TEENAGE POOL PARTY IN DALLAS SUBURB LEADS TO POLICE BRUTALITY

|| By FITSNEWS || Another day, another “Cops Gone Wild” scandal.  Only this one comes from an upscale suburban neighborhood in Texas – where officers of the McKinney police department went nuts on a group of teenagers attending a birthday pool party.

In jarring eyewitness videos, officers are seen yelling obscenities and brandishing weapons at swimsuit-wearing teens in this Dallas suburb.  At one point, one of the cops threw a 14-year-old black teenage girl to the ground.

Making matters worse?  Some are alleging the drama began when residents of the ritzy suburban neighborhood complained about too many black kids being at the pool party.

So … what happened?

In one YouTube interview, a black girl named Tatiana Rhodes says a white resident of the neighborhood assaulted and attacked her.

“You need to go back to where you’re from – go back to your Section 8 home,” Rhodes said the woman told her.

Here’s a video of that incident …

Others say race didn’t factor into the police being called … although their conduct afterward was “uncalled for.”

“A situation between a mom and a girl broke out and when the cops showed up everyone ran, including the people who didn’t do anything,” one witness said.  “So the cops just started putting everyone on the ground and in handcuffs for no reason. This kind of force is uncalled for especially on children and innocent bystanders.”

Here’s a look at the excessive force …

(Click to play)

(Vid via)

The officer in the clip – David Eric Casebolt – has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.

Is that enough, though?

“Had it been a parent trying to grind his kid’s face into the pavement, Child Protective Services would have immediately removed the girl from the home and the father would be rotting in jail this very moment,” Simon Black of Sovereign Man wrote. “But when a police officer does it, he goes on ‘leave.’ And only when he’s unlucky enough to be caught on camera.”

Indeed …

And as we’ve seen, cops don’t like being filmed.

There’s no racism in America. The only racists are those race hustlers Jackson and Sharpton. The liberal media just makes incidents like this up. Cops love black people, honest! They were just trying to give Eric Garner a hug!

I read one of their stats that they spend over 100 hours a month on weapons training (including sweet ninja rolls) but only 20 hours a month on communication and deescalation. As you can see here the tax payers are getting exactly what they paid for with all that training.

Reply
The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 8:54 am

Bovine excreta, there are only 200 hours in a normal work month. There’s no way they spend half that on “weapons training”. If you are talking about their “academy time”, it makes sense to me that they’d spend considerably more time on the deadly force side of the equation since, well, it involves deadly force…

We didn’t do nuthin, we was just trespassing…

Once again, follow the orders of the police. If they’re are doing something unconstitutional sue them later. It’ll save you an ass beating and may keep you from getting shot.

Or we could make examples out of bad cops so that the average citizen has less of a reason to fear for his life any time he sees blue lights. Can’t believe you are admitting that someone may be unlawfully beaten or shot and the solution isn’t to jail the cop, but to tell the victims they should cower before the power hungry dick who assaulted them.

Please note the order of events I offered.
Step 1: “Follow the orders of the police…”
Step 2: “…sue them later”

Most of these “children” failed to follow Step 1. Had they done so, no physical harm, no physical foul. Would they then have had grounds for step 2? Maybe.

If bad cops injure or kill NORPs for unjustified reasons yet get slaps on the wrist or walk away with no punishment at all, what makes you think some silly lawsuit is going to make it? You do realize lawsuits cost money and if you fail you spent it for nothing right? You do know that you are suing government in their own court and hoping they don’t rule in their own favor right? You offered a non-solution.

The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 9:49 am

Generally, if you follow Step 1, there will be no need for Step 2 are you really that dense?

Bullshit June 9, 2015 at 9:57 am

Not following Step 1 does not mean you should be brutalized or killed. Are you that dense?

Following Step 1 doesn’t stop a cop from violently lashing out either, but I’ll start off slow so you have enough time to adequately apologize for bad cops.

Daniel Boome June 9, 2015 at 10:08 am

And your thought process is why lawlessness will continue to increase. You don’t deserve to be killed, therefore following the law is optional. You don’t deserve to be disrespected by the police for not following the law, therefore it’s optional.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1ADeiB9Ypg

The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 10:11 am

Hmmm, in every “race case” this year, the person harmed failed to follow Step 1.

Michael Brown – failed to get out of the street when legally ordered to do so instigating all of the following chaos in Ferguson.

Eric Garner resisted arrest because “…he was tired of being harassed by police for selling loosies..” (breaking the law), instigating the arrest that cost him his life.

Freddie Gray may or may not have had a legit arrest but actions of other criminals attacking police when they were being secured in the “Paddy Wagon” resulted in a Baltimore Police policy of not securing the prisoners – allegedly leading to his eventual death. Initial reports from a fellow prisoner claimed that Gray was flailing around in the wagon, likely injuring himself.

