TEA PARTY FAVORITE HAS BIG BUCKS BEHIND HIM …
|| By FITSNEWS || In a little more than three months, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz‘s presidential campaign has raised more than $14.2 million from over 175,000 contributors. Combined with the $37 million raised by a political action committee backing Cruz, the Texas lawmaker’s presidential aspirations will be supported by a $51 million war chest.
“The grassroots energy and support we are seeing is overwhelming,” Cruz said in a statement. “In Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina – and all across the country – we are seeing courageous conservatives coming together for real change. We’re reassembling the (Ronald) Reagan coalition – from conservatives to libertarians to people of Faith – and with the help of so many supporters, we will be able to deliver our optimistic message all across the country.”
This website wrote back in January of Cruz’s path to victory in early-voting South Carolina – and these fundraising numbers will go a long way in making sure he gets his message out here and in other early-voting states.
In fact Cruz’s impressive haul guarantees he’ll be one of the top tier GOP candidates through Super Tuesday (March 1, 2016), when twelve states hold “Republican” primary or caucus elections.
Our thoughts on Cruz at this stage of the race? As we noted in our post assessing his chances there’s a lot to like about the guy … although there are certainly things to dislike, too. So far, he remains one of the few GOP candidates we’d consider getting behind … in spite of his occasional missteps.

I cannot vote for anyone who doesn’t believe in evolution.
He’s about to learn about survival of the fittest.
There is no way I am voting for Cruz. I’m not impressed with any of the GOP candidates, but save Santorum, Cruz is the least appealing. I looked long and hard at the candidates today — none are that impressive. However, if Cruz is the Republican nominee, I will break party line and vote for Clinton.
You are pro abortion and gay marriage and you like Santorum? You use small ‘g’ for God and mock Biblical Christians on Fits.Please.
You are a LIBERAL Democrat.
No, Santorum is the least appealing, Ted Cruz is the 2nd least appealing. On GOP side.
My guess it will come down to another Bush and Clinton in GE.
Buck up, Will. Checks dry up?
No need for us to pay him.
That is a great question RNC boss – you’ve gotten your last check from me. Hope you spent it well.
I’m a socialist who loves tax hikes. LMAO!!!

is that the Bowel Movement?
Saw him on one of the talk shows this AM, host asked him what he would do with the 11 million illegals already here (amnesty? send them back?). Even though the host asked him 2 or 3 times he would not answer. Does not appear to be much of a leader.
Being a so-called “conservative” pretending to run for president is one of better paying jobs for conartists these days.
Being a failed republican operative turned pay-for-play blogger isn’t.
He’s a fucking immigrant.
So Trump is toast. Now FitsNews is kissing up the next sugar daddy.
Bought and paid for.
Trump may not win, but he will kick this immigrant’s ass.
Top tier? not likely. Maybe top tier of your toilet paper rack in your powder room, maybe.
