“REPUBLICAN” ESTABLISHMENT RONTRUNNER PREPARES TO MAKE HIS CASE …
|| By FITSNEWS || Former Florida governor Jeb Bush will make his first trip to early-voting South Carolina as an announced presidential candidate next week (details here).
What will the “Republican” establishment’s candidate of choice talk about?
Glad you asked. According to talking points (.pdf here) prepared in advance of his presidential rollout , the newly minted candidate will stress his experience as governor of the Sunshine State – and his efforts to expand the “Republican” party.
“Jeb will campaign as he governed,” according to the talking points. “He will go everywhere and speak to everyone staying true to what he believes. He will take nothing and no one for granted and work to earn every vote.”
After announcing his candidacy at Miami Dade College on Monday, Bush will travel to New Hampshire, Iowa, South Carolina and Nevada.
Bush’s New Hampshire visit will focus on the economy – specifically his plan to boost economic growth in the hopes of creating 19 million new jobs. In Iowa he’ll discuss his ideas on how to “disrupt the broken Washington culture that has been good for lobbyists in D.C. but left the rest of America behind.”
Meanwhile in South Carolina Bush will “meet with veterans and discuss how we can make sure America is a leader in the world again.”
This website has generally taken a dim view of Bush’s candidacy – although we’ve praised him where we felt he deserved it.
Bush will join a crowded field for the GOP nomination – including retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, former New York governor George Pataki, U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, former Texas governor Rick Perry, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania.
Billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump, Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, New Jersey governor Chris Christie, Ohio governor John Kasich and Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal are also expected to jump into the race soon.

Will the slimeball talk about how his family has prospered by doing the bidding for the Globalist/NWO movement at the expense of American citizens and taxpayers?
“Growing” the Republican party does not sound honorable or in any way, good. It has become a cancer on our Nation, state, and counties, in some ways worse than the cancer known as the Democrat party. It seems some radiation or chemo are in order for both of them.
“It seems some radiation or chemo are in order for both of them.”
+10! Here, Here!
The beauty of progressive liberalism, secular humanism and the Democrat Party which defends the destruction in America, is it’s monolithic hypocrisy. Liberals are pathologically dishonest hypocrites whose cry is invariably “It’s NEVER fascist when we do it” because they have conveniently pre-defined themselves as virtuous and their opponents as guilty.
I just defined YOU and the other “progressive Facists” that spew poison 24/7 on Fits! Ha!
“..they have conveniently pre-defined themselves as virtuous and their opponents as guilty.”
When they do this, painting the opposition as losers, racists, religious zealots, etc, they are trying to make the opposition’s point untenable because they want the opposition to be perceived as terrible individuals. Therefore, to the left, no debate on the matter is necessary, which by the way, the left would inevitably lose, because the left’s opposition are terrible people.
Notice that YKMN did not discuss the issue, his entire tirade was to discredit the opposition, A standard these days for the left.
Your comments are usually spot-on and I am almost always in agreement with them. Do you fail to see how these “Republican” slimeballs such as the Bush family, Boehner, Grahamnasty, and Songbird McCain, are selling their souls and our lives out to the highest bidder? You are one of the few whose eyes are usually open. Just because they say they are “Republican” or “Conservative” it no more makes them such than if I told you I was a devout Muslim would make me such.
I have slightly more respect for a Pelosi than I do Bush. She doesn’t try to hide yhe fact that she is a liberal nut job who would sell us out in a skinny minute.
All of us at times, engage in hyperbole that is not consistent with an unbiased opinion or assessment. When you claim that the Bush family and others are “are selling their souls and our lives out to the highest bidder?,” surely, you are not suggesting that who could be Bush’s main opposition has not been involved in selling her influence and future consideration through the Clinton Foundation. And the national press refuses to investigate and expose their corruption. The Clinton’s personal and political existence has been more closely protected than Colonel Sanders’ fifty seven herbs and spices.
And yes, you are correct, it happens on both sides, call it out, make them explain why they support plan A or plan B.
When the MSM and everyone starts scrutinizing the Clinton’s and asking the tough to the Clinton’s and Democrats as much as they do the Republican field, then it may become a level playing field.
My apologies for offending you, you are usually fair and considerate in your posts and responses and make some good points.
By the way, I am not a Bush supporter, I do like the idea of a governor, but not locked in yet.
Hi Erneba! Thank you for your reply! FWIW, please note that I also classified the Democrat Party as a cancer, along with the Republicans. I have less than zero use for Billary, having great resentment for their bedding with the Chinese government as well as the “Crime Bill” that did much harm to gun owners in this country on multiple levels. The reason I go after the Bushes, Boehner, Graham, McCain, Joe Wilson, and their kind so rabidly is that they are all truly turncoats and sellouts of the lowest order. They are supposed to be fixing stuff people like the Clintons and Obama do to us or opposing them and claim often to do so, but they are in bed with the Democrats, seemingly selling us and our country out to them at every turn.