Jessica Hernandez failed to stop when ordered to do so by police and during the ensuing chase was shot dead after hitting a police officer with the car – a car she had stolen from her mother and was driving while she had a revoked license – her mother’s comments on the whole thing? “…I want another autopsy on my daughter so we can know how much damage they did…”

Closer to Home June 9, 2015 at 10:30 am

There were two very recent cases in South Carolina where a black man was shot at for something that did not call for deadly force. At least one of them is still alive to sue the cops, right? At least those officers are being charged with something.

The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 7:55 pm

The North Charleston case is just dumb policeman, no ifs, and or buts. One of my subordinates is an officer for the NCPD, he was adamant that Slager was not “…any more racist than any other white or black cop…” and thought he was just stupid. He predicted Man 2 as the eventual finding.

You Know My Name June 9, 2015 at 10:42 am

So it would appear.

sparklecity June 9, 2015 at 10:51 am

No doubt that the details are coming out that show more than what was first reported. The “old saying” that there are two sides to every story rings truer every day. Eventually the cops will want the ability to jam cell phone and other electronic devices at the touch of a button and will demand that they have the authority and they will get it. It won’t be the feds limiting your personal freedom it will be your “friendly” local law enforcement agency. Cops can’t stand to be videoed—and it’s only going to get worse.
I’ll obey the law but personally I’ve had just about enough of “cop swager” myself. The older I get the less I respect cops (it must be my Celtic blood for my growing distrust of authority…….).
Again, I’ll obey the law but that don’t mean I have to respect a lot of the individuals in the law enforcement “industry”. It has become a place for military “wanna-be’s” under the age of 30 to kick ass. Something tells me that the great majority of these cops who have been doing this shit lately are not veterans – I served with reservists who are cops and I can’t see one of them pulling this shit and i was with them under EXTREMELY stressfull situations in the desert – I ain’t refering to them but I have obesrved many cops who i know who aren’t veterans and they are generally assholes who can’t wait to bust some heads so they can assert their authority.
My solution is to make the “police force” at least 50% women and the males who are cops be veterans.
There is no argument that it is VERY hard to be a good cop but this shit is getting out of hand. Between using force to tase a woman in a wheelchair to the unbelievable amount of gear they now have (better than I had when I was in Iraq and DEFINATELY better when we were about to go “toe to toe'” with the Russkies in October, 1973)
*****I did hear on the video the cop in question bitching because he was wearing 30 pounds of gear and it was fucking up his day***
+++++If cops like him don’t like it they can fucking quit—-they ain’t being drafted for the job.++++
Plenty of work in the private security “industry” from what I’ve read.
it’s gonna head that way anyhow. Gated communities with their own “protection service” – it’s kinda that way now and will only become more commonplace. Everybody else will have to fend for themselves
*******Soylent Green is only about 25 years away!!!!!!*****

The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 10:55 am

I submit that there are always at least three “truths” to any two person incident – your truth, my truth and “the truth”.

sparklecity June 9, 2015 at 11:22 am

Can’t argue with that but tell that to the police……
If they are in the wrong the odds are stacked against you and even if you win the lawsuit the damages will be limited by statute.
I read in the paper the other day two brothers in North Carolina were unlawfully imprisioned for over 10 (maybe 30) years and were found innocent of the crime (I think they were charged with rape & DNA proved they did NOT do it). They get $50K per year for each year of jail and maxes out at $750K.
That’s bullshit – you lose your freedom for 10- 30 years and are proven innocent and the most you get is a measly $750,000??
Your life has been ruined and you can never recover the years of freedom you lost. i say the sky is the limit for the wrongly jailed as far as compensation is concerned.
The state has you over a barrel no matter what.

The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 11:34 am

The Innocence Project (the chief agency responsible for many of the DNA reversals) places wrongful convictions at 0.5% and that estimate is probably higher Many of the folks they have gotten released were guilty of other crimes and they’ve gotten a couple of criminals released who are clearly guilty. They’ve even gotten at least one guy who was innocent sent to prison (google Alstory Simon).

sparklecity June 9, 2015 at 12:18 pm

So once guilty ALWAYS guilty huh????
Using that logic maybe we should go back to branding on the forehead after the 3rd arrest no matter how trival the situation is (maybe 3rd offense jaywalking or littering???)
From what I’ve read onec you are incarcerated at a state institution you are swabbed for DNA anyway so that has become the 20th/21st century of branding anyway.

Go get yourself wrongly imprisioned for something you did not do. Then get back to me and let me know how you feel…….
By now you should realize that I ain’t no pinko fag liberal wringing my hands over every single person in handcuffs don’t you????

I’m standing by what i post: The more i see these days concerning local law “enforcement”, the less empathy I have towards the ones doing the “enforcement”.

The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 12:36 pm

Branding after the third arrest actually sounds like a good idea…
I kid.

My point is that all of this “hand wringing” is largely misguided – the 5 year average for a police involved shooting is 402 per year. That works out to just over a 1 in a million chance you will ever be involved in a shooting by a policeman (shot at, not just shot or killed)

Meanwhile, the murder rate is 45 per million. The violent assault rate is 2,401 per million, rape 1,110 per million and all we’re worried about is how bad our policeman are.

