TRUMP SCHEDULES PRESS CONFERENCE TO ANNOUNCE 2016 INTENTIONS
|| By FITSNEWS || Billionaire real estate mogul and reality television star Donald Trump has scheduled a press conference later this month to announce his decision regarding a 2016 presidential bid.
Trump’s press conference will be held on June 16 in the atrium of his Fifth Avenue headquarters in downtown New York City.
Trump toyed with the idea of running for president in 2012 but ultimately decided against it – eventually endorsing the candidacy of eventual nominee Mitt Romney (a decision he has come to regret). In his visits to early-voting states, Trump has been a leading critic of establishment “Republican” figures like Romney and 2016 presidential contender Jeb Bush.
“The last thing this country needs is another Bush,” Trump said during a January visit to South Carolina. “We’ve had it with the Bushes.”
Our thoughts on Trump’s candidacy? We remain skeptical (of both his views and his viability) – although we do appreciate the aggressive position he’s taken against “Obamatrade,” a crony capitalist trade deal being pushed by U.S. president Barack Obama (with “Republican” support in Congress).
And we obviously appreciate his trademark bluntness in addressing his political rivals … which is something the nominating process needs.
On the whole we believe – as our columnist Taylor Brown recently noted – that Trump “is going to be good for the debate.”
If he runs, Trump would join a field that currently includes retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, former New York governor George Pataki, U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania.
Former Texas governor Rick Perry will join the field this week.
Expected to announce their candidates soon are Bush, Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, New Jersey governor Chris Christie, Ohio governor John Kasich, Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal and U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

Trump will certainly add entertainment value to the whole circus affair. He’s the ringmaster in a certain way.
Kinda like Obama being the ringmaster of the whole circus in the middle east? That “jv” team ISIS has become quite entertaining.
“Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right”-Stealers Wheel
Problem is those in the so called “middle” don’t believe in a damn thing although they disguise their disdain for the moral and cultural values in this country by advocating for individual liberties that are destructive to this nation.Drug legalization is one example.
Yep. Advocating for individual liberty via prosecution of victimless crime is bringing this country to its knees.
The ever expanding debt due primarily to war & welfare is a minor annoyance in comparison.
Drugs are a victim less crime?
When there isn’t a victim, yes.
A victimless crime is a term used to refer to actions that have been made illegal but which do not directly violate or threaten the rights of any other individual. It often involves consensual acts, or solitary acts in which no other person is involved. For example, in the United States, current victimless crimes include prostitution, gambling, and illicit drug use.
Individual liberty > Collectivist Bullshit
The clown car is crowded with more to come.
Trump loves this country and is good for any debate involving fiscal/economic issues.
He also understood early on that Barack Obama was not “one of us”.
The Donald is entertaining without a doubt, but he has about as much of a “date with destiny” as Thomas Ravenel did (that is to say, that reality exists only here in the FITS-o-sphere).
Because NO one takes him seriously Trump can say outrageous things…that are actually true. That is valuable.
Agreed, but that in no way equates to a “date with destiny.” “Notoriety,” perhaps, or maybe even “infamy” (a la Ross Perot), but not “destiny.”
Point well taken.
Yeah, I wonder if his ego has reached the point where he’ll attempt an independent run. That would cement it for Hillary, end for Jebito.
I believe he “threatened” it last time. I don’t think he’s so stupid to think an independent run is viable/possible under the current electoral process.
I can’t even remember if the Libertarian party has full ballot access in all states…I think they were still shy one or two if I recall properly.
The system allows for those choosing the label of “R” or “D”, period.
But he let Folks on board his fancy private jet. No other candidate can TRUMP that.
Awkward Truth 2 “SC WORKFORCE INCHES UP” According to Fitsnews; https://www.fitsnews.com/2015/04/23/sc-workforce-inches-up/#wEsi1HozHlGQXdeA.99
But is INCHES UP an accurate description?
This was the first time fits reported on SC employment since the November 2014 BLS report. In January 2014 the labor participation rate rose by three tenths of a percent. In the nearly forty years of this record keeping, it has never risen that much in one month. IS THAT INCHING UP OR LEAPING FORWARD?
It seems you’ve become akin to Grand Tango in the last few months.
Remember how he used to jump in every topic/article with an off topic Obama rant?
That’s you right now.
In 2014, Fits reported monthly the decline in the SC LPR. Now when it’s rising, he won’t report it. So I’m doing Will’s job.
You can’t submit an article to him instead of annoying everyone?
He loves that shit. Submit an article.
Would he publish, under BT not knowing my real name? – M.H. :-)
Of course he would. Years back he was posting stuff by some guy named “A. Citizen”…I think he even posted a rant by Big T under some Italian guys name.
He has ran a letter under a pseudonym that I submitted in the past.
Will it be followed with a date with sanity?
Is this how you define sanity:

Wow, that essay he wrote 40+ years ago is sooooo damaging!!! Did you even read the entire article? Do you even get sarcasm or it over your head?
Yes, I’m fully aware that was sarcasm. I gathered that from the headline. Nevertheless, the quotes are still his and I find it extremely hard to believe that if it were Trump who wrote those things that you would let it slide. Sanders has been trying to back-track, giving the same excuse that it was40 years and some other mealy mouthed nonsense about “dealing with gender stereotypes”. I couldn’t care less one way or another, but I do know that any republican candidate would have had to drop out by now if they were found out to have written that.
You kidding?!?! Writing an article like that would have the BEST thing any of GOP candidates would have done.

HOT DAMN..!! Shifty proposes, since there will be enough candidates by the end of June, that the candidates get together and field a team to scrimmage with the Gamecocks. I’m paying to see that!
PS: Will Nikki’s ego allow her to “announce” — she loves publicity.
