WILL IT MAKE WAVES IN 2016?

|| By FITSNEWS || “Go big or go home,” they say … and when it comes to going big on social media, no 2016 presidential candidate even approached the seismic splash made by billionaire real estate mogul/ reality TV megastar Donald Trump.

And while “Republican” polling data suggests Trump’s presidential candidacy is an exercise in futility (hence our first question out of the box to him early this year), his fame, financing capability and “say anything” factor have generated interest … and eyeballs other candidates couldn’t dream of drawing.

“Immediately following his historic announcement, Mr. Trump was the most searched Republican Presidential candidate in every state in the country,” a release from Trump’s campaign boasted, adding that “3.4 million Facebook users in the US generated 6.4 million interactions regarding the launch of his campaign, the highest by far, among all 2016 GOP candidates.”

Indeed …

According to Google Trends, Trump’s “search interest” was at 87 percent one hour after his announcement.

“Comparatively, another GOP candidate also launching his campaign this week, registered just 13 percent interest the previous day,” Trump’s campaign added.

(Ahem, Jeb Bush).

Now, does any of this make Trump viable?  No … but the first challenge in our ADD culture is to get people to pay attention.  And they are most certainly paying attention to Trump.

Having him in the primary will actually make it worth watching. He’s the Jeff Ross of the GOP primary. He’ll insult everyone and I’ll be one cheering him on, yet still glad he’s unelectable.

He’ll be dropping bombastics on everyone with sticks up their butts, which is most everyone running in the GOP primary and a good percentage of their audience.

Anyone that can upset that many people at one time has my approval, even if they don’t get my vote.

Quotes from various authorities on the question, “Why did the chicken cross the road?”

Donald Trump: “Chicken? Chicken? That reminds me, I have to start working on my comb-over.”

Which brings up the question: Why does a chicken coop have two doors?—–Because if it had four doors it would be a chicken sedan.

Trump is viewed by a large part of the electorate as the outsider that is against the establishment and politicians in general. What part of the electorate that is remains to be seen. I wouldn’t totally write him off. A lot of his ideas are sound business ideas. This could get interesting. No around the bowl and down the hole at this point.

Trump is actually upside down on the approve/disapprove poll. And that is just among the Republicans.

Middle of the road democrats may like it as well. Either as a breath of fresh air or a challenge. … Now it gets interesting.

(So far in my opinion, democrats are not too happy with the choices they have.)

If Donald Trump was as successful at politics as he is at drawing attention to himself, he would be King of the World. The man is so full of himself that it comes spurting out of his ears, and yes, you are right, it is brown in color.
The man has absolutely no chance of being the Republican nominee, but he pegs the entertainment meter every time he opens his mouth. The man is a pig for attention and the spotlight and he is chomping at the bits.

Is he self funding? That’s disappointing because I’ve been walking several precincts, collecting pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters for his campaign.

What our ancestors were laughing about—-
————————————————

(1) “All these folks for me?” “No, those are candidates, friend.”

(2) “My father was just itching for a political office.”
“Did he get over it?”
“Yep. They scratched him at the polls.”

(3) “My father was a great politician in his day.”
“Oh,yeah, what did he run for?”
“The state line!”

(4) A politician was complaining to his neighbor about the news organizations lack of coverage of his speeches. “It’s a complete conspiracy of silence against me, I tell you, a complete conspiracy of silence. What should I do about it?”
His neighbor replied, “Join it!”

(5) “What would be the best way to raise revenue and still benefit the people?”
“Tax every political speech made in this country.”

Milo Moroni decided to run for political office, and was told he needed to hire a press agent. So he hired one at $500 per week. The first week, no press at all. Milo called his agent and said, “What’s
happening?”

He said, “They’re talking about ya, baby, they’re talking about ya.”

Two more weeks go by, a $1,000 more, and no press. Milo is pretty mad. He called his agent and said, “Hey, what’s happening here?”

He said, “They’re talking about ya, baby, they’re talking about ya.”

Five weeks go by, $2,500 down the drain and not a thing to show for it. Milo was so mortified and angry that he went down to his office, barged right in, and said, “What’s happening? What’ve I got to show for my $2,500?”

He said, “They’re talking about ya, baby, they’re talking about ya.”

Milo said, “Oh, yeah? So what’re they saying?”

He said, “They’re saying, “Whatever happened to Milo Moroni?”

Trump will be in South Carolina tomorrow the 19th. He has so much money, he can easily saturate the entire nation with campaign ads. I expect to see billboards going up everywhere … too many tv channels to make that worthwhile. But billboards, and airplane banners over beaches during peak days … .. .
