The absolute truth is that there isn’t any available to mortal man.
In the course of 3 days, in the polls he spiked from the bottom to being out ahead of Bush. Now people are predicting he will gain another 10% by the end of the week. Meanwhile, Hillary is no longer being favored either by democrats. This race is going to be more interesting than any I have seen.

Voting for MLK day as a National Holiday was not enslaving anyone. Having a Naval Ship named after a black War Hero was not enslaving. Intervening on behalf of his constituents regardless of race was not enslaving. Supporting traditionally black universities was not enslaving. They were all acts of treating all men equal.

He expects people to believe that he assembled 150 of his racist friends, founded a chapter, chartered it with the KKK, had it recognized by the KKK, was unanimously elected to a top office in that chapter, expressed his commitment to never serve with black soldiers, and believed in their racist rhetoric enough to say that he was committed to make the KKK spread nationwide. At any rate, Thurmond’s voting record on minority and civil rights issues improved dramatically after he changed parties. Byrd never changed parties and was hailed as a leader of the democratic party for decades while harboring racist views.
