definitely aren’t posing with their AR and a big bag of weed and posting it on Worldstar Hip Hop or Stormfront.
They did not bring in the cotton pickers, year ago. Just the facts, ma’am.
Assault rifle. Not concealable. The ammo is sealed too I think and is inventoried. They are also more sane than us.
And not everybody.
He got me curious so I looked it up. There is no “sealed” ammo as you note, only some restrictions as to the kind you can buy.
I’m shocked that so many of them have assault rifles and their gun homicide rates are so low.
I always figured, more guns means more crime. They have the highest gun ownership rate in the world!
Huh, I have to go think about that whole thing now.
I told him so!
Their military-issue ammo is sealed and inventoried I believe.
They can have hunting weapons too, thus other ammo..
And they are less crazy than Americans. They have lots of cows but few “cowboys.”
In short, Switzerland has “a well-regulated militia.”
Now you’re going to get the gun nuts all excited about open carry!
The open-carry the rednecks here really want . . . is beer in vehicles.
…and then to hunt from their car window.
Heck yea. Every man woman and child should be armed. Then there will be no more murders, no more crime.
Yeah, look at cops; they’re all armed and they never get killed. Just like soldiers.
Imagine how many more would be maimed or killed if they DIDN’T have guns.
They only get killed because everyone else around them isn’t also armed.
When the last two Murikans gun each other down over a moldy bagel, the gun violence will finally be over.
I think all citizens get to keep a battle rifle in their homes but somehow gather they aren’t big on CCW. With the influx of Muslims into those countries, you can bet that acts of violence and intimidation against non-muzzies will be on the upswing as their numbers climb.
The key word is “EXCEPT” Bobo……… so there ain’t nowhere you’d pack up and go this very day – right????
Plus those countries you listed are pretty much liberal to include socialized medicine, and big on state supported education not to mention big on labor unions in Germany and Norway – not quite the bastions of conservatism I would say.
Now you did have South Africa but seems like something happened there a few years back………………..
I’ve been to Belize twice courtesy of Uncle Sugar and it is VERY nice but if everyone goes there, someone will wake up with a machete at their throat from resentful Belizeians since it ain’t a big country and too many people will definitely fuck up a good thing.
“Endless 100 degree days as it is”??? Why there’s no such thing as global warming so quit bitching about the heat – it’s all in your head…….
They seem to have made a lot of yheir programs work better than we have. I don’t knothif it is due to more time in the process, less blatant corruption and self-service by their politicians, other factors, or a combination. If you take me as anti-union, you are looking at the wrong guy. I come from a family of management, “company” men. I have worked at a couple of jobs, one private industry and one governmental, where I would have not only voted for unionization if given the opportunity, I would have actively supported it.
I think we see what has happened to South Africa since the evil honksters are no longer in power. Magnificent, isn’t it, the bastion of commerce, indusry, agriculture, and human rights that it has become!
As to “global warming”, I have bitched since the early 70’s about how it was getting hotter in the summer and warmer in the Winter. I believe we are now possibly in some type of transition with the two extremes. That said, I don’t buy into the scam about it being man-made.
Not fair to diss South Africa when we have hoodrats acting like they wore chains last week. Give it a least 100 hundred years to become a real shithole.
The people of Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, and Denmark are the happiest, healthiest, most educated people in the world. They love their country. They love their life. But guess what. Unbeknownst to them, they are miserable. They are forced to live in a hell hole with excellent public education, tuition free universities, universal health care, and government run retirement pensions.
Even worse the average citizen is almost as poor as the average American. But not quite.
Ha! But their CEO compensation sucks wind compared to our CEO compensation. CEOs in their countries make about 400% of the pay of the average worker. In this country its more like 4000% So put that in your pipe and smoke it Norway.
THAT may be part of the reason they make some of this stuff seem to work! Is there less raging greed in those places than here? Could there truly be such a place? It would be interesting to know.
If there are humans present, then yes, there is raging greed. One thing is universal, all groups of humans has the same good and bad. The only difference is what their culture values, which tends to accentuate the good or bad.
I keep hearing how great it is in the Scandinavian countries. The taxes must be unbearable with all the govt. freebees. Oh well I guess I’ll just tough it out here.
Forbes Magazine run by your flat tax buddy, came out with a list of the best countries for business in December. All of the countries I named came in ahead of the United States. So the taxes can’t be that bad. Plus businesses do not have to pay for health insurance. Denmark was number one in the world.
A relatively conservative friend who reads these pages from time to time has friends over there. According to him, they seem quite happy and content with their lives. They do have high taxes but they are able to thrive in spite of them. One thing we have discussed is that while those countries have military for protection of their people, their military budgets are not so obscenely bloated as are ours, in part because they have the USA and possible other countries watching their backs in case the shit REALLY gets deep. While we need good defense for ourselves and traditional allies such as the UK, we waste entirely too much on needless crap such as the jet that Lindesy supports but the military doesn’t want, domestic spying on everyday citizens, and involving ourselves in every on-going (for the past few hundred years) tribal dispute in the world.
It is called living on other people’s money. The US should have the balls to charge them for the protection. That is what a Sheriff does with a town with no Police Force.
In Sweden if you express a negative opinion of Islam or Sharia or basically anything non-PC, you are ostracized to the point of financial ruin.
Denmark is the country that published the cartoon about the profit Mohammed that enraged the Muslims so much, and then republished when they complained. Most of those countries are very tolerant of other peoples beliefs, as well as freedom of expression.
“The people of Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, and Denmark are the happiest, healthiest, most educated people in the world.”
Sounds like it’s time for you to move Tom, you’d be so much happier and wealthier.
Nah, I have a business here, but I can try to make where I live more like there. Did I mention that in addition to beating us in the best countries for business list, they also made the top of the list of countries most happy with their health care. Ahead of the U.S. Again.
That’s really not that special of a feat, dude.
So what’s your business?
Financial, tax, and retirement planning.
They are forced to live in a hell hole with excellent public education,
tuition free universities, universal health care, and government run
retirement pensions.
Those poor people. We should trade governments, they’ll be so much happier! :P
An old Marine friend of mine said to me one day, almost with a tear in his eye: I love this country, but I hate the government.” A very poinient statement on several levels.
yeah, living in a safe place really sucks. What do they do for excitement, anyway? How can they feel like real Australians, defenders of the core values of the nation against all those immigrants and indigenous people who can’t be trusted cause all they want to do is either take your jobs or freeload off the gubmint. What naive, stupid people, thinking that the country is safer with fewer guns.
Australia? UGH! When I was a kid, I recall hearing other kids bemoan that Hubert Humphrey had lost to Richard Nixon. Seems their parents had said that if Humphrey won, they were moving down under. I reca thinking that living in the wilderness and going to school via radio sounded like great fun. Even then, the Aussies were down on handguns except for police.
In retrospect, I’m glad as hell that I don’t live there. They have more snakes, spiders, bugs, and other shit that is deadly poison, yhan just about anywhere in the world. I understand the heat can be really bad there, too. That is one place I wouldn’t visit even if you paid me and furnished transportation.
Hey! Guess what? They have cities! The come in all sizes. And much of the climate is like Southern CA. World class wine country in the South and SE. They’ve gotten more down on handguns since then. Way more. So, sounds like you wouldn’t belong
Na, I wouldn’t. I have no desire to live in Southern Cal (or anywhere else in that state), especially LA. FL’s gun laws aren’t bad, but I have no desire to live there, either.
But you can tolerate Columbia? The only thing separating it from hell is a screen door.
I know! :-(
There are places only an hour or so North of here which have temperatures during the day and night which are 5-10 degrees cooler than in the Columbia area. Average elevations may be another 200′ higher so you aren’t in the damn”swamps”, as you are here. Hopefully the average humidity is a little lower, too. I used to envy kids in this one area in the Winter because they often got snow and we didn’t. If only my ship would come in…
I’ve served alongside Aussies in two wars and they are totally the most fun-loving hard fighting bunch in the entire world!!!!!
