I am of the strong opinion Graham can’t even win his home state. Yes, he is popular as a Senator, but no one wants him as POTUS. I don’t mind him as US Senator, even though I do not agree with him on defense issues. As POTUS? No way.
Graham is too much of a jerk. He can’t connect well at all with the common middle class and poor.
Graham is wittier, folksier and brighter than just about everyone else running for the Republican nomination. With him, the debate becomes must see. Without him, it’s a snooze-fest. That being said, he still ain’t gonna win. But give credit where credit is due.
How would Miss Lindsey function as POTUS? Without Obama to play the tunes, how could Graham be able to dance?
John McCain would tell him when and how high to jump. Also when to suck, blow and back dat’ ass up.
That makes sense. But then there’d be that “one heart beat away” (this time, from not knowing what to do next) issue when Palin stood to be Songbird’s VP.
They could always have his bud Billary on retainer in case of illness or incapacitation of the primary puppet master.
That would certainly work!
Anybody can work a puppet, and Graham is more than willing to have his “strings” tugged if it lets him live out his dream of someday being a real dictator. Every time Graham says something warmongering or totalitarian in nature, his lower member grows an inch.
Anyone with a brain knows Graham’s candidacy is not serious. He is just running interference for somebody, namely Jeb.
Does he really expect the party donors to go along with his charade, when they could instead earn IOUs from a legitimate candidate?
When I first saw he was running, I thought good grief, SC is going to vote for him because he is homegrown. But in short period of time I realized – he didn’t even make a big splash in his home town.
Considering how big of warmongerers the last Bush presidencies were I’m sure you are right. He may not get to push the buttons himself but another 4-8 years of pro-war presidency is enough Astroglide to get him through the next decade.
Lady Lindsey is running to be SecDef. He’ll get to pet the button, rub the button, and cuddle with the button.

I agree. Graham is a lot of things but he is not an idiot. He is running interference and being a lightning rod the same way Trump is doing.

I’m thinking, that while Folks is gone, I might try two things—
(1) post a short story about children at the beach, sort of a sweet, loving, fluffy adventure — but I’ll break it up into chapters, maybe 5 or 7, and if I can find it tonight I’ll drop the first one in the bucket
(2) many times my avatar doesn’t reflect my true mood about my comment, so I may use some new ones showing more realistic emotions (maybe with a TWIST — hah!)

This is shocking news! A candidate’s operative are out trying to get support for their candidate. I would never have dreamed this could happen. It must be a first that the astute Sic Willie has uncovered.

Lindsey is probably running to be VP with Hillary. “All working together and nonpartisan”. Remember he tried to get McCain to pick Democrat Lieberman as his VP. I have not talked to anyone who thinks he should be President or VP.

Too bad he isn’t required to resign from the Senate to run for POTUS. It would be nice to see a conservative get elected to his seat in the Senate.