Maybe if we’d focus on personal responsibility and good citizenship the “police brutality” thing would fall off the radar.

sparklecity June 9, 2015 at 1:25 pm

“Personal Responsibility & good citizenship…police brutality fall off the radar”
Couldn’t agree more…………..looks like those damn liberals in Canada and western Europe got that shit down pat!!!!!
Where did we go wrong????? We have more personal firearms than everybody else and we have one of the highest incarceration rates in the world and yet some cry out for more law and order……which helped Nixon win back in 1968 when all the hippies were raising hell over Vietnam………..
You and I have been over in the middle east (me multiple times since 1992).
I’ll never forget my “condensed” in-county briefing during Gulf I. The “briefing” consisted of:
1.”Don’t even think of making time with Saudi women (in the rare case you encounter one) and don’t cause one fucking bit of trouble with the Saudis in general”
2. “Don’t pet the cats – they all got rabies”
3. “Chop-Chop” (i.e. cutting off of extremities to include beheading) is on Friday’s”
That’s REAL law & order for ya!!!! Only thing was punishment went to the TCN’s and NOT to Saudi’s…….
Same thing (obviously on a much smaller scale) has been happening in this country for a long damn time when it comes to criminal justice and law enforcement in general. And it will only get worse.

The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 10:44 pm

I’d start with alcohol control, 10,000 people a year are killed by drunk drivers (and most of them aren’t thugs killing other thugs) and another 290,000 are injured.

Limbaughsaphatkhunt June 9, 2015 at 11:06 pm

You sure? Something north of 50,000 people a year die by way of firearms…wouldn’t you want more “bang for your buck” so to speak.

The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 11:17 pm

The number is actually less than 30,000 and a significant number of those are suicides.

Limbaughsaphatkhunt June 9, 2015 at 11:34 pm

fair enough 30,000 it is. I’m sure it’s what the founders had in mind.

The Colonel June 10, 2015 at 6:12 am

They clearly didn’t have the ridiculous levels of deportation of church and state that we’ve gone to in mind either.

Suicide is Painless June 10, 2015 at 12:06 am

In 2012, the latest year for which data is available, 64 percent of deaths from gun violence were suicides, so who cares. You’re more likely to be struck by lightning than be killed by someone with a firearm.

Limbaughsaphatkhunt June 10, 2015 at 12:16 am

‘Cept guns are man made and deaths are 100% preventable. Lightening is natural.

Suicide is Painless June 10, 2015 at 12:48 am

So is opium. Point being if someone wants to take themselves out they’ll find away. Jump off a building, bridge, cliff. Eat poison berries, drive 90 MPH in to a overpass bridge piling, make a cop shoot them, etc. etc. etc. Suicides shouldn’t count in gun “violence” statistics as suicide is “violence” against another person.

Suicide is Painless June 10, 2015 at 1:12 am

Suicides shouldn’t count in gun “violence” statistics as suicide isn’t “violence” against another person.

Suicide is Painless June 10, 2015 at 12:50 am

BTW it’s Lightning not Lightening.

Lightning – abrupt electric discharge from cloud to cloud or from cloud to earth accompanied by the emission of light.

Lightening – descent of the uterus into the pelvic cavity that occurs late in pregnancy; the fetus is said to have dropped.

Know the difference. You look more stupid than normal.

The Colonel June 10, 2015 at 6:06 am

And? You’re more likely to be killed by a drunk driver than a firearm, alcohol is man-made…

The Colonel June 10, 2015 at 12:02 pm

Cars and alcohol are both man made and drunk driving is 100% preventable – and far more likely to get you killed or injured.

Limbaughsaphatkhunt June 10, 2015 at 4:37 pm

Interesting. Funny enough we have tough laws to control and punish drunk driving and age requirements to purchase alcohol and random traffic stops to find people who are drunk while driving.
So by your logic, you’d be happy with gun control then no?

The Colonel June 10, 2015 at 6:13 pm

Gun laws vastly outnumber alcohol laws (except for taxation schemes).

21 seems about right for alcohol (though frankly I’d favor 25 because that really separates the high schooler from the legal age types, that is why the age is 21 now).

I’d be inclined to go with the same for all guns, right now ownership law varies by state and by type. I have no problem with some of the 12 yearolds I know who hunt or shoot supporting clays having a shotgun but I know plenty of thirty year olds I wouldn’t trust with an airsoft. I think a felony conviction of any type involving violence should be a permanent bar to ownership of a firearm but I’m open to debate there.

pauldrake June 10, 2015 at 11:05 am

I’d like to see that in print. It is actually much higher. In fact an accomplished criminologist and researcher I know (who is not a liberal democrat) also puts the false conviction rate at about 4-5%. http://phenomena.nationalgeographic.com/2014/04/28/how-many-people-are-wrongly-convicted-researchers-do-the-math/

“When you break a part of the law, the officer can hardly be blamed for breaking another part of it.

