“Kid from Denmark” and “graduate of the South Carolina public school system”… good Lord. SMH. Yes, those are facts but he’s also led a life of privilege that few South Carolinians, black or white, could dream about. It pays to have a famous, well to do father.

I liked Bakari. He came across very well in his run for Lt. Governor. Too bad he didn’t win imo.

Like the guy, I really do. But I’m just not sure he’s going to bring anything new to the table on CNN talking about “racial, political and legal issues”. I hope I’m wrong, but I just don’t want more of the same nonsense we get already from the likes of Marc Lamont Hill and his ilk.