Since you don’t care for heat, bugs and other critters or environmental situations that make you uncomfortable I hereby label you as a milk-toasted wimp.
I have nothing against the people there, I just wouldn’t want to live anywhere that doesn’t have a change of seasons or at least a Winter of the type we might expect here or better. Perhaps you have a similar aversion to cold weather. If so, I guess that would make you a milquetoasted wimp, also.
They have winter there it’s just in June!!!!
Nope I don’t have an aversion to cold weather. That is what coats and thermal underwear are for and I love sledding and tubing in the snow.
Ever hear of camel spiders? They are common in Kuwait and Quatar. Things looked like the first phase of the “Alien” metamorphosis (I saw a number of them when I was over there and are big and FAST as hell) and were also “said” to be mean as hell and would get into your boots and ruin your day
I never lost a minute of sleep worrying about them. just shook out my boots before I put them on and carried on.
Are you really that big of a wuss?????……..
The Rouskies don’t have to do any of that stuff. We have done it for them. LOL When my party was running headlong toward the Patriot Act I said it was OK as long as we had an honorable administration. Look what it has turned into in a dishonorable administration.
All this would be taken care of if we just cut taxes for rich people.
So they would hve more money and could “create” jobs.
Yep without elitist right wingnuts (who are just as bad as the hard left eliteists) the poor huddled masses in the middle are just waiting for someone like you to show them the way…………..
if only they would listen to you but alas, they are too simple minded to know better and must be educated (make that indoctrinated) into being productive citizens. They MUST be shown what to read, what to listen and watch and what entertainment is proper for them in order to serve the conservative utopia which some desperately yearn for.
That last horrific knock you off of the wagon?
Nope, sober as the day is long…………..and the road is smooth for the little red wagon I’m riding………………
I’m just not wearing blinders like some of you is all…….
I gotta be honest here and point out your kinda drifting into Grand Tango territory, shrill and over the top with zero logic.
Where is “ewemax” when I need him/her???
He/she is much better at explaining shit like this to your type than I am.
….that’s not a good argument.
“conservative utopia”—- A M E R I C A. Where people are free to think for themselves. I know that thought just kills you liberals but it really is what made America the shining city on the hill. Individual liberty and individual responsibility.
I don’t reply to someone I have lost respect for (what little it was to begin with).
And for the FINAL FUCKING time I’m NOT a liberal because I do think for myself.
Then quit using deflective liberal labels like “elitist right wingnuts”.
As a certified independent I can say right wingnut with authority without any liberal slant. Just as I post that the hard left is just as full of bullshit as the right wingnuts
You really don’t get it do you?
And you never will because you are trapped in right wingnut dogma.
You don’t have a free thinking thought in your brain
Don’t get what exactly? That independent, middle of the road is the only way to go?
I know you think independents are the most practical of all, but that’s just as dogmatic a line of thinking as.the other two sides think of themselves.
Just because you don’t think you’re going too far in one direction or the other doesn’t make you immune from being wrong.
As a certified conservative, I can tell you that being labeled a “right wingnut” has no bearing on anything whatsoever. It’s just another name used by people to smear someone they don’t like or agree with. You have accused me of trying to “look for tyranny under every rock” after I said the government pleading the fifth is evidence of tyranny. I can see how you might take that literally and project some sort of right wing extremism onto that, but that’s only because you misunderstood the nature of my statement. We aren’t going to live as peasants and subjects in the land of Stalin or Mao at any point. If that’s where you thought I was going with a statement like that, then I can understand your concerns over extremist nuts. But when I say that or any conservative says something similar, we are speaking more metaphorically because we live in a time when something like tyranny is much more subtle and blended. Having the government no longer accountable and granted the right to plead the fifth at an accountability hearing is damming evidence of just that. No, not that America will turn into the Pol Pot regime or that Gulags will be set up. It’s simply that our freedoms are ever so subtly being stripped away. So subtly that we are barely noticing, thus the need for someone like me to call it what it is and not cower for fear of being called a “right wing extremist” or gaining moderation points for some supposed even-keeled, middle of the road response. Expressing that sort of concern doesn’t mean I think that if something isn’t done that Saddam Hussein will installed as ruler.
Either I’m right or I am wrong. That’s the issue, not whether you think I’m too dogmatic or take the position that a “wingnut” might take. I understand that there are some nuts. Trust me, I don’t want to be associated with Grand Tango or any other idiots that act like he does. But just because menaces like him exist on both extremes doesn’t mean that the moderate position is correct on any or all issues. It also doesn’t mean there aren’t independents who could be considered nuts. Sorry this is so long, I just take exception to being into some generic category of dogmatists just because I believe in conservative philosophy across the board. It doesn’t mean I’m not open or that I’m “full of bullshit”. It also doesn’t I “never will” get it, don’t have a “free thinking thought in” my brain or any other extreme charge you want to level against me. To me, I’m either right or wrong and particular issues are either right or wrong, regardless of ideological manipulation that gets injected.
But you are not practical.
Wrongo…
Independents are the most practical bunch of all…………
When you’r stereotyping liberals–or anything else– you’re not thinking. Period. Just puking.
I read somewhere that the tipping point is like 23 trillion in debt. What you are saying is dead on right. The establishment (R) and (D)’s have led this country down the garden path for far too long. That is why Trump is making the waves he is making. Finally someone who isn’t bought and paid for by the special interests, both left and right. Telling America what it needs to hear instead of what is PC. The old story of Nero fiddling while Rome burns is an old version of the “reality shows” that dumb down Americans . I might be an old fart, but I have been around long enough to remember when they taught civics in school. When we started each day with the Lord’s Prayer and the pledge of allegiance to the flag.
Nero never actually fiddled…that’s a myth.
Secondly, if you’re so concerned…you should lobby to stop all the handouts takers and moochers and all their entitlements…referring of course to bank bailouts, multi-nationals getting non-disclosed taxpayer subsidies, corporate welfare and the like. Not to mention all those old retirees sucking off the medicare and social sec. teat.
And Israel, right?
Medicare and SSDI are social insurance programs, not giveaways. And, try to derail Medicare and see how the current retirees respond. Jeb Bush just commented that “it’s time to start phasing out Medicare”. Let’s see if he hears about that comment again
Medicare and Social Security were paid for by working people. They are the true entitlements. All the other give aways are just that. While I don’t believe the govt. should have been involved with either of these entitlements it is what it is. We take what is ours. The 401K type retirement is much more efficient as it is controlled by the owner not the govt. Medicare would be much better as a health care savings plan rather than a govt. program. Just like everything else, the individual can do a better job than the govt.
A health savings account. Are you crazy. This Ryan- Bush plan is just crap. Before Medicare 50% of people over the age of 65 had no health insurance. In rural areas of the country with little manufacturing, the percentage was even higher.
So exactly what happens to you when your health savings account has $5,000 in it, you make $24,000 a year and the insurance company wants $2000 a month for your health insurance. What doesn’t the Republican Party not get about this. Insurance companies have no desire to insure old sick people. They cannot make a profit. The old sick people do not have enough money to pay them.
Medicare and Social Security have been great programs. They are not give away programs. They are insurance and pension programs. They have brought health care to senior citizens and lifted them out of almost certain poverty. If the Republicans would stop trying to kill those programs to fund tax cuts for the mega wealthy, I could maybe support them again. But until then, I say screw Jeb and anyone else who goes down that path..