…if you assault an officer, and then try to run away, for instance…. after breaking the law, be prepared to die.The Constitution has no opinion on severity of the crime”

You bring up several interesting issues:

First, the issue of disobeying a lawful order:

When is the last time you heard of a mundane successfully defending himself against a unlawful order?

You don’t EVER hear of it, mostly because it rarely happens and when it does the MSM doesn’t report it. Now that isn’t the issue in this case, but it does speak to the issue of “justice” in the USSA.

Second, and similar to your note, there is no codified “proportionality of justice” in the Constitution(nor any other current government constitution I know of).

What is plainly obvious to most here is that the officer violated most people’s sense of “proportionality”.

A middle aged officer trained in martial arts roughing up a mouthy teenage girl strikes many people as extreme, unnecessary, & lacking in proportionality- hence the outrage.

It probably is what drove the other young men, out of instinct, to try to get the officer off of her before he drew down.

That notion harkens back to “natural law”, which is difficult to codify but a valid concept none the less.

Many years back a group of friends were riding around in a souped up convertible

Wasn’t long before a County Mounty pulled them over. While the Deputy was talking to the driver a passenger in the back jumped up and started voicing his right to free speech

Moments later the passenger found himself unconscious on the rear floorboard

Later when the young fella fully regained his senses he yelled from his jail cell for the jailer to call his daddy who was a local judge

The jailer yelled back he had already called and his daddy’s message was, yes he had the right to free speech but not the right to exercise it when common sense said to keep your damn mouth shut

If people that are giving invites to the pool that aren’t homeowners then it is trespassing. So any more than 2 guests or invites by non homeowners in there and its not a real invitation. Watch this. Anyone shot here? No.

Chance of being shot by a policeman for all causes right at 1 in a million. You are far more likely to die from fireworks (1 in 340,733), lightning (1 in 79,746), drowning (1 in 1,134), a car accident (1 in 84), stroke (1 in 24), or heart disease (1 in 5).

Policemen are not a threat to law abiding citizens no matter how much you want to argue the case.

sparklecity June 9, 2015 at 2:04 pm

It depends on the “threat” threshold as whether you are a law abiding citizen or not. The cop by virtue of the state percieves whether you are a threat or not.
There will come a time when a cop will not have your best interest in mind:.
“If you have nothing to fear if you have done nothing wrong. Trust us, We are (insert state/county/local here) law enforcement and are performing a random sweep. Now, please kindly place you index finger on the DNA sensor. Please be advised if you refuse you are subject to detention for a unspecified period of time.”
It will come to that don’t you fucking worry. And “law abiding citizens” will cheer them on in the name of “law and order”

I’m just pissed that we don’t have a “sky-cycle” like in “The Empire Strikes Back”
Sadly we will probably have random DNA sweeps before we get “sky cycles”.
(if we EVER get ‘sky cycles” , that is……….) DNA sweeps are a certainty. Not a matter of “if” but “when”

Exactly. This community is apparently very diverse. The home owners association only allows 2 guests per resident.

It all started when those not invited started jumping the fence and assaulting the adults supervising the party.

Obama and this DOJ has told the youth in America that the law doesn’t matter and thuggish behavior is now rewarded.

True — and good advice. I gave the same to my sons when they were young. But it still doesn’t excuse police over-reaction or excessive force.

Reply
The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 11:39 am

There is no excuse for the use of excessive force or blatant over reaction and no reasonable person would try to excuse it. The fact that the young lady in the picture got “rodeo clowned” to the ground doesn’t mean excessive force was used and based on the reports that numerous “peaceful, sweet, weren’t doin nuttin utes” had jumped over the fence and had refused to obey to community pool guard, the police response appears to have been reasonable.

Except for you and a couple of others excusing it by victim blaming and calling being thrown to the ground something different. His actions drastically escalated the situation which is something cops should be trained NOT to do.

Reply
The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 12:13 pm

The child should have been trained to obey the orders of a policeman and adults in a position of authority over them – the Pool Lifeguards could not control the “utes”, a fight between the young lady who invited some of the “utes” and her mother ensued and the cops were called. Watch the tape – the only person who gets “roughed up” is the mouthy girl who refused to comply – even though there were seventy or more “utes” running around.

Standard police take down procedure. You aren’t very smart are you?

The Colonel June 10, 2015 at 12:10 pm

I’m a larger than average man. On a couple of occasions, I’ve had to step into a “falderall”. I used everything at my disposal to quickly control the situation – once that included a old school rotary phone to the head. From what I could see the officer used standard techniques to control a suspect who refused to obey an order – could he have gotten off of her once she had calmed down? Absolutely. Should he have maybe dealt with her in another way – just as absolutely yes, but there comes a time when refusing to shut up and comply interferes with his ability to do his job. Had the young “lady” shut her mouth and had a seat when he first ordered her to, the “rodeo clown” moves would not have happened.