As I have often noted, I have more respect for the drug dealer than the crooked cop or judge who is on his payroll. The drug dealer is just being who he is and foing what he does. The crooked cop or judge on his payroll is going against all he supposedly stands for.
Thank you for your rely, I did not fully comprehended your comment. My judgement was premature and too harsh. I have also taken shots at the Republicans, and it seems all politicians deserve it from time to time…to be honest, the Republicans that you laid into are not my favorites either. Keep up the good comments and I will see you on this site..

Character assassination is a last resort in debate. The left and the quasi-socialist “progressive” Fascist elites use that tack regularly and have, probably since the beginnings of “communist” revolution.
Don’t let the losers drag you down. Just walk ten paces back and return fire, calmly, with better aim.
“You Know My Name” is the furthest from “progressive”, “facists”, or “liberal” as anyone you would ever meet. Just because he doesn’t subscribe to your brand of NWO/Globalist/Atlanticist thinking doesn’t mean he’s a “progressive”, “facists”, or “liberal”. You really should look those words up, they don’t mean what you think they mean.
“Stick and stones …”
We all have our faults. I am surprised to see of late some middle of the road democrats getting just as discouraged as “the rest of us” about the state of Gruberment, generally, and this current administration.
Me? I’m not completely perfect, either.
Karl Rove’s meat puppet, fur sure. Even Hillary isn’t as beholding to a controller, except maybe the Lizard from New Orleeens.
Sometimes the patient is too far gone and the best thing is to grant them a swift and merciful demise than to try and keep them barely alive with barbaric treatments. Neither party will be missed anyways.
“Republican” x 3 = 3 sips
3rd person reference x 4 = 4 sips
#FITSDrunk Score = 7 Sips / barely buzzed
Sorry I will miss the announcement. I have to shampoo my hair.
Haha! I’m with you there! I’ll probably be counting the wrinkles on my scrotum around the time he announces.
I wonder if he’s going to run.
Ha! It’s only been announced 10-15 or so times on this site. I’m starting to doubt it is actually true :)
I understand the advantage of negative campaigning, but I sure am interested in the candidates that are of interest. I’m sure that will come at a later date, but would like a peek now.
Not my circus, not my monkeys
I’ve said on several occasions : “Jeb ain’t George.” I have all the respect in the world for George. Great American and more importantly great person. The rest of the Bushes, not so much. Hopefully another around the bowl and down the hole. If he would just take the establishment GOP with him.
Hillary is stuck at 45%-47%. 50% of the people will not vote for her.If Jeb is nominee she wins.
Sadly true.
George Will called Bush a “Reagan Republican” today. Comment? Opinion? I puked.
A Clintonian Republican.
lol..Bill has become more liberal than Obama in his old age.
I often wonder how many times I am replying to the same person using another alias? I see people on this site comment one way one day and take completely opposite position the next.
It’s kind of like lying in the way it’s hard to keep up with a lie and each time it grows to cover the last lie. I ponder how difficult it must be to keep up with the various aliases? You know – those that are all over the board for the sake of keeping someone commenting.
We are wondering how in the fuck you had “several hours” of mowing on your plate today and yet you have been posting all day? :)))))))
Nice. You have accused the Fits “crew” of hacking your email-now you call them liars.
Carry on.
It rained. Any other questions you’d like to ask. Would you like for me to go into detail about… my sunburn from 6 hours mowing yesterday, that I cooked meals for 18 days the day before, that I also cooked breakfast and a casserole before mowing yesterday? What exactly are you interested in? Certainly not the truth.
I’m wondering why the “fuck” you, or your friends, are replying from the beach. I may be one of the few REAL commenters on this site. Say it isn’t so.
I thought you were leaving.
Getting pogo to leave and start a life as a productive human being would take a miracle of biblical proportions.
This is a replay of the past elections. The Bush family has played this playbook twice, the GOP three times. The playbook is simple, avoid your name, hammer the Clinton’s as scandal ridden, and untrustworthy. They did it in 1992, 1996 and 2000. They lost in 1992 and 1996, barely won in 2000 – using the Monica Lewinsky scandal as how Clinton besmirched the Oval Office. So Jeb will run a campaign that stays away from domestic issues of the economy (because to talk about that reminds people of GWB and the collapse), will play up immigration reform for Latina votes (and pick Marco as running mate), and just bash Hillary. Hillary will remind everyone how great the economy was under Bill. The far fringes of each party will sit out, the right wing won’t trust Jeb, the far left won’t like Hillary. Most moderate independents won’t care for either and sit out. It will come down to this – who can get the largest number of moderate base voters out, and who wins the Latinos. If Jeb can crack 40% with the Latinos he’s the next President. If he can’t – he’s not.
