How about this?
If a person can no longer run for any specific office for any specific reason (term limits, disgraced out of office, jailed etc), they are required to legally disperse all the funds within a year of their last election or date they were forced out?
And, they certainly should not be allowed to continue to raise money for a campaign fund established for them to run for a particular office if they can no longer run for the office again for any reason.
That little loophole is what makes a campaign account a slush fund.
Looks like she continues to “disperse” her “Nikki Haley for Governor” funds to play politics and for the 2016 election cycle. I recall she used that account to fund her bashing of the Machinist Union’s attempt to unionize Boeing.
Likely, she is perhaps she is positioning herself for a post-2016 situation.