Most people have seen only part of the videos made at the pool party fight. Security personnel called the police when teenagers denied entrance to the pool scaled the fences and begin fighting with residents who complained. (The girl the officer has pinned to the grown is shown in an earlier video fighting with a female resident of the gate community. She’s not “an innocent bystander.) When the police arrive, videos show security personnel pointing out the teenagers who were fighting to the police. They teenagers react by fleeing or resisting arrest. The video shows the teenage girls attempting to pull away. She is clearly resisting arrest He uses a wrist lock too force to the ground. He doesn’t use his baton or Taser. The officer draws his gun when two males rush at him, clearly trying to interfere with the arrest.

Sorry, that is not required by the Constitution. You are required to comply with any lawful order issued to you by a policeman. If he arrests you, you have a number of rights and remedies. If he issues an unlawful order you also have a number of remedies but if the order is lawful and you fail to comply, you sir are a criminal.

But you are missing the whole point. These “utes” clearly knew they had done something wrong – that’s why they ran. Had the young “lady” in the picture complied with the original order to get lost, none of this would have happened. watch the video beginning at about 2:30, the policeman clearly had words with her leading up to the grounding about.

Remember what led up to this incident was the fight between the girl and her mother and the “utes” jumping the fence and failing to obey the life guards.

sparklecity June 10, 2015 at 9:07 am

Fuck man,
I don’t know of one Chief of Police who is politically appointed. All I’ve ever read or know of are interviewed by town/city council AFTER a number of applicants have been screened prior to the interviews and then the “best one” (yeah, right) is offered the position. The process is “supposed” to be APOLITICAL (which is the way it SHOULD be). Police Chiefs (as far as I know) are SELECTED not politically appointed per se.
But then again, the Great State of South Carolina’s Adjutant General of the SC National Guard (at present) is an elected official – that bullshit ends at the next state wide election.
Obviously, sheriffs in SC are elected and you see how that goes sometimes.
Following your posting’s logic since the Chief is politically appointed, all his/her subordinates are politically appointed as well – same as deputies under an elected official (i.e. the sheriff)
That being the case under your logic makes me distrust the motherfuckers even more………………

The Colonel June 10, 2015 at 9:37 am

Come on Sparkie, you’ve followed the trials and tribulations of the CPD if only through Fits.
Let’s see if I can get the names right – since 2007, we’ve had Holbrook, Scott, Santiago, Crisp, Carter and I know I’m leaving a few out. Almost all were appointed and most resigned under a cloud.

Unlike the Chief, the rank and file policeman is hired following an established city hiring procedure, completely different than the Chief. I have never had much use for the Chief of CPD dating back to Austin but generally hold the majority of policemen that I know in high regard.

sparklecity June 10, 2015 at 10:09 am

I telling you what I know….
1.Spartanburg City: new Chief was SELECTED by city council AFTER shitloads of applicants followed by interviews of 5 or less final applicants from all over
2. Greenville City:- same fucking thing
3. Duncan – same fucking thing
4. Lyman – same fucking thing
5. Chesnee – same fucking thing

YOu get the idea. #’s 1 & 2 happened within the last two years and were big deals
#’s 3-6: don’t remember the time span are “small fry” and like most small town forces the Chiefs come and go some under duress but some were from out of state.
That being posted, I don’t trust Lyman,Duncan Wellford or Chesnee cops one fucking bit – high regard my ass!!
I’ve not gotten a ticket from ANY of them either…..

The Colonel June 10, 2015 at 11:13 am

Right – the Chief was selected by pols (City Council) – hence, he is beholding to the pols, hence he’s political as well (more often than not).

sparklecity June 10, 2015 at 1:32 pm

How do you know he/she is??? And the key phrase is “More often than not” which means that there are some that are not beholden to the politics of council(as it SHOULD be)
Did the city council require him/her to take a loyality pledge to the political party in charge? Or was it to enforce the laws of the USA,state and municipality
When is the last time you saw a “Rep”,”Dem” or “Ind”(only in my dreams…) after the Chief’s name? You sure as hell do for the sheriff who is an ELECTED official (in SC and most states as far as I know)
Did you or I pledge loyality to a political party when we were in the military and make our decisions based on the COC’s political party or what was best for our unit and country?
If I didn’t know better I’d think you are a communist because that is the only party where a political officer is part of the military organization and makes decisions based on the party. (civil for that matter)
As a conservative is that what you are espousing for police departments?

sparklecity June 10, 2015 at 1:49 pm

Correct, they were SELECTED and not APPOINTED as you had posted earlier. They are NOT political appointees. Beholden???Maybe- maybe not
Without a doubt politics rears it ugly head from time to time but as far as I’m concerned cops should stay out of politics.
Did you take a political party pledge when you took the oath as a member of the Armed Forces of the United States of America or be beholden to any political party while serving in uniform?
I know i didn’t.

The Colonel June 10, 2015 at 4:24 pm

Call it what you will, they were “selected by politicians” and work at the will of those same politicians. I on the other hand was commissioned by an act of Congress after having been selected by a board of unelected officers. My continued service is now at the pleasure of the president and I can get the old heave ho at any time he or a board of officers pleases.

