|| By FITSNEWS || The Huffington Post is doing a series called “’16 And President” in which it spends a day on the campaign trail with each of the candidates.
It spent its day with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham in Iowa recently, capturing an emotional exchange in which Graham tears up discussing his friend (and U.S. vice president) Joe Biden – who lost his son Beau Biden to brain cancer earlier this year.
“Biden and Graham have been struck by multiple personal tragedies in their lives: Biden lost his wife and daughter in a car accident shortly after he was first elected to the Senate, while Graham’s parents both died when he was in college,” reporter Scott Conroy noted.
Sad …
This website has been relentless in its criticism of both Graham and Biden (speaking of which, we take exception to Graham’s “we don’t agree on much” statement) … but it’s hard to mock a guy for showing genuine emotion over a true friend’s loss.
We’re sure a few of our commenters will … but we won’t.
Take a look …

Will, your are correct in that Joe Biden (bless his heart) should be appreciated for the many things he does that are overlooked by his critics. Here is just a short list from veteran White House reporter Keith Koffler’s. “White House Dossier”
——————
1. Biden remarks to Obama every morning how handsome he looks today.
2. He tells Obama everything he does is a “gutsy move.”
3. Biden promised to have a red light implanted on his forehead that turns on
every time he is about to say something stupid.
4. Obama hopes Biden will help with voters who don’t speak English.
5. Biden promised to eat fish three times a week to improve brain
function.

I’m shocked to see such an emotional display by Lindsey over the VP’s loss of his son.
Normally that kind of display is reserved for women during their time of the month.
You do not understand “crocodile tears.” I have done extensive research on psychopaths and sociopaths, and Graham fits the mold.
I think far too often we forget that politicians are also human.