Because the people who advocate for vouchers, HSAs, school choice, less environmental regulation are just shills for corporate america. They couch and frame it in “free market” rhetoric, freedom, “stealing of our liberties” etc, but that is just one side of the party line. The other is all the talk about the “takers and the makers”. The only people who benefit from all that crap are for-profit corporations, their lobbyists, and the shills they pay off cheaply. Solid post, Bill. Keep talking
“Joblessness leads to hopelessness, hopelessness leads to fear, fear leads to blame and blame leads to scapegoats.”
Is that the path to the Dark Side, oh Yoda?
Well, the Brown Shirts and Hitler Youth were kept busy and had no idle time on their hands (but they were big on blame and racism….)
What about those black youths in blue shirts, red shirts, black shirts, white shirts, gold shirts?
They don’t have adult supervision (let alone the organization skills) like the Nazi’s did…..
No. It’s the path to SC
There are ignorant people in South Carolina. The governments (state, federal) are not helping. There are not enough jobs. Ignorant people without a job go online. But … here’s where it gets kinda murky … only political junkies who are truly savy and on a mission to save the world from whatever, or paid hacks, should be surfing the web that much, or care that much about what they find. Oh, yeah, and Boeing, incentives, bla, bla bla. So “free markets”, “school choice” and NO incentives will keep people from going bugfuck and slaughtering other people.
Really, Will? I mean… really?
Yep, kinda what you are saying……
Actually, I do believe the evolving nature of “capitalism” (which is kinda fucked up UNLESS you consider the alternatives or something like that…) on a global scale does have some people on edge but that is just how things shake out.
As far as I’m concerned, the book “Future Shock” rings truer every day and I see evidence of it damn near daily.
The picture above the title says it all, the number 88.

And to think everyone thought he was a huge Dale Jr. fan. Doing the Dew made him do it.
Bullshit, he’s just a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan.
“Love and kisses”????
“But all of those things are ultimately flowing from the same place, a pervasive erosion of economic opportunity that’s impacting all of us … and only getting worse.”
BULL CRAP…HE HAD TONS OF OPPOTUNITIES
Dylann Storm Roof had opportunities galore.
Who else has the opportunity to drop out of school when you are 15 or 16 years old?
Who else has the opportunity to sit on his ASS from !6 to 21 years of age without going to school or having to work?
Who else gets to spend all his time playing computer games and surfing the net?
Who else without a job gets to drive around the state in a late model car visiting monuments, grave yards and museums, taking selfies along the way?
Who else gets to drink with buddies and crash in their trailer without any means of supporting himself?
Somebody (singular or plural) had to provide Dylann with all these opportunities and it was these opportunities that led him to the tragic choices he made.
Without a doubt SOMEBODY was paying for internet access and gas for his car
If for no other reason; Roof is justification for bringing back the draft or other national or state service.
Little fucker could have been kept busy dodging traffic and filling pot holes on I-85…….
He probably has an Obamaphone… “We President now!!!”.
I heard/read the other day that “Obamaphone” shit actually started during the Bush II years………..
It actually started under Reagan, but don’t tell the high priests that.
you got that one right. They don’t want the narrative disrupted
Republican program expanded by a Republican and blamed on a Democrat? Sounds about right!!!!!!
I think you just described 99% of the black people in Columbia’s housing projects.
But most don’t kill anyone, far less nine. Maybe black people–even poor ones–are just more moral than white trash.
White people kill blacks without taking their money… maybe that’s the moral high ground they should look for.
What are the ROOT causes of the Liberals’ obsession with hideous crimes they are exploiting, while totally ignoring crimes like Planned Parenthood selling baby parts and one of you buddy Muslim Jihadists murdering 5 Marines, after you said you’d defeated Terrorism?
No wonder Trump is beating the Fuck out of the media. You’re so damn Stupid, you don’t even know what a Fucking laughingstock you are.
ILLEGALS RAMPAGE IN TEXAS: 611,234 Crimes, 2,993 Murders Since Obama Elected…
Cite reliable source please. Bet you can’t. Bet for sure you can’t. And Drudge, Dicks Wilderness Studies.com and Bubba’s Gay Love Roster are not reliable sources, you stupid ignorant result of failed South Carolina education piece of mid-Land hog dung.
I believe the root cause is those Africans who captured other Africans and sold them to they people on the slave ships. If that wouldn’t have happened it’s likely that the 9 people in Charleston would have been shot.
You have a interesting theory, but in that vein we should be able to hold the gun manufactures responsible. After all , you are saying the fault is with the people who made the product available not the buyer of the product. That would have the added benefit of someone to sue I think we should hold them responsible for all gun deaths.
He was a lonely boy, raised on the internet, TV and video games. Small in stature, pummeled by an abusive father and a LA-LA mom, he saw no future, no hope. Despair was the root of his evil, not racism. Racism was only his lated fad.
Sadness was in his soul and he could find no other way out of his despair. Infamy was more likely than a job, a family and a life.
Big government has allowed increasing numbers of people to become disenchanted, in fact disconnected, with the world around them.
What Dylan Roof needed was a loving family, working people as examples, and a spiritual base that could teach him the enduring lessons of life. At present, our government fights all of those good things.
Or a REALLY ass kicking Drill Sergeant……………..
I think that was Wil’s point, despair rules in this State because of our poor education system, resulting in crappy jobs, that don’t pay the bills and a perpetual life of poverty. That and a feeling of entitlement by poor whites.
Yes, and Will consistently shoots missiles at the “government run” schools for failing these students, conveniently overlooking the fact that the poorer districts have been systemically set up to fail by our legislature. Kind of like candidates for office who proclaim “I hate government” (and then there’s the “shrink to be able to drown it in a bathtub”). And we then think or expect these same representatives will view and use government as a tool for positive change? Then we get all indignant when systems and people depending on government support fall between the cracks, they then say, “I told you big government was the problem”. Or, “those people just don’t want success badly enough”
So it was despair, and the root of his despair was big gubmint. It’s big government’s fault he shot them. Damn, I wish I’d known sooner. Thanks. And here I thought there might be multiple contributing factors involved. Whew. That was a close one. I almost had to use critical thinking skills. Glad I dodged that bullet.
Evil existed before the Flag. It has existed since the beginning of time. Mankind has always had selfish desires and without that flag it will be something else. We can not live together and try to force ourselves into situations that create controversy. If everyone that can would work and only those who really cannot would live by the law with our help we could exist together. We have become a selfish, lazy nation that only wants to stir controversy. We depend too much on government and do not use the energy to find the truth for our self. America is a nation in decline and I do not think we can recover without another real Revolution. It may sound silly but it is true!
I thought selfish desires was the gold standard of the right wing. The life blood of the free market and all.
Thus sayeth Ayd Rand
Mexicans, high taxes, public schools and museums and parks, potholes in the roads, gay marriage
I know. this article started off like they were going to say something they don’t say 10 times a day.

When people start beating a dead horse, I turn my back and walk away.
Some people will say he fell into it because he didn’t have a job or much of a chance for a good one.
Others will say that he was taught his racist hatred, passively and overtly/intentionally, basically White Knoll High School’s student body and the Council of Conservative Citizens, respectively. Why has no one interviewed and reported details from Roof’s friends (or at least close acquaintances) who initially told authorities or media that Roof changed notably and apparently for the worse when he started attending the Lexington County school? Why no in-depth on CCC?
Maybe if you had one example of another student or former student from the Lexington County School District…
Already have reported testimony on one. Why not follow it?
Why not study Dreher High? There is more likely hood there were racial issues there.
——————————————-
Roof was a fourth-grader at White Knoll Elementary in Lexington County’s District One from 2003 to 2004. He then transferred for the fifth, sixth and seventh grades to schools in Richland County’s District One.
He subsequently switched back to Lexington County, attending Carolina Spring Middle School as an eighth-grader from 2007 to 2008 and White Knoll High School as a ninth-grade student starting in August 2008. Roof repeated the ninth grade the following year, but left White Knoll on Feb. 17, 2010, and once again rejoined the Richland County district, entering Dreher High School on March 1.