Limbaughsaphatkhunt June 9, 2015 at 8:29 pm

Total bullshit. Later evidence turns out that most of the kids had pool passes and were allowed access to be there.

The problem was white folks who felt their precious private pool was in jeopardy b/c of a few black teens and called the cops. Once the cops arrive (if you watch the video) the one guy has gone completely nuts and verbally abuses people trying to comply, gives contradictory orders, pulls his gun on UNARMED teens who didn’t even touch him and uses rough tactics, holds and arm locks on an unarmed and smaller teen girl.

There is a constitutional right to film cops as well as to sound off on them as long as you don’t threaten physical harm or present a clear danger. Hurling insults at cops is protected speech and NOT grounds for arrest or mistreatment.

Total pig. Fire him now.

He was not alone. At least two other cops rush into the frame as soon as he draws his gun…as they know he’s fucked himself. In fact, there were multiple cops on the scene from the get go.
Even despite that, if he felt threatened while throttling a young black girl, there are non-lethal options such as tasers, pepper spray, bean bags, etc. Yet….he goes straight for the gun.

Reply
The Colonel June 9, 2015 at 8:47 pm

Here, let me help you, “…he WAS alone UNTIL two other cops rush in…”. As for the non-lethal options, a Taser is a single shot device. Bean bags are fired from shot guns which he wasn’t carrying and pepper spray is not universally effective against multiple targets.

SCBlueWoman June 10, 2015 at 8:34 am

According to the police chief, there were 12 officers on site at the time of this event. He also said that the cop was out of control from the time he arrived and his actions were totally unacceptable. He would have been fired had he not resigned. Keep defending the cop though.

The Colonel June 10, 2015 at 8:56 am

I am not defending the policeman. I have from the beginning striven to place the blame where it belongs – on the out of control kids.

get a clue June 10, 2015 at 11:52 am

But you see to most ignorant idiots like SCBlueWoman that part doesn’t matter. Yes the cop deserved to be fired (and should have charges brought up) but that is no reason to ignore the out of control kids that were the whole reason the bad cop was called in the first place. The fact the cop was out of control doesn’t make the kids innocent They will never understand that and that lack ok knowledge or understanding is what makes people like SCBlueWoman ignorant. Also please not neither you nor I have mentioned anything about color or race, but I am sure we will be called racists.

The Colonel June 10, 2015 at 12:00 pm

Already have been called a racist because I used the word “utes” – guess he’d never seen My Cousin Vinnie…

There is a class of people who will always find fault with the system choosing to focus on symptoms rather than looking for causes. Was the officer out of control, yeah probably. Did he drive into the neighborhood looking to run wild – probably not. Can his drawing of his weapon be explained – certainly, you surround me as he was and I’ll probably draw as well. Argue with technique all you want, the crowd immediately dispersed, no one was shot and he holstered his piece when the threat went away. “Rodeo clowning” the young “lady” was over the top – but he simply had the other miscreants who were obeying his lawful order sitting peacefully in the grass.

Never call the police for “help”. Just don’t do it.

If you do and something bad happens, you deserve it. Even if you were on the losing end of a fight, better to go home and lick your wounds and think about what actions you undertook to get your ass kicked. It’s called “personal responsibility”.

90% of the time when cops show up to the scene of a crime they do nothing or more harm.

Had something stolen? They’ll write a report. 90% likely your not getting whatever was stolen back, so don’t bother unless you need the report for insurance.

Is your neighbor acting all crazy or a relative having a nervous breakdown out in the street and you are trying to “help”? You can start by not calling the cops, who might shoot such a distressed individual. As long as they are’t hurting anyone/anything let them stand our on the street and go crazy…leave them be. Let them work it out on their own.

Got in a fight? Cops will come out and take a statement/write a report and you might still go to jail even if you didn’t start it.

Just don’t call the cops if you like peace….figure out what you did wrong and fix yourself. It’s not worth getting harmed further. There not “peace officers” anymore. Only enforcers for the state and it’s corrupt/broken justice system.

Just because the third party is a LEO there is no assurance that the LEO will exercise any more common sense than the other two parties

However to promote a unilateral mandate to NEVER call Law Enforcement ain’t the route to go

If the outcome worsens your situation most of the time, why bother?

As you point out, it’s rolling the dice. “unexpected consequences” was your specific comment.

Sure, if someone close to you was shot dead, you’ve no choice. But for a vast majority of petty crime it appears senseless to involve a third party that makes things worse.

I would reprimand the Officer for his use of language in uniform and submit him to re-training in crowd command. You don’t get respect from cussing and screaming, it only serves to keep the chaos going. What I did see correct in his part was proper identification of the inciter in that group of girls. I knew she was trouble from her first entrance into the video, based on years working security in a large nightclub. I’m only slightly disturbed by his deployment of his service weapon. The two males were trying to get at him from his blindside, but a firm grip on his weapon should have been sufficient considering how many Officers were on scene. I’m concerned that other Officers didn’t take proximity, that was a failure in training. Seems to me this “DJ” should be held accountable.

