James Metts Reports To Federal Prison

Former sheriff to face the music …

|| By FITSNEWS || Former Lexington County, S.C. sheriff James Metts reported to a medium security federal prison in North Carolina this week to begin serving his one-year prison sentence on corruption charges.

Metts was sentence to a year and a day in prison back in April after federal judge Terry Wooten rejected a probationary deal cut by the office of U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles.

“The guidelines do not call for a probationary sentence,” Wooten said at the time. “Conspiracy to harbor illegal aliens is a serious charge.”

It is … and so Metts (a.k.a. inmate #27316-171) will spend some time at the federal correctional institution in Butner, N.C.  If the sixty-eight year old is a model prisoner, he could be transferred to a halfway house midway through his sentence.

Metts begged Wooten not to put him behind bars, saying “I don’t think I will come out of there alive.”

Butner houses 1,023 offenders – including the infamous Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff.

Metts was indicted last June by federal authorities for accepting bribes in exchange for using “his position, power, and influence as Sheriff to interfere with the proper identification and processing of certain illegal aliens detained at the Lexington County (detention center).”

He originally pleaded not guilty to the charges – and vigorously protested his innocence.  Four other individuals were indicted at the state level for their roles in the “Lexington Ring,” a cabal of crooked cops and corrupt politicians that was relentlessly exposed in 2012-13 by this website.

One of them, former South Congaree, S.C. police chief Jason Amodio, pleaded guilty earlier this year.  Amodio was busted receiving payment “in return for seized gaming machines,” however he ultimately received four years of probation for lying to a grand jury.

Meanwhile five of Metts’ subordinates were fired from their posts in the aftermath of the indictment.

Jimmy better watch out who he messes with, especially Madoff (77 years old) who pounded at least one guy into the ground who tried it. Before reporting to prison Madoff hired a trainer to teach him boxing and wrestling moves together with self-defense tactics. Madoff won…

Poor guards have to deal with the stench of that filth day in and day out.

Things that Prison Guards Hate
——————————————
— Coming up with one too many during a head count.

— Having to break up a fight in the shower.

— Being asked to be the bridesmaid when two inmates tie the knot.

— Recognizing the newest inmate as your proctologist.

— The fact that inmates get more cable channels than you do at home.

— Having a new neighbor move in next door who looks way too familiar.

— Being on a first-name basis with a serial sex offender.

— Finding a hole in your glove after completing a body cavity search.

— Learning that your mother just announced her
engagement to #93A44274.

“Jimmy da Cherry” for the first day or two, at least. After that, probably “Old Crusty Sphincter”.

Well, I can’t resist—
————————
(1) – After his first few prison showers, he realized
why they call a prison term a ‘stretch’.

(2) – On his first night in prison he made a big mistake. Apparently ‘I’ll toss you for the top bunk’ means something different on the inside.

(3) – As I waited to be taken down to start my prison term, I was allowed a final minute with my wife.

I said “Listen Susan, prison is a horrible place that changes people for the worse, and when I come out I doubt I’ll be the same man you know and love. For that reason, I don’t expect you to wait for me, so get on with your life and try and meet someone else who can hopefully be a father to our children.
Most of all though, just stay strong and be happy.”

“Stay strong?” my wife snapped, “You’re only doing a week for an unpaid parking tickets, you stupid prick!”

I am no fan of James Metts. I think he should be out in the quarry, making big rocks into small stones.
There is a section of his indictment that I find particularly interesting:

“..accepting bribes in exchange for using “his position, power, and influence..”
Metts should have contacted Hillary and found out how she was able to avoid a Federal indictment for doing the same thing.

I used to train up at Camp Butner just down the street from the prison – that place is the embodiment of the “country club prison”. Jimmy will have a good time!

“A year and a day”..? He’ll coast through it like he was on vacation. He’ll have amenities and privileges. I like those b&w movies from the 30’s – 50’s where they smashed rocks or grunted in potato fields, and they used chain gangs.

The first chain gang I ever saw up-close was the one that was clearing the ditches on our street when my Dad was a recruiter in Chattanooga. I was probably in the second grade. Dad took me by the hand to the end of the driveway. The guys were wearing striped outfits and had shackles. In the street was the biggest horse I ever saw with a guard resting a shotgun pointed upwards on his knee. My Dad told me that if I ever told a lie that’s what would happen to me — and I believed it!

I’ve known some weird cops, and cops that killed other cops, fucked boys, got addicted to cocaine, stole cars, and got away w/it.I don’t think Metts should go to prison. He wasn’t in league with the professional bad asses, and they’re still in ‘office’.Who’s that NARC in Richland County? Most of them are on the take,so don’t let the odds stacked against you happen, although you can’t stop that.Read The Trial by Kafka.Things haven’t changed much…NSFW:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRxUbv90lLI

So you’ve known cops who have killed cops and gotten away with it? I’m calling bullshit on that.

You’ve fucked so many asses that shit has traveled up your peepee into your brain.

Why does every one dance around ex sherriff Jimmy James Metts very probable involvement with the video poker machines all in and around Lexington at various convenience stores. It’s not a well kept secret. And how the lid didn’t get blown off this by this web site… Is beyond me.
Amodio in South congaree was storing the machines that many times would go to convenience stores under Metts protection. I’m not even in the loop and I know what was happening.
Where was attorney nettles in trying to expose all these illegal activities.
Nettles. I won’t forget this for later when you run for whatever political office you seek.
Why are there two sets of laws for poor people and minorities, but a less egregious set of standards for law makers and law enforcement officials and the rich.
Guilty is guity. Metts should be serving time until the end of his life. He’s a shit stain
Why anyone would defend this adipose tissue, is beyond the realm of understanding
Metts needs to move far far away from South Carolina if he does make it out of jail alive.
His family has been ruined by this … And the two daughters did not deserve this.
But
Metts will survive and the people of Lexington will forget him. Sooner rather than later.
My bet He hangs himself. And fails at suicide.

I can only guess

Naaah, he will be just fine and come home to Lexington where there are plenty of other shitstains. He’s not a quitter. There are plenty of other crooks in state government who rape the system every day who do and have done far worse than Metts. They know who they are and surround themselves with syncophants and obsequious pieces of shit who blow some up their asses for their crumbs every day. What a life. Go ahead Jimmy!

What’s this about a SLED investigation at Lexington County Clerk of Court BETH CARRIGG’s office into missing money as reported by Lexington Chronicle?

That is only one part of Beth carrigg’s problem. She also hired corrupt Danny frazier’s wife, Cynthia, to a position in the clerk’s office after she was terminated from catch public safety once they found out that she was connected to illegal video poker with Danny frazier.

It is time for Beth to go!!!