Roof exited Dreher as a ninth-grader May 29, 2010, and did not return after that, a spokeswoman for the Richland district said.
The two high schools’ racial profiles differed markedly the year Roof was attended both. In 2010, Dreher High School had 1,176 students, 53.8 percent of whom were African American and 40.7 percent of whom were white, according toSchooldigger. The same year, 17 percent of White Knoll High School’s 1,927 students, were black, while 77 percent were white.
Socioeconomically, they were more similar. At Dreher, 34 percent of students rates of students qualified for free or reduced lunches, with 36 percent at White Knoll eligible for the same.
Roof’s Facebook page did not appear to list any high school besides White Knoll. It was not clear why he transferred so many times between school districts or whether he had a disciplinary record.
Roof’s friends or acquaintances SAID he changed notably after he started attending the Lexington County school.
But you seem to want to point somewhere–anywhere–else. Why is that?
“He headed down in the basement, officer.”
“Let’s check the attic.”
That is the point. His freinds did not say that and his move to Lexington coincides with his step mother, who raised him, separated from his family.
Your bias is against more white, perhaps more Republican Lexington.
He headed down the basement officer after the Trayvon Martin death, twenty-one months after he attended Dreher High School and twenty-four months after he attended White Knoll. Let’s search at White Knoll officer.
“His freinds did not say that”
It was openly reported and published.
“He headed down in the basement, officer.”
“Let’s check the attic.”
——
Officer: “what are you doing out here in the street at 3 am
Racist Denier: “I lost my wallet”
Officer: “How did you lose it?”
Racist Denier: “I was in that alley over there and it fell out of my pocket.”
Officer: “Why are you out here in the street looking for it?”
Racist Denier: “The light is better out here.”
“Others will say that he was taught his racist hatred, passively and
overtly/intentionally, basically White Knoll High School’s student body”
Maybe they should be home schooled.
That family mass murder in Oklahoma was reportedly by homeschoolers.
Oh no!
People aren’t safe anywhere!
Reports were that Roof said something like “You black people are taking over and we have to stop you.” If true, or even close, a main question is who taught him THAT? The actual reason for the killing? Not just who bought his gasoline? But always in America we chase some other question.
“Keeping the working poor and middle
class (of all races, religious, genders and sexual orientations)
hopelessly and eternally divided serves their purposes.
Bottom line: They want the race war every bit as much as Roof does.”
The gov’t wants the division, but not a full scale war IMO. The Federal gov’t itself is FAR larger in its institutional racism & division than any other private institution in existence. It’s not even close.
Also every form people fill out in gov’t asks you your “race”(and sex, & sometimes sexual orientation). Those “forms” touch almost every aspect of our lives because few people can avoid gov’t completely in their daily lives.
It’s that division that keeps them in power to some extent.
“And yes, Roof had some issues with drugs.
And probably mental illness too. But those factors – along with his
ridiculous flag-toting pictures and sophomoric references to white
supremacist regimes in Africa – are at the fringes of what really precipitated this violence.”
While I agree with your notion that a poor economy leads to increased violence, it is yet again just another “factor” IMO, to be lumped with all the others. It’s rarely a “single factor” that leads to events like this…if you pull one out of the list it could halt the event…but it’s usually a compilation of factors.
If Roof is mentally ill-and I think he may be- it’s hard to expect that he could hold down a job even if the economy was hitting on all cylinders.
I’m glad to see you take a step back and self-examine. That’s a great mark of emotional maturity and intelligence. That being said, there is a certain sad irony in the gov’t using the specific phrase you quote above, “the Charleston shooting was so horrific and racially motivated”……
Not sure how much he paid you, but hope it was a LOT. Really?
“that’s the same view advanced by S.C. Rep. Michael A. Pitts”
Is this a joke? “we’re almost to the point of regretting our advocacy.”
Seriously?
Who is they? “They want the race war every bit as much as Roof does.”
I horribly disagree.
Seriously, the banner ads are more entertaining than the one sideded article. Mike Pitts doesn’t deserve your ink.
“Convenient scapegoating” is exactly what’s going on.
People…what is all this tap dancing bullshit Fits is peddling?
The root causes of this tragedy are the following:
1. Easy access to guns in state that loves guns.
2. Ignorance in a state that breeds ignorance
3. Racial hatred (Roof’s own words) which is systemic in S.C. and across the old confederacy especially.
Plain and simple. Own it.
And your opinions on Mike Pitts? did he help?
Roof is a result of you liberal bastards advocating for the monsters at Planned Parenthood and their GUSTAPO, murderous tactics to eliminate life.
Limbaughsaphathunt is an abortion opportunity that was missed. He could have been prevented. LOL
I would personally attend a SYNTwist-Limbaughsaphathunt wedding if Bible Thumper officiates.
Rocky can be the bridesmaid.
See, you’ve proved my point. GOP only cares about people in the womb…once you’re out of the womb they don’t give a shit…(unless you’re white, rich, racist and old).
See, those God-fearing conservatives love abortion when it is used to exterminate people for not agreeing with them.
Oh yeah, I remember him saying something about Planned Parenthood while he was gunning down those poor people. Oh, wait a minute, I think he was actually saying extremely racist things instead, sorry.
He was taught to hate . . . by conservatives.
“Plain and simple.”
So is your analysis, go back to the drawing board.
#2 and #3 are basically the same thing.
The KID, had no reason to kill save selfish ones, based on all that I read – had to do with a lost girlfriend. I’m sad he lost his GF, but does not give a right to kill. I strongly believe he is mentally ill – who else does that?
Yes, both sides have been ugly, and they will continue to be as long as we perpetuate some race war initiated by some dumb ass kid. That is the truth.
Mike Pitts? He is a complete and total loser throwing money to make a come back. He deserves to be removed from office.
‘Nuff with excuses on BOTH sides. Time to make it right. We are unstoppable – what a wonderful world: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3yCcXgbKrE
Oh my! Any comments about your hero’s at Planned Parenthood? Roof is a result of you abortion loving mommies.
Sanctity of life has been shredded.
Hey flip – you don’t know me, stop pretending that you do. I don’t need to explain to you that I have NEVER had an abortion, but for sake of tearing down your weak argument – what the hell?
You might find this interesting. It doesn’t set well with my heart, but facts often don’t – they are simply facts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zk6gOeggViw
You didn’t listen to video? It is obvious. I see you replying.
I don’t give a shit about your home schooling lesson plans.
I don’t give a rats petunia about your opinion – I call that unequivocally forgiveness for ignorance.
Not a movie you want to see , but facts seldom are. Interesting to say the least.
True – not a movie you want to see, but facts seldom are – facts remain.

Timeline: Ramadan begins June 17, 2015 | Ramadan ends: July 17, 2015
Two major attacks on faith (Charleston, SC) and freedom (Chatanooga, TN).
The South is the last vestige of resistance to these assaults on humanity and the American way of life.
yep
Oh really – Ramaden explains it all for a white American kid? Please! find a better debate.
You have to think more deeply. Try it. One of the first things the MSM was reporting before he was even apprehended in NC was that he was clean-shaven. He had obviously done a lot of intel for a high school graduate punk white kid to be able to drive all the way there, sit next to the pastor and *senator* for an hour — daring his God to intervene or change his mind. Nope. Senator Clementa Pinckney’s God is silent.
I’m not sure what you are asking me to think more deeply about. I was in Desert Storm, our compound in the middle of no where, yet I could hear them pray during Ramaden. This kid is not a Muslim, as much as one wants to paint him that way. He is mentally ill IMHO.
Defending ISIS?
I DO NOT defend ISIS.