———————————————————————————————–
“Among the charges this officer should face are child endangerment, child abuse, and sexual abuse of a minor child. The way he pushed a semi-nude (bikini-clad) African American teenage girl to the ground, forced her to roll over on her stomach, pushed her face in the grass, pulled her hair, and mounted her has sadistic sexual overtones that reflect the historic rape of African women and girls by white males. If this was done by any other adult to a minor, these are the probable charges they would/should face.”

“Some are alleging the drama began when residents of the ritzy suburban neighborhood complained about too many black kids being at the pool party.”
No, nobody complained that there were “too many black kids”. They complained that there were numerous lawless, uninvited fence-jumpers there. By most accounts of people at the pool, the uninvited fence jumpers played the victim when confronted and started accusing the people at the pool of them not wanting to be there because they were black. Nobody at the pool brought up race, only the hoodlums did as a cover when confronted with their lawless behavior. That’s pretty much how it goes. And I don’t believe for one second that anybody at the pool threw out a racial slur at any black kids. I’ve heard that proven to be a lie and fraud far too many times to believe it. It’s always used by (mostly young) black people whenever they get into a tense situation because they know how volatile the accusation is and how much people bend over backwards to be sensible to those who may have had one directed at them.

The officer only drew his pistol when 5-6 “peaceful utes’ (and at least one adult) surrounded him attempting to interfere with his actions.

But naw, this cop just wanted to bust ass plain and simple and had been previously accused for doing similar shit (but the charges were dropped) But wait….once guilty or the perception of guilt is room for presumption of guilty foreve but not in the case of this cop – right???
I stand by what I post, I ain’t gonna give them no shit but I ain’t going out of my way to support or help them either. The more i see of them these days, the less I trust them. Some will do everything they can to try and bust you. It’s happened to me on more than one occassion but I knew how to react so I didn’t get arrested and i sure as hell ain’t forgot either.
You won’t see a “support you police” sticker or one of those “thin blue line” tags on my vehicles I can tell you that.

When stopped or confronted by the cops. Don’t pull an Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. You don’t have to be overly polite, just follow orders. When a police officer arrives at the scene of any incident he is in control. Dancing around, yelling and screaming, forgetting that you are living in a civilized society is not allowed. Usually tensions and emotions are elevated, don’t contribute to the chaos.
Look at what happened in Baltimore in the last few weeks, crime has run rampant, and the police are hard to find. Many more people than usual are being murdered than in the recent past. Cops aren’t going to give the extra attention to cop-hating mobs. To get them when you need them, don’t abuse them when you encounter them.

Unrelated News
Just released. Job openings at highest level since they Dept.of Labor started tracking this in 2000.

http://www.bls.gov/news.release/jolts.htm

Job openings are at 5.4 million, 267,000 higher than last month. If you go to table 2, you will see in the regional section that the South’s job openings ratio (openings/total employment percentage) is higher up and higher than other religions.

If they wanted to keep the black kids out of the pool, they picked the wrong way to do it. Now, they have hundreds of protesters in the neighborhood.

If i was a slimeball “developer” I wouldn’t put one in my “developement”
Not the way things are these days…………fer sure…………

I’d put in three and fill one with sulfuric acid, botulism toxin or plutonium laced heavy water. The interlopers would climb the fence of the less crowded one and there you go, instamatic cleansing of the gene pool.

Lilly white toddlers seem to have a habit of negotiating fences and falling into pools whether they are clean water or sulfuric acid……

That cop was out of control.

Confused about the second video though. It seems to show a black girl assaulting a white girl, yet it’s being billed as evidence of a white woman attacking a black girl. Do I need to adjust my computer settings or something?

Cops have a burden to be all wise and that is a good thing. However, the 14 year old girl failed the IQ test.

PS…would love to have seen the video from the beginning.

Three cops sent to break up a fight, control a group of rowdy, unruly kids that are non-compliant and resolve a civil matter between a resident and his community organization. It should have been a simple solution. Break up the fight and arrest the fighters. Identify the person that threw the party. Ask that person which (1) guest can stay. Order the others to leave. If they refuse then arrest them for trespassing since they didn’t leave when their invitation was rescinded. Community group can deal with resident that broke the rules in accordance with their own by-laws or through civil courts.

After reviewing the videos several times and also in slow frames, the cop was NOT out of order. All I see are a bunch of unruly teenagers running their mouths refusing to leave when directed to do so. The bikini girl was resisting arrest, as witnesses have said. Its not in video … she stepped out of the frame when the officer went to first put cuffs on her. Then the four idiots who charged on the cop – which includes the two males who clearly made THREATENING body movements as they darted in on the cop. Regardless of all the cussing … nawwww … the cop did a great job here. Kudos to him.

I guess it doesn’t matter. The hands up don’t shoot sub-humans have ruined another career with their idiocy.

McKinney Police Corporal Eric Casebolt has resigned after video showed him pushing a 15-year-old girl in a swimsuit to the ground and pointing his firearm at other teens.

