|| By FITSNEWS || In a recent story on the epicenter of the Confederate flag debate in South Carolina, we referenced J. Scott Goldsmith – owner of the Upstate, S.C. retail outlet Dixie Babylon.
In the context of our report, we referenced that Goldsmith was married to WYFF TV 4 (NBC – Greenville, S.C.) evening anchor Carol Goldsmith. That information was accurate … three years ago. According to public records, the Goldsmiths divorced in 2012 after separating in 2011.
We apologize for the error.

So all the “racists” at WYFF are now absolved?
After they sue ‘Sybil’.
“We apologize for the error.”
Perhaps you should title this “correction” instead of “clarification”. Your correction smacks of a “but” in the apology.
Anything to avoid ‘retraction’.
Just goes to show that people that are not from the Upstate don’t know shit about the upstate.
Looks like Carol Goldsmith just chewed FITS a new asshole…………..
That store has been open since long before 2012, so the local NBC News co-anchor WAS married to a white supremacist.
Best-time working I looked at the draft which said $9958@mk7

My guess is ‘Sybil’ will be sued.
My guess is no one would be interested in suing Sybil.
Can this be included in (and added to) discovery? …in the other suit?
One of the few posts in which I held my tongue. Good job Thumper.