You did by defending Muhammad and saying how much you liked the Muslim prayer=like Obama said it was the greatest sound he had ever heard.
I believe that was sparkle’s comment, not SYNTwist’s.
I have no clue WTH you are talking about.
I was at Kobar Towers in Gulf I and those prayer towers let loose 5 times per day
Wasn’t an unpleasant sound as far as I was concerned. I’d take Gregorian Chants over it but all in all it didn’t bother me.
Missed you.
But to the point. Every white racist times his attacks on the the beginning of Ramadan. You need catch up. You’ve been gone awhile.
No, BT, I haven’t been gone. My last alias, I posted my other aliases. I have been gone a little while – family stuff among other technical issues.
I understand Ramadan better than most, simply because I have experienced it. Difficult to fathom a white supremacist might recognize or in any way honor that. It’s a great talking point for the right, but a weak one.
Not ALL Muslims are nuts, Jihadists, terrorist, et al. Some just believe that Muhammad was the last prophet. I don’t agree with that, and I personally detest religious wars – live and let live.
Say wutz?
Can’t you tell? Muslims like Dylann go to Lutheran churches.
It’s the people at FITSNEWS who need the real jobs.
I can’t fault FITS for profiting, but this topic is … lower than low.
You’re here too genius.
and the Genius we are talking to goes by ” Uh Huh?” Seriously get a real alias.
Nice capitalization Grand Tangoess.
Wy thank you!
Holy shit. You are being paid to post your bullshit on FitsNews?
You have fucking destroyed this forum with your 8 ‘aliasses’ and why I have taken time off from here.
I took a break, but if you can’t stand me — maybe you need a break.
A break from what, parenting?
I love that you are so interested in my life, that you know so much about it, it tells me who you are — you see I don’t share my life with everyone, so when I do, I know who I do.
For your information, my husband is retiring, we take turns, but thank you for your concern — a$$hole
Welcome back.
Thanks :)
lol
I remember he saying she was a single Mom at one point. Which is it?
I am not a single mom, but thank you for asking.
yep…it is Boz
boozin and loozin…a drunk WiNo
You don’t like Will cause he was an early predictor of President Trump and you hate America.
Flip is lazy, one sided, dogmatic, a freaking know it all, et al….
The Roof reprisal killings were a drop in the bucket compared to the black on White violence that occurs every second of every day.

Blacks violently attack Whites over 3,000 times per day in the USA. They murder 4 Whites peer day. They rape over 100 per day (less than 10 per YEAR the reverse). Then in addition to the Black terrorism against Whites there is the massive Mestizo terrorism. Then there is the perverse disarming White guilt mental, spiritual & emotional terrorism directed at Whites from the mainstream media & academia. The anti-White propaganda is designed to disarm Whites with White guilt while inciting non-Whites to violence against us. FIGHT BACK!!! http://mightisright.net/

Haley started all this and is a disgrace.
What Haley did was bring the State together. It will take some time, but her action IMHO were necessary to move past the racist south. She did the right thing.
I might disagree with the punishment (Death Penalty) – but I do agree in the long run, it was the best thing to do. I stand by that.
“That is a racist pagan nationalist website”. Thanks. Don’t forget “Hate site” – “”Hate your enemies, & if a man smite you on one cheek, smash him down; smite him hip & thigh, for self preservation is the highest “law”. Terrible Tommy left the christ insanity infected softy KKK decades ago. He has no use for the perverse Jewish created bible. He likes “The White Mans Bible”. Chapter 29 “Eliminate The Black Plague” is especially relevant. http://mightisright.net/books.html
That you SYNTwist?
Just because he posted a racist website doesn’t mean he’s racist! He’s just not as productive as he could be! I blame Boeing.
Operative date being 1980. Thats is almost 4 decades ago. I guarantee you he is a Republican today along with all of his racist buddies. They all followed Regan into the Republican party. Not all Republicans are racists but almost all racists are Republicans.
Look around, whatever got this kid to his ultimate goal is something that could manifest itself in many of us, to a much lesser degree. Non-existent family responsibility, an education that was neglected, no personal drive, no ambition, and all this fueled by drugs that eased some of the pain but put him into cycles of emotional ups and downs. His family let him slip away and he had to turn to something to make himself feel important and find someone to blame. The lifestyle is doomed but feeling of importance and belonging to something bigger than yourself is additive.
This happens in projects with gang activity, usually to a much lesser degree. Turn to the gang, it is a structure that will support you, allow you to take out your frustrations on other people. And it allows you to live the lifestyle in which you feel important and protected. But along with that emotional security comes peer pressure and an ever-increasing need to be bigger and badder. It is a dead-end lifestyle.
It is a gross over-simplification of a very complex situation.
I agree. I also agree those people look at a rebel flag as a symbol to hinge upon. I am glad it is gone. Things will quiet if we let them.
I was all for taking the flag down. But come on, get serious, the flag had nothing to do with it. If you think the flag was in any way, responsible for roof’s actions, you need help and different talking points.
I don’t think it was responsible for his actions, but I do think it fed his demented mind.
She blamed the TV lady first. A couple of bottles of wine has led her to the sewer and off the Roof.
You and I both know who you are. Don’t ever text me, don’t ever ask for a picture and don’t ever try to engage me in conversation. Your lies and exaggerations are disgusting. You know it. I know it. Just stop. I am very happy to go away. Honestly, I’ll likely be gone by the end of the month. I come here for political and intellectual honesty — comment section is horribly lacking.
Thanks pOgO! I know who you are. You know who I am. Why the games?
Worried bout the rebel flag but not taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood which is harvesting body organs from aborted children and selling them to the highest bidder.
Shows your lack of character and soul.
Your case has made sensational media. For contrarians sake, there are many children who do not have organ donors, most are too old. Some have families who love them and will pay anything.
Is it right? If there is a child that is being aborted, I personally feel that their organs should do some good. If I died tomorrow, I would hope my organs might help someone. You can say the unborn has no choice – I agree they don’t. They wouldn’t have a choice after birth either. As much as it pains me and as much as I would love to adopt an infant, too difficult. Those children live horrible lives for the most part. I truly would not want to live the live many of them are offered when unwanted.
I choose pro-life for myself, because I love myself, I love my children. I also respect the fact that not everyone has that luxury.
BINGO! SYNTwist the abortion queen!. Planned Parenthood or Gosnell could NOT have said it any better.
I doubt they could have – thank you for your acknowledgement and appreciation.
I’m not so sure about the truth about children’s lives. Women who have abortion tend to have resources that allow them to afford an abortion. Poor single women can’t afford a abortion.
“They wouldn’t have a choice after birth either.”
A one year old infants don’t have any choice either. Their organs might be more suitable. What about parents who need more mature organs? “They have families who love them and will pay anything.”
What is the difference of harvesting an organ before birth or after?
If they will pay anything, then let the market decide.
I am “guessing” the date on article was when abortion became legal. Women could get one without killing themselves, which many did early on.
Honestly, I would have to read the book again, what I walked away with in my pro-life stance was — after abortion was legal, crime dropped, dependency dropped.
Sadly, I will answer your last question to the best of my ability and reserve the right to change mind as new evidence is available:
“What is the difference of harvesting an organ before birth or after? If they will pay anything, then let the market decide.
The difference is choice. I choose to be an organ donor. Before birth, I am guessing the parents do. I hate to even type this, cuz if my children died, it would be devastating, but I “think” I’d like to know some part of them lived on. That choice would be theirs. They are no longer fetal ;)
Before birth the child is killed and the organs are harvested.
What is the difference in waiting until the organ is at the optimum stage of development after birth, then killing the baby to harvest the organs.
We could call it a postpartum abortion. It sounds more morally acceptable. Better organs. The recipient would have a better chance.