I think the Bushies’ plan is simple: it’s called the MS Thad Cochran Plan. That is, Iowa is a certain loss for Jeb because it is a closed primary, as all of the GOP state primaries should be. But Clinton is unopposed (the VT socialist loon is a joke), so in NH and SC, where there are (outrageous) open primaries, the Bushies expect the Dems to to cross over and vote for Jeb. NH will get Jeb even with either Cruz or Walker. Then SC is everything for Jeb and the Bushies. They are counting on black Dems to cross over and give Jeb the victory, as liberal Dem whites will in NH. But SC is the ultimate because it is a solid red state, so the leftist MSM, joined by pro-Jeb Fox News, will say: “Look, Jeb won conservative SC, so he is not a lib or moderate.” They will declare him the nominee. As a conservative, I’m counting on Cruz and Walker will in the fall, throw a fit over this setup, well before this nonsense is attempted by the U.S. Establishment. If not, then Cruz and Walker are in on the fix, and we need a Conservative Party. A Bush nomination is a certain win for Clinton because of a massive conservative boycott: just like the U.S. Estbl. plans it. (Clinton won’t even need the Fed.)
I do think it could also be thwarted by Talk Radio, The DC, Breitbart News, Drudge, etc. if all of these orgs shine a light on this treachery. But Cruz & Walker must.
Bush don’t stand a chance. He will NOT be nominee.
He doesn’t need SC. FL is now winner take all. In fact, if he wins MI, PA, CA, NY, FL, WI, IL, IN, OH – that’s over 700 delegates – and those are all winner take all states. Kasich will bail before OH votes, Bush will pound Walker into the dirt by end of this summer to secure WI, same with Sanitorium to secure PA. He could win those states easy, split the rest, and have it wrapped up. It will take him until late April to win it, but he can stay away from the Pound on Pedro rhetoric, hold the northern states, let others win some prorated amount in Hate Hispanic states, and still win.
lol…You better focus on the brain injured Hillary who appears to be unstable in public.
Bush has NO chance for nomination.
Oh Bush wins. But I’ll tell you about ole’ Jebodiah. I was in FL for part of his “miracle” and here’s how it went. Around 2003 and 2004 he was getting this windfall of money in deed stamps because of the real estate bubble. Like to the tune of an extra 1.5 to 2 billion a year. Suddenly it was Christmas for everyone. Your kid gets a B average, we’ll pay the tuition at Gainesville, or FSU. Hospitals burdened with cost of uninsured – Low Income Pool cash barrel. What, school systems want money for the band, for the football team, for capital improvements – sure – have some cash. Then when Jubulan leaves office, and the bubble bursts, well too bad for you. He is the consummate Spend and Borrower Liberal Republican. But he’ll win.
Doesn’t matter.Bush can’t win nomination.
Yeah … being born in Texas means He is ineligible.
Here’s a snapshot of Republican Jeb Bush’s record as Florida governor from January 1999 to January 2007:
JOBS: Florida added 1.32 million jobs during Bush’s eight years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics charts. As reference points, Wisconsin added 162,000 jobs during one term under Scott Walker and Texas added 2.25 million jobs during Rick Perry’s 14 years as governor there.
ECONOMIC GROWTH: Florida’s GDP grew an average of 7.2 percent during Bush’s tenure, according to U.S. Department of Commerce records. The average was 5.3 percent for the United States as a whole in that period.
TAXES: Bush cut Florida’s taxes by $19 billion, his aides say. He imposed sales tax holidays, scrapped a $10 annual car emissions test and got rid of an “intangibles” tax that saved stock investors and money savers more than $1 billion a year.
JOB APPROVAL RATING: While George W. Bush struggled in the White House with a 37 percent approval rating in January 2007, Jeb Bush’s job approval was 64 percent when he left office that month. In Iowa, that’s Chuck Grassley territory. It’s higher than any of Terry Branstad’s job approval ratings in his latest iteration as governor.

oops…caught ya in another one Rocky!
Actually the 19 million tax cut was debunked by the Tampa Tribune – his great job creation was from the housing bubble, and the state was stuck at 9% for years even after Scott came to office. For all his great “things” Florida tax revenue crashed after 2006 when he left office, and still hasn’t recovered to 2006 levels. And Terry Shievo is still – DEAD.
She’ll be just fine. We’re actually voting on a return of Bill.