Casebolt’s lawyer informed FOX4 of Casebolt’s decision.

The video of the Friday incident involving Casebolt at a McKinney neighborhood pool went viral and had initially landed Casebolt on administrative leave while police officials conduct an investigation.

Casebolt was seen pulling Dajerria Becton to the ground and pinning her with his knees while she cried out. He also pulled out his gun and pointed it at other teens and briefly ran after them before being stopped by two fellow McKinney police officers. Throughout the video Casebolt is heard repeatedly cursing.

Casebolt had served in the Navy for a decade from 1993-2003. He was an operations specialist for seven years and in the military police for another three years.

From 2003-2005 he was a highway patrol trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Casebolt’s now-deleted LinkedIn account stated Casebolt joined the McKinney police force in 2005.

Casebolt was also listed as an instructor at the McKinney-based Executive Self-Defense & Fitness Training. Its listing said Casebolt had trained in “several different disciplines of martial arts, but now exclusively trains in Krav Maga combat arts, Arnis, and ground fighting.”

The company has since deleted any reference to Casebolt from its website.

Any article on or twistable to race gets far more than its normal share of posts. That alone is revealing of something.

And such massed posts are enlightening in another way. A mere glance through them shows why no sane black American would ever vote conservative.

Tens of millions of religiously and socially conservative black voters in America and the politically conservative bigot brigade drives them into the Democrats’ arms.

Good job GOPers.

” Cpl. David Eric Casebolt, who had been placed on administrative leave after the episode on Friday, remains under investigation, Chief Greg Conley said at a news conference. The corporal will keep his pension and benefits, the police chief said.

“Our policies, our training, our practice doesn’t support his actions,” Chief Conley said. “He came into the call out of control, and as the video shows was out of control during the incident.”

The “Chief” is playing to the Ghetto Lottery commission. He looks like, has the mannerisms and speech patterns of a federalie. He threw one of his officer’s under the bus for political expediency. I hope he get’s ran out of town on a rail after being tared and feathered.

Update…the pig has resigned and even his own police chief said his actions were “indefensible”.
Fox News doesn’t know how to handle this. Their narrative is persecuted white cops vs. unruly “thugs” but this story has gotten out in front of them before they’ve had time to develop the narrative given the cop has resigned and the police chief’s words.
It’s funny watching them eating a bit of crow but still sort of trying to gin up sympathy for this total douche.

Why are you even watching shit on Faux news?
I know, it’s kinda like watching Howard Cosel back in the day. People loved to hate him – same with Faux news for some………
Honestly, I rarely watch Faux News. Weekday mornings I DID watch “Imus in the Morning” on Fox Business till he went off the air last week. Watch MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” (mainly to ogle Mika!!)
For no shit news CNN is what I watch for the breaking stuff. All of them are biased to a degree but the way i see it, CNN is LESS biased.
Sure do miss watching Bob Schiefert though; he is the last of the “old lions”. We need his type now more than ever. If he were back on, he would say the right thing plus he is a Texas native through and through which makes him even more credible on shit like this
Then there is NPR & BBC………………
Thank goodness for satellite TV & radio!!!!!

You really should keep your Fox News derangement out of this. Quite honestly, I think they have had far too many guests on that would probably agree with you and they were spouting their nonsense about this all day yesterday. MSNBC, meanwhile, never presents even a scintilla of an alternative viewpoint, yet you probably never make jokes regarding them.
As for the cop’s resignation, it’s meaningless to me. It doesn’t prove anything, except for maybe mob rule, damage control, and/or threats to his life that prevent him from continuing with this force he has been with since 2005. By his actions being “indefensible”, there is no way to know what part the chief is talking about. I didn’t care for his mouth or his lack of poise, but I came across all kinds of cops like that in my late teens. He was surrounded by an unruly mob of kids who were milking the fact that he was white for all it’s worth. You could hear the underhanded comments from those around the camera: “Typical white cop”, “he gon’ get fired for this”, “he ain’t never gonna be working here no more”. He really only had two choices. Buck up and take the consequences or hunker down and get swarmed. I would certainly agree that more poise would have helped, but how much? You seem to be looking for all kinds of evidence that the white people at the pool were racist or that partygoers all really did have pool passes, but do you care about the people threatening the life of Benet Embry? He had a firsthand account and yet fellow blacks (who weren’t even there) are threatening his life for not following the narrative that this was all based on racism.

Been there, didn't do that June 10, 2015 at 12:21 am

I once got kicked out of an all white private pool after moving to a small town in SC and being invited by a friend. I’m white, so race obviously wasn’t the issue; property rights were. Though it was embarrassing and meant I had to spend that summer pretty much by myself, I understood that it made no sense for people to pay for an amenity if others, like me, could just come in and use it for free. I didn’t protest the removal and never darkened their door again. I’ve also had more than my share of run ins with the police, always cooperated to the extreme and, perhaps not coincidentally, have moved on to a more productive and happy phase of life.