BT how many children are you willing to adopt? Are you too old to adopt? How many children are you willing to foster? Do you have a foster plan? Where are these unwanted children going to go?
I think of it like this. People get abortion, because they need to for whatever reason. I don’t understand it. I don’t agree with it in my personal life — hell I thought I just might die with my baby giving birth at 42. I had an unplanned pregnancy at 21. Both are alive and the love of my life – my whole life evolves around them. Having said that…
People are different. I can’t make choices for everyone, neither can you unless you want to pay for them, I mean literally bring them up.
I hate abortion, but if there is no love, no hope, no future, I think as a baby I would prefer not to be born. It can be argued that I would survive anyways (I’m like Bermuda Grass, you just can’t kill me ;))) But if I were born with horrible birth defects, and/or a family that didn’t want me. I really don’t think I would have chosen life.
My life is family, yes, hobbies too, but it I started off with no family, I’m not sure I’d want a life. Seen too many children in CPS care with no hope, just anger. Rage even.
I think I am the best person to make decisions for me, and I believe the mother of an unborn child is he best to make decisions for her.
My personal beliefs are pro-life and anti-death — that simply doesn’t work for the world. Wish it did, but it does not.
I don’t understand why a mother’s power to decide life and death of a child should end at birth. Many are born with “horrible birth defects”. Why can’t the mother end their misery after birth? You don’t have any theory to establish human rights. Do you believe in them? If so when do they begin?
I assure you BT you do not understand, because you have never carried a baby ;).
I know I play both sides of the aisle, but I am more interested in scientific facts v. some feel good bill that completely abolishes abortion.
In all fairness, if I don’t have to pay one dime that could be used for abortion or death — I could live with that. It would not change my life, my actions, but it would take it off my conscious. We all have choices to make – I may not agree with yours, you may not agree with mine — money changes everything.
Think in these terms, for just a moment. Mother doesn’t want healhy baby. Another mother desperately wants unhealthy baby. If it abortion is the only answer – I would thank the mother who sacrificed whatever organ. Yes, it is morbid — but would you prefer 2 babies dies or 1 that has a chance and appreciation of a full life?
Tough decisions, but are they ours (yours and mine) for the making or do they rest with the mother? I think I lean they way of choice.
I don’t understand why a mother’s power to decide life and death of a child should end at birth.
——-
why should the government’s?
I do believe in human right, but I also recognize the system is broken. Ending abortion is not going to fix it. Here are examples of abuse that were just published by Post & Courier:
Warehousing Our Children
South Carolina Laws hide child abuse inside group homes
http://www.postandcourier.com/article/20150723/PC16/150709453
Sad article. We both believe there is a correlation between abortion and child neglect and abuse. You believe the more abortion means less abused children. I believe they’re different aspects of the same problem. If society only places a $30 – $100 value on the unborn for their harvested parts, don’t expect much value to be placed on their brothers and sisters who survived to be born.
It is sad and I do believe there is a correlation. Consider this, right now SC has roughly 4,000 children who need Foster Homes and abortion is legal. If abortion became illegal, how much would that number grow? Talk about a slow painful death outside the womb – I can imagine nothing worse.
I agree, they are different aspects of the same problem, it’s a multi-faceted problem, one that we will never be able to legislate into non-existence.
I personally feel the guidelines to become a Foster Parent are to strict. I am a mother, why would I need to go to a class to learn how to take care of children? I checked into Foster care at one time, because I wanted another child, but high risk pregnancy. In order for me to get a home plan I’d have to find a baby sitter to take care of my child to attend one of the classes, next they have to inspect my home and follow up visits. It’s too complicated. Why not run a background check, have online classes, and do one home inspection, maybe even one follow up visit – more parents might be interested in fostering children. It is also noteworthy that while I could still have a child, I am too old to adopt unless I go through the foster care system. I think the cut off is 40 years old?
Then there is the issue of funding. No one wants to raise taxes or pay for someone else’s children.
You are exactly right here, except I seem to recall the $ figure much higher: “If society only places a $30 – $100 value on the unborn for their harvested parts, don’t expect much value to be placed on their brothers and sisters who survived to be born.”
————————————–
Given that is the case, imagine the lives of those who did survive. Where are they? Are we breeding criminals by abuse, neglect, over medication, poor nourishment and on….
There is no easy answer, no solution in sight. Things could be better, but it will never be perfect.
Everyone doesn’t have the luxury of loving themselves or their children? Lady, you need counseling.
I have the ability to empathize, something you are lacking. I am interested in your side of the story, I am interested in dialogue, I am interested in understanding people. If that isn’t your game, please stop harassing me. What are you afraid of? That I am one of the few people on here not paid to be?
I am just as human as you are and I deserve the respect I am asking for. You thrive on hatefulness. I get it — you hate yourself. I am sorry for you. I am here for you. Just tag me — Dear @SYNTwist:disqus.
I choose pro-life for myself

me too!
LOL – good! It is my experience we live longer that way ;)
Did I mention only women have babies?
I assumed you were talking about yourself and living longer ;)
I’ve decided never to have an abortion… though I leave that same choice up to the conscience of other men and women to decide for their own bodies.
did we ever get to the bottom of love vs selfishness?
Hey Max! Not really — I do understand loving oneself, but there is a fine line between love and selfishness–not to be confused with hate. Quite honestly, I am very interested in you opinion for personal reason. I am often coined altruistic in the political arena. I think we all give to get. Read many books, but still interested in your definition of selfishness if/when you have time.
The basic difference, in most cases, for the confusion between love and selfishness, is the idea that selfishness is simply doing something for yourself.
That’s not true.
Selfishness is doing something that produces pleasure, but in the big picture, in sum, it is damaging to life.
Here’s an example… a dog is barking next door, and you can’t sleep – so you get your gun, and shoot it… then you drift off in sweet bliss.
Here’s another.. the doctor says if you eat more than one gram of sugar in a sitting, you’ll die – in a fit of frustration, you sit down and eat a whole cherry pie.
Now… you are on a diet… and you want some pie, but you know you shouldn’t… so you say “It’s selfish, but I’m going to eat a whole pie!” … and then you think.. it would only be a little selfish if I had a piece of pie… so you only eat one piece.
Now was it love or selfishness? You have to love yourself – that’s a given… in our discussion of life – if you hate life, you hate yourself… that means you have to love yourself.. who are you hurting by eating a piece of pie? It may be that, since you’re going to stay fat longer, you won’t live as long… but how long, and is it “worth it?” only you know which is better for your life.. you make your best estimate.. quality of my life versus length of my life… you could be wrong you could be right… but if you know you’re wrong, it’s selfishness… if you don’t it’s probably love.
Almost all selfishness (I might be going out on a limb, so I said “almost”) is based on getting something now in exchange for a greater cost of life than you want to bear in the future… and, in retrospect, you knew then, and now, it was the wrong thing to do, and there’s no justification for it. That includes the life, and quality of life of others.
It’s not up to me to decide what is love, and what is selfishness in your choices – it’s up to you to correctly evaluate that, and also what deception you’re willing to bear in your own conscience, in the attempt to enjoy your life at the expense of others.
Hey Euwe, if you live in my neighborhood and shoot that damn barking dog, I wouldn’t call it a selfish act at all. You just gave me, and probably quite a few of our neighbors, the gift of sleep. You will know you are in the same neighborhood as me when, during those first few precious seconds of silence following the bang of your gun, you hear my voice loudly exclaim, “THANK GOD!!!!!”
To be honest, some of our neighbors voices may join as a chorus, saying the same thing at the same time.
The sum benefit to life often means destroying some of it, imho.. I love dogs, even barking ones – but my patience has an end too. Luckily, the laws against shooting in the city limits, and animal cruelty laws make it too risky to get rid of pests with a shotgun…
…so I kill house-eating squirrels with an Air Rifle. Bless their hearts.
