The special interests are getting mega rich from Obamacare. Hospitals, big pharma, insurance companies, etc…the same folks that were the villains pre-obamaCare are now the ones making the most money!

It is all one big shell game. They came up wit the idea to Insure 12 million people for the cost of 24 million people and presto…ObamaCare was created and is the most significant scam in modern history.

Ok liberals, you have the floor. Please begin mindless talking points NOW.

The fact that most Americans agreed with SCOTUS keeping Obamacare live and well is pretty interesting. Even more interesting is that people like the Affordable Care Act more than Obamacare, even though they are one in the same. Also, if you break down major planks of the reform, most Americans support the biggest pieces of it.

Republicans have done a great counter-marketing campaign against health care reform. Then again with propagandists like Roger Ailes and others that comes as no surprise.

Most people don’t agree! (especially working people!)

Break down the planks of any piece of most any plan and people agree with them. But the cumulative is what is important, and I have never seen a poll showing that most americans support the plan.

You are right, there has been no such poll. Although some people are quoting a poll that says more people than not approved of the Supreme court ruling on ObamaCare. It is not the same thing and some people may have had some confusion or the poll may have included the gay marriage issue. I don’t know, just speculating on that poll. But ObamaCare is still upside and I predict it will go more negative as people begin to realize what a bad plan it is. Sure, there will be some portion of the population that won’t be impacted negatively, and they will think it is a great deal. The impact that ObamaCare will have on the average worker’s family budget has not been realized at this point.

America needs Obamacare to overcome our nation’s history of white oppression. It is up to government to make sure that white people give there fair share to help all the oppressed, sick, and poverty stricken minorities and immigrants. Even if socialized economic systems always fail and require bailouts, it is immaterial to the progress that must be made to remedy historical wrongs and provide non whites with healthcare so we can continue our progress towards humanist utopia.

Of course I don’t talk like that around my little girl. I can’t even say “good grief” without her asking if that is appropriate.

Can you explain the process of getting a welfare check? I might want to check into that. Food stamps too – please.

I didn’t want a colon exam last year, but I got one. And glad I did. Never felt cleaner. And it was 100% covered – except for the heavy duty fiber and the gallon of gatoraide – that was out of pocket.

ObamaCare could become a major factor in the the 2016 election. Most Americans have not felt the full impact of skyrocketing premiums, much higher deductibles, increased wait times, sub-standard treatment, etc. The numbers will continue to grow in the negative direction once people are subjected to the ills of ObamaCare. Most of the 12 to 16 million people that have signed up already are getting massive subsidies, and they will probably tell you everything is just fine because someone else is paying for it.
This program, as currently structure will never be support by the majority of US citizens.

If you check the Real Clear Politics composite of five different major polls, you will see that the CBS?NYT poll is an outlier because it always it is always slanted toward approval of ObamaCare
Here are the latest polls

RCP AVer for 43.6 Against 51.4
CBS/NYT for 47 Against 44
CNN for 43 Against 55
ABC for 40 Against 55

Quinnipac for 43 Against 51
Rasmussen for 45 Against 52
Numbers transcribed from from the RCP site Today. 7/8/2015

And also, you may be confused because there was a recent poll about the recent Supreme Court decision, and surprisingly it came out favoring the Supreme court decision.
The RCP composite of polls has had “Do you Approve or Disaprove of ObamaCare” consistently underwater for the last two years.
You may want to temper your excitement about ObamaCare being accept by a majority of Americans, because it is not. And it will be a negative factor for the Democrats in the 2016 election. As of now, Not all people know of the higher costs, larger deductions, and poor service that they will encounter over the next sixteen months.

There are a few points of Obamacare that I do agree with, but the program overall, in my personal opinion, is a disaster. There is no doubt healthcare, more specifically the insurance industry, was/is out of control. Has Obamacare addressed those issues? No.

The issues are far more complex. Both, insurance companies and pharma companies have been gouging. Why? By law they can. People are creative in finding ways to work whatever system is in place, Obamacare is just the next system to be worked.

I remember as child my family had the best of insurance and benefits, yet I can also remember, I was very sick for two weeks before I was taken to a doctor. I had appendicitis. I did get the treatment I needed just in time, but not a minute too soon.

Today, the issues are far different. First, I do not believe there is adequate data to support all the so-called emergency room visits and the reason for them. It was around the 70’s (possibly before?) that opiates became very popular. While there is little in the way of substantial data to support my hypothesis, I am of the strong opinion that the majority of those ER visits are not due to medical/illegal immigrant issues, but drug addiction.

Said it before, saying it again — we need better mental health care. Rehabilitation not incarceration. Pay now or pay later.

ObamaCare isn’t going to fix that problem. It is only going to make it more expensive and difficult to find that kind of care.

A word of advice to those on Medicare. If you go to the emergency room and they want to keep you there for observation, Medicare pays very little and you will be on the hook for the remainder.

And yet somehow he was reelected despite a campaign that centered on the issue and the American people have yet to elect a veto-proof majority to get rid of it. Representative democracies make decisions by VOTING, not looking at Real Clear Politics averages.