..and I’m not a monster – it’s not a bb gun, it’s a .22 pellet rifle with a 16x scope and a 40 lb pull side lever with a muzzle velocity of 1000 fps. I relieved our neighborhood of around 25 squirrels a few years ago.
“Almost all selfishness (I might be going out on a limb, so I said “almost”) is based on getting something now in exchange for a greater cost of life than you want to bear in the future.”
—————————————————————————–
I call this immediate self gratification. I agree is it selfish. I also believe we are human and prone to flaws and we have to forgive ourselves, just as we forgive others.
My selfish gratification comes with a damn cigarette, that I know is going to kill me if I don’t stop smoking. I also know that my children would like for me to be around a while and so there is some guilt the minute I light up. The only vice that has ever grabbed hold of me and the most difficult to quit. I have periods of success and I remind myself constantly that if I were to quit smoking, not only would I live longer, the money that could be better spent on other things.
My husband and I are making a renewed effort to quit smoking when he retires. Wish me luck – cuz I’m going to need it.
I thought about this, and it seems to me that there is a faculty in the mental makeup of mankind that allows us to blur the focus on the obvious danger to our lives when there is something of immediate value in front of us. It probably comes from survival in which danger has to be shut out in order to focus on an immediate short term goal – probably food or sex. Long term good.
In the case of addiction, shutting out danger to satisfy something so close in function to fundamental survival desires produces a cycle in which a desire for something dangerous utilizes that faculty to hide our consciousness from the danger by shutting it out. After the addiction is temporarily satisfied, the source of the danger is no longer a focus, and the desire builds up again.
Consciousness has to be maintained at a high enough level for the reality of the far away danger to become present enough to engage the desire to avoid the harm that will result from the action. Simply going “cold turkey” may end the cycle for a short time, but the habitual addiction will likely reassert itself in the memory of the pleasure achieved by surrendering to satisfying the hunger.
Long periods of high levels of consciousness are as, or more, exhausting as forced labor. It can cause extreme anxiety, psychoses, paranoia, hallucinations… all sorts of stuff. But once you manage to maintain it long enough to not engage in harmful behavior, you still have to do it again. After returning to the relatively sleepy state we sometimes call “normal life,” the prospect of returning to that higher level of consciousness where you can see clearly that assertion of discipline is absolutely required, is not very pleasant…
That, coupled with a self-image that has previously accepted defeat when attempting to apply discipline in other areas, makes the relief of giving in to the addictive desire even more attractive in contrast.
Consciousness is a bitch, and then you die. :)
I will have to think on this a while to respond at any length. I enjoy the depth of conversation and ability to discuss it openly. Always thought provoking.
Short answer off the cuff, yes, dopamine is a strong source of energy. I think this is likely more true for women than men? Women have that nurturing way about them. My daughter says dad is playful and I am the loving one. We show love in different ways.
I can also relate to the anxiety and hallucinations. I have tried most everything to quit smoking and I’ve quit for periods at a time, but always seem to go back to it — likely anxiety, but nicotine makes that worse, just seems to make it better. Nicotine is a stimulant. I did completely quit once for 3 1/2 years, when I got pregnant with first child. Second child, I got down to 3 or 4 cigarettes a day for a couple years.
I tried group hypnosis – the worst $70 pep rally I ever went to! I tried the patch, my heart races and I itch constantly. I tried Wellbutrin for a very short period of time – – when I closed my eyes for sleep at night I either had some very lucid dreams or hallucinations? I quit taking it after a few days. I’ve tried cutting down one cigarette per week – do great until I reach the 3-4 cigarettes per day. I smoke outside or in garage for at least 8 years — which means I freeze my ass off during winter, but hey, I get that nicotine fix.
Consciousness is a bitch …. and then we die :)
Max, I wanted to say this before I deleted Disqus, but wasn’t sure it would show up on your end. I am soon to either delete permanently or let it breathe, not sure which.
However, if we fall out of out touch I want to say how much I appreciate you. You are brilliant and nuts at the same time! We are probably not politically aligned, but philosophically? I think so. Thank you for spending your time explaining and for your kindness.
I’m sure to be on a week or so, but if/when I go, I want you to know how much I appreciate you. So….Thanks!
awww… now look what you’ve done..
Now all my friends are going to make fun of me, and my enemies will make up nursery rhymes about how soft I am… I hope I don’t have to remind them about my semantic house of horrors, and the torture devices I still have at my disposal.
I just hate showing up at the tavern… and getting the royal treatment – presents like a pink headband… squirt gun… subscription to men’s health.. a box of tampons…
I may have to deny that this account is really me.
I guess fits thinks that everyone in a manufactured home does this? or is likely to do the same. i don’t think so there will folks.
Right we would be so much better off if instead of $20k mobile homes, our poor bought $60k hipster tiny homes or were forced to rent more substantial housing. I think the state’s issues are a bit deeper than “we need to keep busy.”
The problem is that ideas like D.S. Roof’s views are censored so heavily, there is no reasoned debate available to allow young people to see the folly of such flawed thinking. Without church or parental guidance, it is easy for the downtroden to become monsters.
Guess what: It wasn’t racism. Nor was it guns. Nor was it drug abuse. Or mental illness. And it sure as hell wasn’t a flag.
But he did go through with it, hoping to incite a “race war” that would advance his recently acquired white supremacist world views.
Do you ever talk to yourself, Will?
You should look into a sped redding curse, and re-read what you wrote… I’ve copied the two lines of cognitive dissonance together, in bold, above, so you can see how very bad you need some sleep – or some adderall..
LOL
Sooooo…it’s poor / unemployed / underemployed people who are murdering us, primarily because they’re poor / unemployed / underemployed. This is almost as dumb as the Department of State’s spokesmoron Marie Harf’s “Jobs-for-Terrorists” nonsense she took the beating over back in February. The social science, statistical analysis, and history of such shootings all point to the fallacy of Will’s theory in regard to spree shooters and terrorists of all stripes, but FITS never lets fats or common sense get in the way of a grabbing some eyeballs and unique page views.
Wasn’t the major breakthrough in Iraq, the idea to pay the Sunni tribal chiefs in the Anbar province to be our allies?
1,335 Americans were killed in the campaign, many in the Sunni Triangle around the cities of Fallujah and Ramadi. Al Qaeda in Iraq became the province’s main Sunni insurgent group and turned the provincial capital of Ramadi into its stronghold. The Marine Corps issued an intelligence report in late 2006 declaring that the province would be lost without a significant additional commitment of troops.
Since its launch in Anbar in late 2006, the Awakening spread to mostly Sunni-majority enclaves in Baghdad and other provinces as a means of Sunni self-defense.
Recall that David Petraeus was quick to accept praise for the drop in civilian death rates that began in late 2007 and continued throughout 2008. Many attributed this calming to Petraeus’ surge and others ascribed it to the “Anbar Awakening” that Petraeus exploited:
He started putting some Sunni groups – including some that had previously fought the U.S. – on the American payroll. The “Anbar Awakening” of Sunni groups willing to cooperate with the Americans had begun in 2005, but at a smaller scale. Petraeus recognized that the groups had real community influence and ability to bring security, whether he liked them or not, and brought them on board. At the program’s peak in 2008, the U.S. had “contracted” 103,000 fighters who were now ostensibly paid to assist an American-dominated peace rather than the disrupt it. That same year, according to Ricks, the U.S. signed ceasefire deals with 779 separate Iraqi militias.
The U.S. military gave $300 monthly salaries to fighters, many of them former insurgents, to patrol areas and stop attacking American troops.
U.S. military officials handed Awakening tribal leaders reconstruction contracts for their areas, building up their influence. They have assisted tribal operations against al-Qaeda in Iraq with airstrikes and other military and logistical support. A tribal chief famously described how U.S. officers promised to pave the road that led to his house.
Since conservative’s darlings spent billions upon billions on the war, and their one minor success in the war was to spend a few trifling millions to pay off the Sunni tribesman….
…why don’t they see the “pragmatic” side of the American situation to stop the bleeding here?
Not a bad attempt, but your logic doesn’t play- apples and oranges. An insurgency (and the counter-insurgency tactics deployed against it by a foreign power) bear little or no resemblance to the psychological and sociological soup that contributes to spree shootings. As you note, economics is a key ingredient in the mix during insurgencies (although not the single most important one), but what kills your analogy is the proven fact that economics have little relevance to spree shootings. Very few spree shooters and self-radicalized terrorists have come from true poverty, and many are educated members of the middle and upper classes. The only real nexus between the two types of shooters (insurgents versus spree shooters / terrorists) is the stated sense of helplessness in the face of whatever institution or society they’re striking against. Even that nexus is weak, since most spree shooters have exhibited signs of mental illness, while most terrs have not.
You can’t deny that paying off the tribal chieftains and employing their subjects didn’t remove organized Sunni fighters from the battlefield. Income has a way of calming frustration, and providing a sense of well-being… even when your fucking country is being invaded by filthy infidels.
In revolution, what is the root cause, and overriding factor?
Poverty, and the oppression that it implies.
True believers have a price.
Money is made in war, and is often the core reason for it. It’s rare to see the rich bastards that feed on it, realize that it costs less to employ the enemy than to kill him. The enemy, so employed, needs no such insight.
The idiot sons of the failed aristocracy here in America are so poorly educated, they have little or no insight into how to steal efficiently.
FOCUS. As you often do here, you’re obviously enjoying an excellent argument with yourself. You’re arguing that money can impact insurgencies (with which I readily agreed, to a point), but that does NOT translate to money impacting spree shooters and self-radicalized terrorists (which is what we were talking about). Prattle on all you like, but money / economics doesn’t make the list when it comes to folks who shoot up theaters and workplaces. Period.
Now you can go back to babbling about revolution, aristocracy, and whatever else you free-associate into your stream of consciousness…
spree shooters
——-
This article covered the unemployed and their contributions to crime as well.
I’ll try again…FOCUS. Your argument was a 112,943 word treatise on the Iraq insurgency. I calmly explained that the shooters engaged in insurgencies are motivated by a *wholly* different set of factors. The FITS article (also mostly incorrect, by the way) is about the Roof jackass and other dumbasses like him. That’s all. I’m out…
I calmly explained that the shooters engaged in insurgencies
——
I was talking about those who were removed from the battlefield by being paid off.
Holy shit, dude…can we let it go? Not… what… the… piece… was… about. Seriously; I’m done.
Not… what… the… piece… was… about.
———
The piece was about:
The jobless, troubled drifter
The real killer is something far more sinister (and far more widespread than we know): It’s desperation. Fear. And yes, ignorance.
Which our culture is breeding.
And all of those things are ultimately flowing from the same place, a pervasive erosion of economic opportunity that’s impacting all of us … and which is only getting worse.
You’re obviously a last word guy, so hit me one more time but I’m done. You’re stretching the economic issue in a way that is flatly and provably wrong, but you’ll never agree with me. Let Iraq go- it bears no relevance to our crime problem or spree shooters. Period. I will waste no more of my 10 minute daily FITS allotment on this. You have at it. Namaste.
That’s all. I’m out…
———-
Seriously; I’m done.
———-
You’re obviously a last word guy,
The soul does not exist ab initio as orthodox Christianity teaches, but must come into existence through a process of guided self-observation. However, this is rarely achieved due to man’s unique ability to be distracted by spiritual matters by every day trivia.
The phrase “cold-blooded murder” exists for a reason. Regarding the statement that all murders are hate crimes, that simply is not true. Unless you expand the meaning of “hate” to take in the feeling of “I hate that I don’t have the money or valuables I’m trying to steal from you, when you resist my effort to do so.” Also, hit-men do not kill out of hate. It’s just another contract to them.
Will is ignoring too much of what Roof actually stated, as well as what he signaled by the imagery on his web site. Forcing the entire narrative into the confines of his set political views doesn’t make for a compelling argument.
Roof’s hatred of black people — regardless of how long he had harbored it — was the reason for the crime. Whether or not one likes the designation “hate crime” is irrelevant. It exists, it is the law, and we are a nation of laws. Let him get what is coming to him, and stop nit-picking the case, in order to re-frame the narrative.
Roof is a ‘life long very liberal Democrat’ like YOU and that was the reason for the hateful crime on humanity.
Liberals are souless creatures. They hate God and the sanctity of life matters not to the party of slavery and Jim Crow laws (Democrat Party).
Yes, Roof broke the laws of this vile empire & he must & is facing the consequences. There is a higher law – Natural law. By Natural law standards, his actions that landed him in a cage were NOT a crime – NOT immoral.
This entire rambling soliloquy is crazy talk.
The message that Dylann Roof wanted to send (& did) is that “White Lives Matter”! Many Whites are fed up with the anti-White power structure (media/Gov./academia/Big finance).
Blacks kill 4 Whites EVERY day in the U.S. Blacks rape over 100 Whites EVERY day (less than 10 per YEAR the reverse – in the movies/TV black on White rape is ALWAYS portrayed as a “racist” lie). Blacks violently attack over 3,000 Whites EVERY day. NONE of the Black on White violence cases gets any major media attention. This has been going on for 55 years. Close to 80,000 dead & 30 MILLION injured.
There is also much Mestizo on White violence. The jewstream media will focus on the unusual White on non-White crime while ignoring the massive non-White on White violence so as to incite more violence against Whites while disarming them with more perverse White guilt.
A Black can kill 9 White co-workers because he claims they are racist, rape & murder old ladies, kill a White baby in a stroller, torture a White kid to death with a blowtorch while Mestizos torture, rape & murder a White girl for a gang initiation & there is no major media coverage. Racial realities do NOT fit with the anti-White narrative (Whites always bad – non-Whites always good) that the Gov., media & academia promotes so they ignore reality.
However a White will merely use a supposedly naughty word that non-Whites don’t want us to use (call a spade a spade) & there is massive media coverage. Nobody should be surprised that eventually there will be more & more Whites that will engage in this dirty non-White on White race war that has been raging for decades. Is it realistic to expect that Whites will never strike back?
Let me guess. Klan or Aryan Nation.
I don’t need to guess since your comment demonstrates that you are a lemming (dolt/member of the stupid masses/programmed robot that parrots his programming). The few dozen tiny modern Klans remaining are softy beer guzzling Christ insanity infected groups. AN is/was crazy CI. You forgot to parrot the name of the wimp “David Duke”. The handle “Might Is Right” is a clear indication that I am anti-Christ insanity.
National States Rights Party
Christian Identity
National Alliance
These are so many fringe/front groups for the farther-out GOPer.
Good story! But I was hoping for some suggestions of how to change and all I read was a call for politicians to behave better. Maybe I misunderstood. Anyway, I quit reading FITS a while ago because I never saw any positive suggestions for improvement. Statehouse Report lured me into reading this piece and I agree with Will. Just wish he had some positive suggestions to make.
Racist!
Roof murdered innocent black people because he was a hate-filled racist.
Roof was taught his hate-filled racism and his paranoia about the white-man’s decline by conservatives. The Council of CONSERVATIVE Citizens is not randomly named.
Conservatives are a vector of hate and fear and here a direct cause of murder. Almost fits the definition of “vermin” doesn’t it. The Discriminator poster, I might add, fully fits the definition.
Your second paragraph is bullshit. You didn’t “lead the charge” nor were you “the first” to do anything.
